hi ,
the redhat 9.0 disks 4,56 has only source rpms .So if want to install
any software frmo source you can simply do it using those disks.
But if you want to install the software which u think u missed out then
start the add/Remove applications from the menu and insert in your first
cd i.e,cd 1 of redhat. Then it will start the installation process and
ask you to insert the appropriate disks..
Regds,
Pankaj

thanks pankaj for the help, i need to go a long way before getting into the
source of softwares

These 3 iso's are shrike's SRPMs discs. They contain the source rpms of all
the packages included in the distro. Unless you want to compile the packages
from source, you wont need them. Anyways, those sources are outdated now. You
better get fresh source packages or available patches.
Remember that installing the source rpms take up a lot of space.
browsing the CD contents will show you lots of *.src.rpm packages. installing
those rpms with `rpm -Uvh` is enough. They should get installed somewhere
under /usr/src/ (check for a folder named SRPMS).
