Re: [hlds] Server Key
I personally don't want people connecting to my servers via IP's or hostnames. I would like to see search_key become a little more friendly, but I think that is *the best* way to connect to steam community servers. I have 8 servers for our community, I don't want them having to force_dedicated_server because what if that's full? All 8 are configured identically, you should just have to automatically pick an available one.. Hi, Was trying to restart my L4D2 server and it started downloading the l4d2 demo content.. Checked the srcds_run script and saw: if test "$GAME" = "left4dead2"; then DEPOT_NAME="left4dead2_demo"; fi I changed that back to left2dead2 and it seems to all be working again, is this intentional?
