I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few extra days for W7 to be posted to MSDN and TechNet, given that the 13th is just the RTM sign-off day. They've historically outsourced the most popular downloads for MSDN and TN to Akamai, so there's a good chance that server availability will be acceptable. I, for one, will install it shortly after it's posted. I've been running the public RC on my work machine since release, and can't wait. Instead of dual booting, have you tried the Virtual XP option that comes with Win7? It's a custom virtual PC add-on that works very well. What's so cool is that when you install apps in the virtual XP for all users, they show up in your Win7 start menu. It's stripped of features and AFAIK only does winxp but is better integrated. So vmware and parallels are much more robust for advanced and general purpose. Virtual xp is just there to ensure compatibility with win7.
