Check if you have php-mysql installed on your machine, this provides mysql.so
library for PHP to connect to database. If this is installed then check through
your web server if your PHP has mysql_connect() function vailable. A simple PHP
script below can be used to do so.

Copy this is a test.php file and call from your web server at your own risk.

[ilugd] FTP client with SSL/TLS support
Hi, Is there a Command line utlilty to connect to FTP server with SSl/TLS support. I am looking forward to write a script that connects to FTP server over SSL from my machine and gets files. I will then cron this script. But I am not able to find the command utlility for it. SFTP uses ssh port 22 what I am looking for is something that uses FTP with SSL on port 21. [ilugd] URL Filtering with Squid
Hi, Can somebody please suggest good Filtering tool to be used with Squid. I need to block access to Porn material ( sites and downloads ). Checked DansGuard site , but the license says its not free for commercial use. I am not sure about performance of Squidguard can somebody comment on this. Or any better option / Links available? Hi, What I understand is that you are not able to deliver mails to domain internal.mydomain.com configured locally. If this is a local domain, that is mailbox for this domain is on same server then you do not need DNS. Check following control files 1 rcpthosts file should have entry for this domain so that your qmail can receive mails for this domain 2. Either locals or virtualdomains file should have entry for this domain so that qmail can deliver mails locally for this domain. 3. confirm qmail and qmail-smtpd service is working fine. 4.
