Wanita Pertama ke Syurga

Pada suatu hari Fatimah bertanya Rasulullah, siapakah perempuan pertama 
yang
bakal masuk syurga. Baginda menjawab, seorang wanita yang bernama Mutiah.
Fatimah terkejut, ternyata bukan dia seperti yang dibayangkannya. Mengapa
orang lain, pada hal dia adalah puteri Nabi ?

Timbul keinginannya untuk mengetahui siapakah Mutiah itu. Apakah gerangan
yang dilakukannya sampai mendapat penghormatan begitu tinggi ?
Sesudah meminta izin daripada suaminya, Ali bin Abu Talib , Fatimah
berangkat mencari rumah Mutiah. Puteranya yang masih kecil Hasan menangis
ingin ikut lalu didukungnya Hasan ke rumah Mutiah. Fatimah mengetuk pintu
rumah Mutiah dan memberi salam. Wa'alaikumussalam ! Siapa di luar? 
Terdengar
jawapan lemah lembut dari dalam. Suara cerah dan merdu.

Saya Fatimah,  puteri Rasulullah . Alhamdulillah, alangkah bahagianya
saya hari ini, Fatimah sudi berkunjung ke gubuk saya, terdengar kembali
jawapan dari dalam. Kali ini nyata lebih gembira lagi makin dekat dengan
pintu.

Sendirian, Fatimah ? Aku ditemani Hasan. Aduh , maaf ya, suara itu
terdengar jadi menyesal.  Saya belum mendapat izin suami untuk menemui 
tamu
lelaki .
 Tapi Hasan masih kecil.  Meskipun kecil, Hasan lelaki. Esok saja datang
lagi, saya minta izin kepada suami, sahut Mutiah tidak kurang kecewanya.

Esoknya Fatimah datang dengan membawa Husain sekali. Selepas memberi salam
dan dijawap gembira , Mutiah berkata dari dalam.
 Datang dengan Hasan, Fatimah? Suami saya sudah memberi izin
'Ya dengan Hasan dan Husain 
Ha? Mengapa tidak beritahu dari kelmarin ? Yang dapat izin cuma Hasan.
Husain belum. Saya terpaksa meminta izin dari suami,  jawab Mutiah.

Hanya esok harinya baru mereka disambut baik oleh Mutiah di rumahnya.
Keadaan rumah itu sangat sederhana. Tidak ada satu pun perabot mewah. Namun
semuanya teratur rapi membuat tetamu senang berada di rumah itu.
Fatimah kagum melihat suasana yang menyenangkan itu. Sehingga Hasan dan
Husain yang biasa di rumah orang, kali ini nampak asyik bermain.
 Maaf ya, saya tidak boleh menemani Fatimah duduk. Sebab saya sedang
menyiapkan makanan untuk suami saya, kata Mutiah sambil sibuk di dapur.

Hampir waktu tengahari, masakan itu sudah siap semuanya lalu diletakkan
diatas mampan. Mutiah mengambil rotan dan diletakkan di sebelah hidangan.
Fatimah bertanya kepada Mutiah,  suamimu kerja di mana?
Di ladang. Sebagai pengembala?soal Fatimah.
Bukan. Bercucuk tanam.
Tapi mengapa kau bawakan rotan juga?tanya Fatimah.
Rotan itu saya sediakan untuk keperluan lain. Kalau suami saya sedang 
makan
, saya tanyakan apakah masakan saya sedap atau sebaliknya. Kalau suami saya
jawab, sedap, takkan terjadi apa-apa.Jika tidak sedap, rotan itu saya
berikan kepadanya agar dirotan punggung saya sebab ia tidak menyenangkan
suami.
Atas kehendak suamimukah kau bawa rotan itu,tanya Fatimah.
Oh, sama sekali tidak. Suami saya seorang yang penyayang. Ini semata-mata
kehendak saya agar jangan sampai menjadi isteri derhaka kepada suami.

Fatimah lantas meminta izin pulang. Dalam hati berkata, pantas kalau Mutiah
menjadi perempuan pertama masuk syurga, lantaran baktinya kepada suami
begitu besar dan tulus.

Kesetiaan seperti itu, bukan penganiayaan wanita oleh lelaki. Sebaliknya
cermin ketulusan dan pengorbanan wanita yang harus dihargai dengan perilaku
yang sama.

TEN THINGS WHICH NULLIFY ONES ISLAAM


In the name of Allaah the most Merciful, the Bestower
of Mercy. 

All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of the worlds. May
peace and salutations be upon the Last Messenger of
Allaah, and upon all
those who follow him until the Last day.To
proceed:Brother and Sister Muslim, you must be aware
that there are matters which
nullify your Islaam. Please be Mindful of them. 

1. Associating partners with Alaah (shirk). Allaah
Most High says (in the meaning ): 

Truly, whosoever sets up partners with Allaah, then
Allaah has forbidden the Garden for him, and the Fire
will be his abode.
And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers. (Soorah
Al-Maa'ida 5:72) 

Calling upon the dead, asking their help, or offering
them gifts or sacrifices are all forms of shirk. 

2. Setting up intermediaries between oneself and
Allaah, making supplication to them, asking their
intercession with Allaah, and
placing ones trust in them is unbelief (kufr). 

3. Anyone who does not consider the polytheists
(mushrikeen) to be unbelievers, or who has doubts
concerning their unbelief, or
considers their way to be correct, is himself/herself
an unbeliever (kafir). 

4. Anyone who believes any guidance to be more
perfect, or a decision other than the Prophets
decision to be better, is an
unbeliever. This applies to those who prefer the rule
of Evil (Taghout) to the Prophets rule. Some examples
of this are: 

(a) To believe that systems and laws made by human
beings are better than the Shariah of Islaam; for
example, 

That the Islaamic system is not suitable for the
twentieth century. 

That Islaam is the cause of the backwardness of the
Muslims. 

Or that al-Islaam is a relationship beween Allaah and
the Muslim. It should not interfere in other aspects
of life. 

(b)To say that enforcing the punishments prescibed
Allaah, such as cuttong of the hand of the theif or
the stoning of an adulterer, is
not suitable for this day and age. 

(c) To believe that it is permissible to give a rule
from that which Allaah did not reveal in Islamic
transactions or matters of law,
punishments or other affairs. Althoughone may not
believe such things to be superior to the Shari'ah he
in effect affirms such a stnad
by declaring a thing which Allaah has totally
prohibited, such as adultery, drinking alcohol or
usury, to be permissible. According to
the consensus of the Muslims, one who declares such
things to be permissible is an unbeliever (Kafir) 

5. Anyone who hates any part of what the Messenger of
Allaah [saw] has declared to be lawful has nullified
his Islaam, even though
he may act in accordance with it. Allaah Most High
says(in the meaning): 

This is because they hate what Allaah has sent down,
so he has made their deeds fruitless (Soorah Muhammad
47:9) 

6. Anyone who ridicules any aspect of the religion of
the Messenger of Allaah [saw], or any of its rewards
or punishments,
becomes an unbeleiver. Allaah Most High says (in the
meaning): 

Say: Was it Allaah, and His signs and His Messenger
that you were mocking? Make no excuse; you have
disbeleived after
you had believed. (Soorah At-Tawbah 9:65-66) 

7. The practice of magic. Included in this, for
example, is causing a rift between a husband and wife
by turning his love for her into
hatred, or tempting a person to do things he dislikes
using black arts. One who engages in such a thing or
is pleased with it is
outside the fold of Islaam. Allaah Most High says (in
the meaning): 

 But neither of these two (angels, Harut and Marut)
taught anyone (magic) till they had said, Indeed, we
are a trial; then do
not disbelieve. (Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:102) 

8. Supporting and aiding polytheists against the
Muslims. Allaah Most High says (in the meaning): 

Whoever among you who takes them as allies is surely
one of them. Truly, Allaah does not guide the
wrongdoers. (Soorah
Al-Maaida 5:51) 

9. Anyone who beleives that some people are permitted
to deviate from the Shariah of Muhammad [saw] is an un
believer by the
word of Allaah Most High (in the meaning): 

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it
will not be accepted of

With the Name of Allah, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful 
Redeemer

Human Development and Provisions for the 
Hereafter
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: 

  The Prophet said, "My similitude in comparison with the other prophets is 
  that of a man who has built a house completely and excellently except for a 
  place of one brick. When the people enter the house, they admire its beauty 
  and say: 'But for the place of this brick (how splendid the house will be)!" 
  
  another narrations adds: "So I am that brick, and I am the last of the 
  Prophets."

All praise is due to Allah who bestowed upon humanity a Mercy unlike any 
that came before or any that would come after, the Seal of the Prophets, the 
sender of the Message, our leader, the love of our hearts, Muhammad, upon whom 
be the peace and blessings of Allah. He is the last of the Prophets, and 
no other message will come after the Message bestowed upon him by Allah, the 
Most High, through the angel Jibril (upon whom be peace). 

One of the most important lessons that Muslims should draw from this 
Message, al-Qur'an, and from the example (sunnah) of Prophet Muhammed (saaws) is 
the concept of human development. From the moment of conception, a human 
being begins his development. This development continues until a person 
breathes his last breath. What occurs in between these two brief moments 
is largely determined by a person's choices and actions. 

In his very essence, the human being, (both male and female) is raw, pure, 
undisciplined, and untrained. In Al-Islam, this concept is called 
Fitra. 

  Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: 
  No child is born but upon Fitra. He then said. Recite: The nature made by 
  Allah in which He created man, there is no altering of Allah's nature; that is 
  the right religion."
Fitra,in Arabic, means "nature (natural), disposition, 
constitution, temperament, innate character, instinct." All of creation 
comes intoexistence in this state of Fitra. Unlike other 
forms of creation, however, humans beings have within them the ability to leave 
this state of natureinto something unnatural.

The struggle with oneselfto return to this natural state (jihad 
an-nafs) and the process of turning over one's affairs to the Creator 
(Al-Islam) are therefore the keys to human development that one must 
acquire while on this earth. 

EachProphet that was sent from Allah was a lesson in human 
development. The first one, Adam (upon whom be peace), was raw, unrefined, 
natural, and pure. In this state, he represents the first stage in our 
human development. Every Prophet after him was a step upthe ladder 
of human development culminating in the best of humanity, Muhammed 
(saaws). He is our model for human excellence. 

  "Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example 
  for any who hopes in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much." 
  (Qur'an Surat al-Azhab - 33:21)
Our development as human beings hinges on our ability to 
understandour relationship to the Creator as his servants, our willingness 
to submit and return to a state of fitra, and our provisions for the 
hereafter.


Serving the Creator

  "Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises all beings in the 
  heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings 
  outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah knows 
  well all that they do." (Qur'an, Surat An-Noor 24:41)
Everything in creation is obedient to Allah, Most High. Every star, 
every planet, every beast that walks the earth, roams the seas, or glides 
through the air knows a method of worshipping Allah. It's method is it's 
nature, fitra. A bird will not decide to stop being a bird. 
It is against its nature and against what Allah created it to be. It never 
leaves this nature and never has the desire to go outside of its limits. 
Angels also share in this pureness and unconditional servitude to the Most 
High. An angel's love and obedience to Allah is never questioned. 


Unlike the majority of creation, however, human beings can turn away from 
Allah. They can choose to disobey His commands, to stop loving Him, and to 
give up what is best in favor of what is wrong. It is therefore a test 
from Allah that we have the choice between obedience to Him or obedience to our 
own desires. Many times our
