[hugin-ptx] Some typo

2020-11-01 Thread Cristian Marchi

Hi, while translating new strings I've found some typo:

PanoOperation.cpp row 603 e 1277
"...have to have to same size" I think it should be "...need to have the
same size"

Preview_frame.xrc row 1193
"You have selected a fisheye as lens projection. It may necessary to mask
out unused black space in the input image. Should the mask/crop tab now
opened, where you can do this?"

I think it should be something like:
"You selected fisheye as lens projection. It may be necessary to mask out
unused black area in the input image. Should the mask/crop tab be opened
now to do this?

I'm not a native speaker so my suggestions can be wrong anyway

[hugin-ptx] Re: Trouble assembling building pictures

2019-04-21 Thread Cristian Marchi
Hi Dino,
I'm from Italy too...attached you'll a find a pto file. Save it in the
folder with your three images and open it in Hugin. Check the fast preview
window and you'll see the results.

For details on how I made it, check this tutorial:
http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials/Mosaic-mode/en.shtml

Ciao

[hugin-ptx] New fb page for hugin

2019-02-02 Thread Cristian Marchi
As Google plus service will be shutdown with the Hugin official page,
I've created a official facebook page for Hugin (I can't find an

Here is the link: fb.me/hugin.panorama/

If someone wants to contribute on maintaing it, please drop a line so I
can add you as admin. It would be a good thing if at least one of the
Hugin devs could be added as admin.

Thanks, and if you have facebook, please like the page and spread the word!

Thanks for the help but I'm still stuck... I started from scratch by
freshly cloning the hugin repo, I made only a small modification to a
single string in the it.po file, then commit and then push all while in
"default" branch.
I got the message above: abort: push creates new remote branches: 2014.0!

If I run hg merge i got this:
aborted: branch 'default' has one head - please merge with an explicit rev
(run 'hg heads' to see all heads)

[hugin-ptx] Possible Hugin bug in control points tab

2013-09-28 Thread Cristian Marchi
I'm using Hugin from git (compiled yesterday) and I have a problem when
viewing control points in the control points tab.
The following image is right and shows cp between image 5 (on the left) and
6 (on the right)
http://imgbin.org/images/15202.png

This image is wrong and shows the same cp between image 6 (on the left) and
5 (on the right)
http://imgbin.org/images/15203.png

Same thing happen when displaying an image with a lower number on the right
than what is on the left. The screenshots are taken under ubuntu 12.10
64bit but the same happens also under windows XP 32bit with the 2013 rc1
release.

Is this a bug?

[hugin-ptx] Re: Aligning multiple sequences of images from a tripod

You need to create the complete panorama the first time and save the pto
file. Next create a new project, load all the images of the new panorama,
select "File->Apply Template" and load the previously saved pto file. It
should apply all previous settings to the new images without creating new
control points.

[hugin-ptx] Error when installing a local compiled Hugin deb on Ubuntu 12.04

2012-08-20 Thread Cristian Marchi
I've just upgraded to Ubuntu12.04 and I'm trying to re-setup a Hugin build
environment. I created a deb package as per instructions in the wiki but
when I run "dpkg -i hugin..." I get the following error:

Unpacking hugin (from hugin-2012.1.0.5964.local-Linux.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing hugin-2012.1.0.5964.local-Linux.deb (--install):
corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Processing triggers for man-db ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 hugin-2012.1.0.5964.local-Linux.deb

Any idea on what is the problem?
Thanks

[hugin-ptx] Re: GUI overhaul

2012-05-07 Thread Cristian Marchi
Same problem for me when changing user experience level:
hugin:
/home/cristian/unstable/hugin/src/hugin/hugin.hg/src/hugin_base/panodata/Panorama.h:211:

virtual const HuginBase::SrcPanoImage&
HuginBase::Panorama::getImage(std::size_t) const: Assertion `nr <
state.images.size()' failed.
Annullato

 I'm on ubuntu 11.10 64bit.

[hugin-ptx] Re: morph-to-fit and Hugin with ptomorph

2012-04-21 Thread Cristian Marchi
I've just compiled the svn version of the Panotools and tried to test
ptomorph by running the following command to an existing pto file of a
Huign project with stitching errors (360x180 handheld pano made of 16
photos):
~/unstable/compilati/panotools/bin/ptomorph -p 2 -o morphed.pto
IMG_0479-IMG_0494.pto

I've got the following error:
Can't locate object method "InitTrafo" via package "Panotools::Script" at
/home/cristian/unstable/compilati/panotools/bin/ptomorph line 27.

Thanks for any help

[hugin-ptx] segmentation fault when stitching

2008-11-25 Thread Cristian Marchi

I hope this is the right place to ask but tonight I've built Hugin
(version 0.8.0.3563) on my ubuntu Intrepid 64 bit and tried it.

All went well until I press the "stitch now!" button. Here is the output
I get

nona -z PACKBITS -r ldr -m TIFF_m -o neve -i 0 /tmp/huginpto_VVm2Mx
nona -z PACKBITS -r ldr -m TIFF_m -o neve -i 1 /tmp/huginpto_VVm2Mx
nona -z PACKBITS -r ldr -m TIFF_m -o neve -i 2 /tmp/huginpto_VVm2Mx
enblend --compression NONE -f5114x3948 -o neve.tif neve.tif
neve0001.tif neve0002.tif
Loading next image: neve.tif
Loading next image: neve0001.tif
Creating blend mask: 1/4 2/4 3/4 4/4
Optimizing 1 distinct seam.
Strategy 1, s0: 1/4 2/4 3/4 4/4
Strategy 2: s0
make: *** [neve.tif] Segmentation fault
make: *** Cancellazione di `neve.tif'

Then I get a warning that ask to report the problem on sourceforge.
I tried different images and different paths but I always get this message.
What could be the problem?

Thanks

Cristian

[hugin-ptx] Manual translation

2008-10-19 Thread Cristian Marchi

Hi, I'm new to the list and I would like to thank you for this awesome
software that makes even more intersting the art of photography.
I really would like to offer my help to translate the Hugin manual in
Italian so I need to know firstly if someaone is already working on it
and, secondly, how can it be made if it could be made.

Thanks!
Cristian
