Using KPrinter I have the problems with various other pdf, but I think all pdfs are from the same source (physics department of my university) so it may be a problem with the pdfs. But no other pdfs I have, have such small margins. pdfs with more usual margins I print using KPDF and that works fine. I think the problem is the combination of the KDE printing system and very small margins in a document and the HP printer driver. (it used to work with another printer/driver). Florian, Are you still having a problem with this? Are you able to print other pdfs? Re: [Hplip-help] Empty page after each print job & save margin settings
Florian, You may need to ask the KDE forums or your specific distro's forums for help on setting the default margins in kprinter. Usually these are set in the application of which you are printing from. We don't have any specific information on disabling the user defined margins in kprinter. Sorry I couldn't help more. [Hplip-help] Empty page after each print job & save margin settings
Hello, I'm using the HP PSC 1610 with CUPS/KDE. After each print job the printer prints one empty page. How can I omit that? Another question (don't really know if it's rather KDE related): In the KPrinter dialoge I can set the margins. Default is user defined margins with every margin set to 0. I want to disable user defined margins. It works for on print job but it is not saved. I've found no option in CUPS to change that. How can I change it permanently?
