Re: [hlds_linux] [hlds_announce] Counter-Strike: Source Update Available
Yeah, updating now. =) Still, if I have to login while on the road to fix 4 systems that broke due to a completely botched Linux deploy (automated scripts to promote deployed code), I get to post and thank VALVe for their thorough Quality Assurance. =) I can't remember this (an udpate) breaking on Windows but not on Linux. Might have happened, but I sure don't remember it. I still honestly do wonder if VALVe actually tests against Linux and if so, what platforms. It's quite clear they need to add more platforms to their test cases. -tsuehpsyde On Wed, Aug 26, 2009 at 10:06 PM, Romain Pierre wrote: > Hi, > > Have you updated ? You can't use address translation? I don't know very well IPv6 but I think you can use IPv4 locally and IPv6 on the cloud. You can watch in this way. Hi Romain, Problem here is that hoster will be forced to use pure IPv6 networks. I know this did not happened in the next 1 or 2 years, but the switch to IPv6 will come and Valve should be prepared.
