On Friday, June 4, an agitated man with a bald head and full gray beard

Israel’s barbaric attack on the humanitarian Gaza aid flotilla once again
demonstrated to the world the blind complicity of the United States led
Europe and exposed the political, military and moral bankruptcy of the Arab

In the face of Zionist Jewish crimes all cherished human values, human

Palestinians enjoying a water pipe while looking out into the Mediterranean
Sea. The waters off the Gaza Strip could get busy this summer.

By Charles Hawley

A group of German Jews has stepped up efforts to send a humanitarian mission
to the Gaza Strip in defiance of the Israeli sea blockade. Increasingly, it
looks as though the group will have plenty of competition. The waters off
Gaza promise to be busy this summer.

For years, the waters just off the coast of the Gaza Strip have been
relatively quiet. Ever since Israel imposed an air, land and sea blockade on
the region following the ascent of Hamas to power in 2007, fewer and fewer
visitors have risked the trip. Even the local fishing industry has suffered

Melihat
hidup dari satu pandangan sehala. Jalan yang selamat, sudah terbiasa dan
diketahui tidak akan menggagalkan. Mahu membuat pelbagai advencer, tetapi
sekadar advencer biasa-biasa sahaja. Bukan sesuatu yang memberi kejutan,
yang membuatkan tunggang terbalik dan boleh menambahkan komplikasi.

Mesti berfikir secara lateral. Di luar lingkaran takutkan risiko. Takut
tanpa justifikasi dan analisis kualitatif.

Aku memerlukan advencer penuh adrenalin, sebuah advencer luar biasa dalam
advencer biasa-biasa. Menyemarak satu eksplorasi yang bermula dari satu

Good afternoon all Honourable Members of the House, ladies and gentlemen.

First of all, I would like to record our most sincere gratitude having been
given this honour of presenting this memorandum before this esteemed House.
Today, marks a moment of honour for the people of Sabah, the former North
Borneo, for having been accorded this rare opportunity to present a
Memorandum a matter of grave significance, a matter which affect our fate as
the people of the Federation of Malaysia. We see this as a historical event,
a moment granted by God’s grace, in which we can communicate under this
honourable roof, to reminisce a milestone of history half a century ago
which was followed by sad events that in too many instances happened with
numerous misgivings.

For decades now, we the people of Sabah, have been haunted by ghosts of
history dating back to August 31, 1963, the day we gained independence from
Great Britain. Malaysia was conceptualised and constituted with the best of
promises, endearing in us hopes and dreams for a greater future. It is with
sadness that I stand here to witness that what had transpired since
September 16, 1963 had been a series of events that had led us to the
present situation in which we can justly proclaim to be a situation of
shattered hopes and broken dreams!

*The decision to leave my country came after I knocked on many doors of the
Saudi bureaucracy, hoping in vain to obtain the God-given right to live with
my Arab-Canadian husband in the country of my birth. *

Instead of a residency permit, I was called names and degraded. Why? Because
I, a Saudi, had chosen to marry a non-Saudi.

Not only was I humiliated, I was also approached for bribes of up to
SR40,000 (about $10,600) by people claiming to know how to manipulate the
system. My husband was kicked out of Saudi Arabia twice because his
temporary status had lapsed. At one point in this ridiculous process, an
immigration official lost my husband's Canadian passport.

Dubai is certainly a safe haven for many people looking for success or just
a quiet holiday destination, however not everybody has such noble aims. The
city also seems to be a safe haven to another category of people as well,
since it is easy to enter, work in, travel to and from, and live. The number
of tourists who visit Dubai surpasses those who visit the Great Pyramids of
Egypt, and the Tunisian and Lebanese beach resorts combined. In fact the
number of tourists who visit Dubai stands at five times the number of
pilgrims who visit Mecca to perform the hajj.

Dubai is a city visited by 15 million people a year, with foreigners
constituting 90 percent of its residents, and therefore it is only natural
that security would be a chief concern. Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, who was
assassinated in the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel and who was a leading Hamas
figure working undercover, entered Dubai using a forged passport. He was
trailed by 11 professional who were members of an Israeli commando team.
They entered Dubai Airport at a corresponding time using forged passports.

She was one of the noblest women of her time, coming from a very prominent

have been a great feat for any man, and indeed, quite a few of the most
prominent and wealthy men in society had asked for her hand. Yet, she
rejected them all; already being a widow, she had lost the desire to marry
again.

Until he came into her life. He was young man of 25, and although he was
also of a noble family, he was an orphan and was not a man of many means. He
had made a meager living tending sheep in the hills surrounding the city.
Yet, he had an impeccable moral character, and he was widely known as one of
the most honest men around. That is what attracted her to him: she was
looking for someone honest who could conduct business for her, as she – a
woman in a fiercely patriarchal society – could not do it herself. So, he

Assalaamo Alaikum, that is, peace be with you!

Worshipful Master, distinguished brethren and brethren: I am pleased to

justice to this complex subject in a space of 20 odd minutes. But, I was
persuaded to take up the challenge by the encouragement and assistance of W
Bros Shiva Banerjee and Ronald Ng, whom I could not disappoint.

Islam has been much in the limelight these days. I have been diligent in
attending to my duties as both, a mason and a Muslim and have come to
realise that Islam and masonry are indeed compatible. Freemasonry may even
be considered complementary to Islam as its principles only go to reinforce
a Muslim brothers own faith; contrary to the misconceptions widely held
among my Muslim brethren from various sects. The distrust perhaps arises
from the fact that masonic symbols are derived from segments of the Old
Testament such as the Temple of King Solomon, which gives the uninstructed
world the erroneous impression that masons are Zionists. It is serious
enough for masonry to have been brought into question in Malaysia in the
late 70s. Yet, the Old Testament is not excluded from the beliefs of Islam.
On the contrary, King Solomon is considered to have been a follower of Islam
*1* ! More of this later Anyway, masons are obligated to submit to the
laws of the VSL, which, in the case of the Muslim brethren in the Craft, is
the Holy Quran, if they so desire.

Its scary to see the number of Muslim youngsters who are either already

pass even a few hours in relative silence.

If you think this is hyperbole, take a minute to talk to your friendly
neighborhood music enthusiast and watch them confess that music is their
buzz, their high, or even their life. Interestingly, most
parents who
would be alarmed if their offspring were involved in substance abuse, see no
harm in indulging and actively feeding a music addiction, viewing it as a
harmless phase that they will automatically outgrow.

How harmless is popular music? How do we identify a music addiction? And
most importantly, how does one break the habit if theyre hooked?

AirAsia X had initially identified using Dubai International Airport as the

Quickly realising that Emirates would *absolutely annihilate* this fanciful

Looking to the Middle East By LEONG SHEN-LI

Saudi Arabia and especially the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been
targeted by Malaysia as major sources of investments and both countries have
already put significant amounts of money here. At the same time, many
Malaysian companies have made inroads into the two countries, especially in
the UAE where they are involved in construction projects.

Yet, in line with Najibs constant reminders of the dangers of businesses
resting on their laurels, there is no letting up in the push to attract more
business to Malaysia and to open up further avenues for Malaysian companies
in the region.

Najibs three days in Abu Dhabi, the largest of the seven emirates in the

of Malaysian companies in the country.

Help Palestine [hidayahnet] Islamic Banking and Profit Fairness

Islamic finance is a moral financial model based on divine principles, the
most important of which is justice. There are many Quranic verses and
Hadiths that deal with this, such as: "We sent aforetime our messengers with
Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and
Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice," [Surat al Hadid; Verse 25].
There is also: "And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the
Balance (of Justice)" [Surat al Rahman; Verse 7]. God Almighty also said,
"Allah commands justice," [Surat al Nahl; Verse 90]. In a Hadith Qudsi the
Prophet [pbuh] narrated the word of God, saying "My servants, I have
forbidden injustice for myself and I have made injustice forbidden to you.
Do not be unjust to one another." Renowned Islamic scholar al-Izz Ibn

When I announced a visit to Saudi Arabia, my friends’ reactions ranged from
surprise to consternation. Why, they wondered, and what was there? Others
were less receptive. The consensus was that visiting would be an academic
exercise at best and, for western women wrapped in the obligatory abayas, a
chore. The Saudi enigma seemed couched in severe and not particularly
positive terms even, or perhaps particularly, by those who had never

Yet for people who are curious about a place that seems at once familiar (we

enigmatic (just what is there?) – or simply seek a destination few people

2009-12-30 Terurut Topik Mohamed Fudzail
MAKKAH: For some pilgrims, especially those coming from the Russian
Federation and Central Asia, the Haj doesnt end after the stoning of the
Satan, but continues afterward with the annual tradition of selling goods
they brought to help pay for their journey of a lifetime.

Pilgrims, mostly from Russia and former Russian states, have set up more
than 500 stalls in Kudai, a car park about five minutes drive from the Grand
Mosque, where they are selling various products including electrical
appliances, tape recorders, bedding, utensils, cookware, fashion
accessories, toys, clothes and handicrafts. One can also find the occasional
pistol, sword or knife on display.

*The world's fifty richest Arab businessmen and woman are worth $207bn,
which is an incredible figure, even before you consider that somehow or
other they have contrived to squeeze an extra $4.5bn (on last year's figure)
out of the last twelve months - a time which historians will one day refer
to as the decade when capitalism broke.*

And compare the gap between these 50 richest Arabs with millions other Arabs
living under poverty, which is on average reaching 40% of total Arab
population.

Wondering if these richest Arabs pay their zakats, would the poors benefit?

Help Palestine [hidayahnet] Tiger Woods, Dubai, Berlusconi and Media Conspiracy

2009-12-25 Terurut Topik Mohamed Fudzail
The nature of media is such that its figures must immerse themselves in the
negative aspects of all events; this is meant to be part of the fundamentals
of politics without the need for having to investigate hidden causes. The
media loves excitement and it tends towards slander and looks for disasters.
This is why three stories came together in the same week even though they
had nothing to do with each other except that they were attractive to the
press.

The most recent of these incidents was when a madman attacked the Italian
Prime Minister [Silvio Berlusconi]; the second was the scandal surrounding
golf star Tiger Woods after it was discovered that he had cheated on his
wife; and the third event occurred prior to these two events when
international markets were shaken by the statements from Dubai that it would
not be paying its overdue debts on time.

PENGERTIAN Islam Russia ialah sesuatu yang susah dibayangkan atau ungkapan
yang tidak mencerminkan keadaan nyata. Setengah abad yang lalu ungkapan
'Muslimin Russia' amat ganjil. Islam dianggap agama orang berbangsa Tatar

Penasihat wakil Presiden Russia di kawasan persekutuan Volga, Sergey

MAKKAH: Haj 2009 may have come and gone, but for Abdul Fattah Dove, a
30-year-old pilgrim from the Republic of Dagestan in the Russian Federation,
this journey will remain in his memory for the rest of his life.

Dove said his journey to Makkah took him a month because his car was old and
unreliable. He said it took him years to save up the money for the most
affordable Haj visa, the one that doesn’t come with transportation, room and
board.

“I refused to marry so as not to lose anything of the amount of money I had
collected,” he said.

Help Palestine [hidayahnet] Swiss Controversy : Misunderstanding the minaret

2009-12-18 Terurut Topik Mohamed Fudzail
THE controversy over the Swiss vote against the construction of new minarets
seems to emphasize political and constitutional issues, notably the
restructuring of many right-wing parties around the issue of a
“European-Christian” identity standing against an “Islamization of Europe”
and the possible conflict between the democratic right to make decisions by
voting and the constitutional principle of freedom of faith. Yet the main
argument suggested to support the ban position is rarely discussed.

The basic reasoning of the ban position is presented in a flyer prepared by
the “Federal Popular Initiative Against Minarets”, which is initiated by a
provincial “Egerkinger Kommittee”, and it focuses on the significance of the
minaret. The key idea lays in the following assertion: “The minaret is an
expression of willingness to have politico-religious power.” The two-page
flyer suggests that this is the case because the minaret “has nothing to do
with faith,” and also because of what Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan said in 1997 when he compared, playing with the words of a 1912
Ottoman poem, the minarets to “the bayonets” in an Islamist march to power.

the pioneers in the Malaysian cartoon landscape.

But only in the late 70’s did the cartoon industry in Malaysia started to
blossom when a humor magazine, Gila-Gila, a local version of the ‘Mad

like Jaafar Taib, Zainal Buang Hussien, Tazidi, Don, Kerengge, Ujang, Reggie

Australia and Thailand also came in the top three in the survey of 3,146

Lee was clearly tired, although unruffled.

Lee is an impressive man. He has a commanding presence and is very
articulate, despite his soft poise and humble demeanor. He speaks with the

Help Palestine [hidayahnet] Iskandar Malaysia - Please do not fail us!

I applaud such an initiative especially we need a new growth centre after
the failures of MSC, PKFZ, Cyberjaya, to name a few and other projects under
the 'Satu lagi projek kerajaan Barisan Nasional' which had wasted billions
of our money and fund for the future generations. Those failures are not in
the annual Auditor General's report on the wastage and perhaps our MPs can
voice our concerns in the parliament.

I do not how much has been spent to date in getting IM on the ground. How
much more to be spent to move and complete the project. The planners must
have adequate study on the cost of such project and the return of investment
for the benefits of people (not only those Umno cronies who may have been
the biggest benefactors).

Being personally involved with several mammoth projects in Dubai, from the
initial planning to execution and delivery, I would say, those people who
had been chosen to lead and manage IM must be capable, experienced and
forward thinking in executing the plan. I am very much impressed with IM and
have a very high regards as well as hopes.

Help Palestine [hidayahnet] Dumbest Thieves in the UAE

Brief's case

When panties hung out to dry started to mysteriously disappear from villas
in mid- 2007, it didn't take long for residents of Ras Al Khaimah's Al
Nakheel area to realise that a thief with a lingerie fetish was on the
loose. However, given the embarrassing nature of the theft, nobody reported
the matter. Finally, an angry Egyptian woman who had seven briefs stolen in
almost as many days decided enough was enough and alerted the authorities. A
trap was set with CID sleuths putting up fancy women's underwear in houses
around the vicinity as bait. The cops waited all night and just when they
were about to call it a day, they saw a man walking around uncomfortably. It
was a dead giveaway. When the 29-year-old was searched, the police found him
wearing five sets of panties. Another five bags full of stolen lingerie were
recovered from his closet.

Dipercayai orang Melayu yang berkemampuan dan terbabit dalam aktiviti

With the current situation (beside other problems faced by earthlings, of

In case you have not noticed, 5 muslim nations are amongst the top buyers
