Re: [hlds] [SPAM] Re: Stealing Accounts
Actually you can get your account scammed automatically with a program. Steam's clientregistry has an easy to decode password saving feature in it. The only way to get around it is to 1.) not have a keylogger and 2.) always type your password when you start Steam. Re: [hlds] Survival Map Names
No that's not true, I see some of them running l4d_smalltown02_drainage and l4d_hospital03_sewers, both of which are the Coop version of the map. Richard pointed out in IRC that there is additional files that make the modifications to the maps - which isn't what I was asking, but did give me the answer I needed. # ls |grep lmp l4d_airport02_offices_h_0.lmp l4d_airport03_garage_h_0.lmp l4d_airport04_terminal_h_0.lmp l4d_farm02_traintunnel_h_0.lmp l4d_farm03_bridge_h_0.lmp l4d_hospital02_subway_h_0.lmp l4d_hospital03_sewers_h_0.lmp l4d_hospital04_interior_h_0.lmp l4d_smalltown02_drainage_h_0.lmp l4d_smalltown03_ranchhouse_h_0.lmp l4d_smalltown04_mainstreet_h_0.lmp l4d_vs_airport05_runway_h_0.lmp l4d_vs_farm05_cornfield_h_0.lmp l4d_vs_hospital05_rooftop_h_0.lmp l4d_vs_smalltown05_houseboat_h_0.lmp So yeah definitely not all Versus maps. Re: [hlds] error: reliable channel overflowed
I'll assume that your provider sets you up with a vanilla server, aside from maybe giving you AMXModX to start with, so it would be a problem with their connection. The best thing you can do at this point is to start from scratch with your server and only have the basics on there. Add your plugins one by one and see if you still have the same problem. This can take weeks, possibly, as you'll want to add a plugin and give it a few days to see if the problem is still existing. If the problem still occurs with no extra stuff loaded, I'd turn to your GSP to see if they are having any problems on their end. -Richard Eid On Thu, Apr 23, 2009 at 5:20 PM, MAGUS wrote: > well.. > > i saw this article, but dont resolved the problems. sometimes a lot of > clients are disconnected from server at once (and others users doesn't > disconnected). sometimes this problem occurs when client try connect (ou > reconnect) to server. > > i'm using HLDS with metamod + amxmodx.. > > but, if problem are in my host, where is the problem? connection? plugins? > > - > rody > > 2009/4/22 Richard Eid > > > https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5057-FVCM- > > > > Have you seen that support article yet? Re: [hlds] error: reliable channel overflowed
well.. i saw this article, but dont resolved the problems. sometimes a lot of clients are disconnected from server at once (and others users doesn't disconnected). sometimes this problem occurs when client try connect (ou reconnect) to server. i'm using HLDS with metamod + amxmodx.. but, if problem are in my host, where is the problem? connection? plugins? - rody 2009/4/22 Richard Eid > https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5057-FVCM- > > Have you seen that support article yet? Hello, Looks like my players are having trouble finding my servers when they want to play survival while using the searchkey, though it seems to work fine for versus games. sv_gametypes is set to "coop, versus, survival" Any ideas?
