We ask you to join in our opposition to the decision by Success Resources, a company founded in Singapore, to bring former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to Malaysia as a sponsored speaker at the National Achievers Congress, Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, 23 April to 25 April 2010. We strongly oppose this decision because we believe Blair is a war criminal for his role in the war of aggression in Iraq. In international law and under the Nuremberg principles, war of aggression constitutes the supreme crime. This war also contravenes the United Nations Charter and has led to the death of over one million Iraqis. To have him on our soil is a travesty of natural justice and a mockery to those Iraqis who have paid with their lives for Blair's illegal war. To this day, the killing, butchery and enormous suffering endures. It is our utmost hope that Malaysian NGO's, their members and supporters who feel and sympathise with the Iraqis, will sign this petition to tell Blair and the organisers that he is not welcome in Malaysia. Siapa Aduka Taruna sebenarnya, tidaklah saya ketahui. Namun di sini ada beberapa perkara mengenai isu beliau yang saya hendak sentuh: 1. Menghina atau mengungkit kisah orang yang sudah mati, tiada gunanya lagi. Jika hendak nasihat, atau mengkritik, kritiklah yang masih hidup secara membina atau membetulkan keadaan. Jika hendak memberi amaran kepada yang zalim, sebutlah kepada mereka ketika hayat masih di badan. Mungkin ada perkara yang boleh dibaiki, atau sekurang-kurangnya mereka diingatkan. 2. Setelah saya sendiri baca, amatlah buruknya budi dan bahasa beliau. Dia menyatakan kepada isteri Nabi yang mulia itu ‘bangang’, ‘dua ekor mangkuk’, ‘bangang tukil’ dan berbagai lagi perkataan-perkataan yang amat biadap terhadap seorang wanita yang dibela oleh al-Quran dan al-Sunnah. Amat menyedihkan. Sila lihat lampiran. 5. Tuduhan-tuduhan beliau kepada Aishah dan Muawiyah tidak berasaskan fakta sejarah yang sebenar. Israeli Police Stop Muslim Prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque 3rd Holy Mosque of Islam Under Israeli Control RAMALLAH - West Bank:-- Friday April 17, 2009 Israeli police yesterday forbid the Arab Palestinian Muslims from preforming their prayes or enter the 3rd holy mosque of Islam -- Al Aqsa. This is the third holy mosque of Islam for Muslims everywhere. Access has been almost impossible since the ban went into action. One reason given by the Israelis is they feared an outbreak of protesting and fighting in the streets because of a plan for Jewish extremists gaining access to the location for their prayers. Police blocked the entrance to the complex fearing the possibility of rioting, but the extermists of the right-wing Jewish activists who had been threatening to come to the holy site never showed up anyway. Only the Muslim men over 50 with proper identification cards are to be allowed access to the complex. This is due to the fear Israelis have of potential rioting of the Muslims due to the intrusion of the Jews on their holy property. The age for women was not subject to restrictions. However, hundreds of Muslim worshippers held ... a demonstration outside Jerusalem’s Old City to protest the Israeli decision. Ahmad Tibi, Arab member of Israeli Knesset belonging to United Arab Party criticized the police decision to ban Muslim worshippers. “This decision harms freedom of worship, and it is actually the entrance of the rightist pyromaniacs that should be banned — not the entrance of Muslims,” he said. “The Al-Aqsa Mosque is in our blood; we will never abandon it,” said Sheikh Kamal Khateeb, vice chairman of the Islamic Movement. The spokesman for the northern branch of the Islamic Movement, Zahi Njaidat, said that the aim of the demonstration was to prevent “radical right-wing groups” from “gaining control” of Al-Aqsa. “There are radical groups which called for the masses to come and Judaize this place. We have come to tell them that we are at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and they cannot change this,” Najidat said. Carter also told Al Jazeera's Riz Khan on Wednesday that US presidents were unable or unwilling to take on Israel's supporters in the US, but said he had high hopes for George Mitchell, the new US Middle East envoy.The former US leader said there was "no way to have a permanent peace in the Middle East without the inclusion of Hamas". "Hamas has got to be involved before peace can be concluded." Carter said reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah, the faction led by Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, had been "objected to and obstructed by the US and Israel". He hoped the new Obama administration would work to bring the Palestinian factions together. Carter also said Hamas had mainly kept to its truce agreement not to attack Israel. Israel says the operation was necessary to stop Palestinian fighters firing rockets into southern Israel. Mitchell praise Carter said that US presidents had officially backed UN resolutions calling on Israel to end its occupation of Palestinian land, but that they had been unwilling to take on Israel's political allies. "The fact is that very few of the presidents have been willing to confront Israel's forces in the United States, politically speaking," Carter said in what appeared to be a reference to the powerful Israeli lobby. Carter, a Democrat who was president from 1976 until 1980, praised Obama for signalling deeper US involvement in the quest for Middle East peace by appointing Mitchell. "If you look at US Middle East envoys in the past, almost all of them have been closely associated with Israel, sometimes even working professionally for Israel. George Mitchell is a balanced and honest broker compared to the others." Mitchell, a former senator, has held talks in Israel and Egypt during his first tour of the region aimed at promoting what he said would be a bid for "lasting peace" between Israel and the Palestinians. He had served as special envoy to Northern Ireland during the Clinton administration and brokered the landmark Good Friday accord in 1998 that ended decades of bloody violence in the conflict. Menurut hadits yang keenam bahwa Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam tidak qunut melainkan apabila beliau hendak mendo’akan kebaikan atau mendo’akan kebinasaan atas suatu kaum. Secretary of the Publications and Quranic Texts Control Division Che Din Yusoh said today 21 of the publications were in the English language and published in the United States, United Kingdom and Jordan while 16 were in Bahasa Malaysia and published in Malaysia and Indonesia. All the book titles and publications were banned by a prohibition order under the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984, he said in a statement. Suddenly, in less than a second, she heard someone was trying to open the back door. She turned to take a look, but nobody was there. She turned, and found that the man inside the petrol station (mentioned before) was trying to open the front passenger's door! He had a very innocent looking face, with decent clothing! Nobody could have ever thought that this man is actually a robber! She was so scared, she pressed her horns, really frightened, shocked and scared. The worst part was the man did not even show any signs of being afraid or noticed. He walked calmly towards his accomplice like nothing had happened, and even managed to take make a few rounds on his bike around the station's compound before riding away. After lodging a report, the victim and the police went through the CCTV. The recording had shown that the man was actually holding a knife in his other hand!! The police said that if the lady was a second slower, it might have been worse. Thanks God she was okay. So friends, be really careful. Pls tell this to others. Some lessons to be wary of : 1 - Always be alert and extra careful, especially when withdrawing money 2 - Car owners - pls have the key in ready in your hand, ALWAYS. Dia seorang da`i yang penuh tanggungjawab. Dia termasuk salah seorang yang benar-benar mengamalkan ciri-ciri dakwah Islam. Ia juga memiliki kemahiran dalam membawakannya. Assalamualaikum wbt, Sebagaimana yg kita sudah dimaklumi, Kerajaan Arab Saudi telah mengumumkan hari wukuf bagi tahun 1427H ialah pada hari Jumaat 29 Disember 2006. Manakala di Malaysia pula, HAri Raya akan disambut pada hari Ahad 31 Disember 2006. Persoaalannya; Bilakah hari yg disunatkan berpuasa - hari wukuf atau 9 Dzulhijjah mengikut kalendar Malaysia iaitu hari Sabtu? Ana telah ajukan soalan ini kepada salah seorang ustaz ASWJ. Jawaban yg diberikan amat jelas lagi terang; dipendekkan lebihkurang begini: Sabda Rasulullah (ana lupa bunyi hadithnya, tapi lebih kurang gini la.. Mungkin para2 protaz disini mailgroup ini boleh perbetulkan dgn hadith yg sebenar) .Haji itu wukuf di Arafah (Didalam Al Qur'an menyebutkan hanya permulaan bagi bulan2 Ramadan & Syawal ditentukan secara melihat anak bulan). Arafah itu terletak di luar kota Makkah, dibawah kekuasaan kerajaan Saudi. Jadi, bilamana diputuskan hari wukuf, hari itulah umat Islam yg tidak mengerjakan haji disunatkan berpuasa. Jadi, 3 hari tasyrik bermula keesokannya. Oleh itu pastikan kita tidak berpuasa pada hari Sabtu ini! Juga, pastikan hari terakhir mengerjakan korban ialah hari Isnin. Alhamdulillah W seorg yg teliti, dia perasan di barisan paling bawah tercatit "Anda wajib menjadi ahli persatuan" Dia minta penerangan ttg persatuan yg dimaksudkan tapi lelaki itu mengelak. Tak perlu risau pasal persatuan tu katanya. W tak puas hati, selagi tidak mendapat penerangan dia tak mahu isi borang. Berdolak dalik begitu begini akhirnya dapat tahu persatuan itu adalah Persatuan Melayu Kristian. Astaghfirrullah. Nauzubillah. Rupanya telah ramai yg didatangi lelaki itu. Saya bukanlah pakar psikologi, ilmuan agama, kaunselor tetapi sebagai ibu kpd 3 org anak (2 remaja & sorang 9thn) ingin memberi sedikit pandangan berdasarkan pengalaman. Memang anak2 diperingkat umur 2-10 tahun aktif dan ada macam2 idea. Kita sebaai mesti peka kpd perkembangan anak2 kita diusia ini supaya dapat channel kan idea mereka ini kearah yg positif. Kita juga sebagai org dewasa bertanggungjawab memastikan benda2 yg boleh membahayakan anak2 ini seperti benda2 tajam, beracun dsbnya. Teringat kpd kata Ustaz Ismail Kamus; kalau kucing curi ikan atas meja, jgn marah & pukul kucing tu; dia tak berakal. Itu memang fitrahnya. Kitalah yg berakal, sepatutnya menutup ikan dari dijamah kucing! Berbalik kpd masalah puan; memang bila kita didalam keadaan marah dgn suami, hati (i.e. dgn dorongan syaitan) cepat membisikkan perpisahan. Namun hakikatnya perpisahan akan memburukkan lagi keadaan! Pergilah kerumah anak2 miskin/yatim,macam2 cerita boleh dapat kat sana... Masalah puan ini masih boleh diperbaiki lagi. Cubalah perkara2 berikut: 1. Baca buku Pedoman Pendidikan Anak2 dalam Islam oleh Dr Abdullah Nashih Ulwan. Bukunya tebal - dlm 2 jilid tapi Amat berguna sekali!! Saya syorkan setiap ibubapa Islam MESTI khatam dan amalkan kandungannya!!! 2. Perbanyakkan solat tahajjud serta berdoa ketika sujud (didalam solat) 3. Baca surah keseluruhan surah AlBaqarah setiap 4 hari sekali utk menghindari gangguan syaitan didalam rumah. Kalau tak mampu, pasangkan tape/CD. Ada hadith sahih yg menyatakan syaitan keluar dari rumah yg didlmnya ada bacaan surah ini dan tidak akan mendekatinya selama 3 hari. 4.Minta bantuan kaunselor - ustaz/ustazah yang berkelulusan dan pengalaman didalam bidang ini. Memang proses membaikpulih akan mengambil masa, tetapi insyaAllah, berkat kesabaran, usaha dan doa, akan dapat diatasi. Allah itu Maha Pengasih lagi Penyayang. Perkara halal yang amat tidak disukaiNya ialah perceraian. Jadi janganlah kita buat perkara yang dibenciNya. Semoga Allah memberi hidayah dan taufiqNya keatas keluarga puan. Above all, he is anadventurous type who likes to climb furnitures, lompat sana sini, climbstairs, explore things, etc. He is still a kid yang belum understandreasons so all I can do is cakap jangan buat or supervise dia so that hewont injure himself.Suami saya has a different view of raising children. Anak saya yang pertamakerap dipukul oleh suami saya atas sebab2 kecil seperti tertumpah air,enggan makan, enggan tidur, etc. Pukul here means tampar kepala atau badandan tolak kepala. Mungkin ada cara pukul yang lain yang saya tak perasanyang sedar2 anak saya dah start menangis. Sometimes suami saya pukul anaksaya didalam keadaan marah and afterward dia cakap dia menyesal. Sometimespukulan ada tinggalkan bruises and sometimes tak. Tapi setiap kali anaksaya dipukuli, saya rasa sedih dan disappointed. Saya tahu anak saya takpatut diperlakuan sedemikian.Recently, anak saya enggan tidur waktu malam. Jadi anak saya started toplay by himself. Di dalam gelap, somehow he managed to get hold of savlontube (krim antiseptic), squeeze out some amount of savlon and pakai katrambut. To me what he did was funny. But not to suami saya. After he sawwhat happened, he became angry, dia tarik2 rambut anak saya sebab mainsavlon. Saya cuba tarik and peluk anak saya but then suami saya tarik anaksaya daripada tangan saya and baling anak saya ke lantai. Saya lantasbangun untuk selamatkan anak saya by pushing suami saya away tapi suamisaya dapat grab anak saya, hitting the boy, stripped off this pyjama andbawa masuk bilik air untuk basuh rambut. I still can hear anak saya kenamarah lagi dalam bilik air. I can never forget wajah anak saya bila keluardari bilik air. Anak saya nampak ketakutan, looking straight at me mintaditolong.
