It's pretty much hit or miss.. I got one server 24/7 that runs great.. I got a vanilla server that runs valve maps that crash.. The only crashes I have seen so far on my server have happened on ctf_doublecross. Dunno if it's a coincidence or not. I performed the update and have the following info; 19:56:16 Protocol version 15 Exe version 1.0.7.5 (tf) Exe build: 13:51:40 Dec 16 2009 (4057) (440) Exe version didn't change but the date did. I noticed on the linux servers i have the version was updated. When i try to join my win servers it says i have different class tables as well. It is slower than dialup... At least update your Linksys firmware on your 10/100 router ( that we know is a hub and not a switch). May be a QOS update that may speed things along a tad more. Also, please go ahead and send the patch for this update that we know will come out in a few hrs from now.
