[ilugd] ILUG Atyachar [On Topic]

2010-08-14 Thread Nishant Prakash Kashyap
Dear Members,

I'm myself is a supporter of FOSS. It is about a sad during last year. As
usual i was browsing and doing my usual stuff on the internet and visited a
domain registration site.

While looking for a good domain for me, just checked for *ilug.in* and *
ilug.org.in* and to my astonishment I found these domains free and purchased
it. The first thing came to my mind was, there are lakhs of FOSS supporters
in India and then how the hell this domain was available. This domain is a
matter of national pride for any genuine Linux supporter. And on my research
I found that most of them(not all and i'm not targeting anyone) advocate
about FOSS but in reality no one really supports the real cause and we all
use it only for personal gains including me.

Members may not reply as I know this is Off Topic and will not lead us to
anywhere.

2010-08-14 Thread Nishant Prakash Kashyap
dear Narendra,

i know you will opt for any ways to take revenge, coz i dont acknowledge
you... grow up baby.

people who try to sail on two boats at a time, get drowned easily...
sorry, for you it is not two boats, its multiple boats...

by the way, why are you so irritated... khisyani billi khamba nooche

hmmm, chalo, jaane do...

Lets have a Technical Fight for the good of FOSS... I Challenge you...

Lets venture into something which is Free for all FOSS
users/developers/aspirants, without any charge and something really good

let me come down a little, at least make one decent Website for FOSS
aspirants with all the bells and whistles of a commercial site and not
something like a school project.

If you accept the challenge, the time is one/two month(s) from now, if you
dont, it is assumed you surrendered and you are also one of those who
lecture a lot about FOSS but when it comes to spend from you own pocket your
say,...ohh there is a call, my mummy is calling me.

I disagree with your statement. It will hardly take few weeks and we'll see
usage of Rupee Font everywhere in India.
Very very soon, all the newspapers itself will start using this font to
represent our currency, leave alone other internal peer to peer
correspondence of communications between individuals, offices,
establishments, etc.

even kandalaya.org needs a revamp along with our
constitution. Its ugly looking boring site which has not been updated from
last 6 years i believe.

One day, FOSS will not exist in India, because one day some politician will
make take it as revolt and say FOSS is anti-constitutional after having
sweets from proprietary software vendors. We will not be able to defend it
as it has nothing to do with Linux in India. Afterall we all are techies and
not Politicians, leave alone being a responsible citizen of India.

2010-07-06 Thread Nishant Prakash Kashyap
Dear All,

I've decided to run a Website dedicated towards Information Technology. This
site will be updated on weekly basis and later turn into daily. *Suggestions
are requested* and association is most welcomed.

I'll require atleast two volunteers from each metro city and obviously
people from other cities & towns are most welcomed to be part of it.

The site is named *CentralChronicle.Info* along with .net and .org pointing
to the same site.

You may use "Zarafa". This particular product can be used with posfix and
has the feature of keeping only single file(attachment) in Mail Server if
particular mail is sent to multiple recipients.

I've tried the product, its really good. It also has Z-Push i.e. Mobile Push
technology.

Re: [ilugd] Postfix sends all mails to SPAM

2010-06-19 Thread Nishant Prakash Kashyap
Naresh,

Get your basics right first. There are multiple reason for this and few are
directly related to Postfix. If postfix is open relay, it hardly takes 2-3
days for the mail server to get blacklisted.

By the ways, as other other has already mentioned, below are the reason that
can cause the issue.

1. Blacklisting in RBL/DNSBLs Server (use robtex.com to check)
2. Absence of PTR Record.
3. Wrong SMTP Banner.
4. Subnet may be in a pool which has mail server as open relay server (very
common).
5. SPF Record.
6. The Server may be a real source of SPAM (quite possible that you are
really spamming).
7. Proper CNAME if A Record is something else.
8. Opt In and Opt Out option for Subscribers if you are using the mail
server for Email Marketing.
9. For complete consultancy and solution, user needs to pay me [Commercial].

Nishant Kashyap

Now LUG is being used for personal interest obviously doing business is
no crime, but using a forum (which is a kind of NGO) for personal interest
... does it sounds good.

I'm ready to provide the service for less than the "bare minimum cost" .
Schools you can mail me also ...

Connecting over WAN connection is also legal. But make sure that any of the
locations should not terminate/connect to PSTN.

Terminating VoIP to PSTN is still illegal here. But people can use it(ATA
Adaptor) if suppose they have taken a US/Canada VoIP Connection and will use
it an telephone.

Connecting to IP-PBX is also not allowed and obviously inter-connecting to
PSTN is illegal as already said earlier.

Re: [ilugd] Protecting my copyright

2010-03-03 Thread Nishant Prakash Kashyap
Hi All,...

If i invent a thing using air water and sunlight. that does not mean my
product should be free as i got air water and sunlight free from the mother
nature. If i develop a software or modify a software initially developed by
someone, it is a intellectual property. The initiator may be willing to give
his ideas as donation, but then there are lots of people who dont want to
give their work as free... and there is nothing wrong in it.

Redhat, Mandriva Enterprise Linux, SLES Are these things wrong NO
and no no coz they provide service for the amount they charge...

Let me see if anyone is competent enough to be a real FOSS Guy, please
come to me, i've lots of student who wants to have a career by passing RHCE
and Zend PHP Certification... is there anyone who can offer these free of
costatleast the teaching part...

I'm a non-veg, and fish is freely available in sea, then why does fisherman
sell me Fish and does not give it free of cost, afterall he got it free, did
he cultivate it ?... why is the government not blocking them as they are
selling which they get free unlike Chicken.

So, the moral is that, if someone spends time to develop something, he has
the right to give it for free or attach a price tag to it.
