UPS equipment has a limited uptime. Depending on the amount of servers connected on the UPS. Yes, it would keep the servers online a bit longer, but can you tell the storm to lie down within that period? Is your server on an UPS? (ofcourse you will say yes, cause we can't verify it. But i'll bet that most of the serveradmins here don't have an UPS running. Neither do we). These are things that could happen to everybody. I have no swap being used, the server is regularly rebooted to clear any memory that is not released (although as mentioned I have spare) and all servers except literally the ones to run the server have been stopped (but as mentioned CPU usage is never over 60%, and system use is negligable) I am totally confused as to why the fps will not stay above 100 when the hardware is clearly not struggling!! Thats strange. Our HTML windows motd still works. It's only an img src="blah.gif" but it does work. Validate your code?
