Yeah, I see it now, but I updated my servers on the 24th, and had reports of CSS content being downloaded by clients as early as the 21st. Ripped from Steam site ... Half-Life 2 Pre-Loading Phase 4 September 27, 2004, 6:12 pm · valve The fourth phase of the Half-Life 2 preload begins to Steam account holders today. The moment the game is made available, those who have pre-loaded and purchased the game via Steam will be ready to start playing. Last week, VALVe released the remaining CSS content, minus the BSP files (And probably a few others, but a good chunk of it). To my knowledge the release was unannounced, but clients downloaded around 500 megs more material, as did the servers. This was Counter-strike Source Shared Content version 11. (Or maybe it was 10.. I highly doubt Alfred is going to comment on something here that Vavle isnt commenting / made public yet. What is of interest is what steps do we need to take to have servers ready to go on the moment of release. Will the beta cs source update to the full version or do we need to be ready to start again.
