keliatannya lebih mahal. wkt survey mo beli laptop smpt jg coba liat2  merk tsb.
  satu lagi yang AXIOO kalo ga salah merk nya.. itu juga udah sempet  nyoba. 
tapi yg axioo itu, saya ragu karena bisa dijual murah sekali.  sekitar 4 jutaan.

  at least lebih baik dr fren yang saya coba baik via infra-red, ato kabel 
DKU-5.
  it was terrible.. dan mgk saya merasa jauh lebih mahal. saya beli  perdana 
fren dengan bonus pulsa 10rb rupiah, dan habis setelah saya  buka yahoomail  
dalam wkt dibawah 10menit.

Sebelumnya saya ucapkan terima kasih bagi yang udah
kasih masukan,...

Di tempat saya kerja, ada temen minta tolong bagaimana
agar komputernya dia  tidak bisa dimasukin flashdisk
usb, jadi kalau mau mengunakan usb harus pake
password, maklum komputernya di sering di pake untuk
bersama sehingga sering kena virus,...dan sering juga
ia format,...

nah agar temen-temen kantornya tetap bisa pake
komputernya dia,...tapi untuk mengunkan flashdisk
harus mengunakan password

karena saya blom pernah coba maka saya ngak tahu
caranya,...
bagi temen2 ada yang bisa membantu

Note : 
Port USB di disable dari Bios temen saya ngak mau,...

Pake user account di control panel --> properties => group 
membership==>others trus pilih (kalo XP)..SOL
kalo selalu minta password biasanya bukan satu domain trus akses jaringan 
lambat (nggak nyambung cuma terjadianehhh), terakhir coba cek security 
sama servicenya...

Kenapa salah satu user gw saat masuk ke LAN selalu minta confirmasi 
password dan username ya?
Padahal waktu itu udah gw remember passwordnya.
satu lagi, gimana cara kita mau ubah sett acses suatu client yg udah 
terlanjur kita sett dg acses administrator ?
bisa nggak kalau solusinya tanpa delete user tersebut dan add kembali user 
tersebut dengan profile yg baru...?
soalnya malas backup profillnya nih hehe.

Saya sih pakai Option GlobeSurfer Icon. Harganya memang mahal, 3 jutaan,
tapi saya butuh yang koneksinya USB. Yang biasanya agak murah itu yang PC
Card atau produk bukan dari PT. MLW, seperti Huawei.

Bukan ngga pake, tapi ngga bisa pakai lagi, konek tapi bengong terus :-) 

Tapi enaknya pakai CBN. Punya satu account, bisa untuk Mobile XL, CDMA via
Fren/Starone, dial-up modem, dan hotspot. Pilihan koneksi jadi lebih leluasa
:-)

Buat rekan IT semua,gw numpang nanya ya :-).
Kenapa salah satu user gw saat masuk ke LAN selalu minta confirmasi password 
dan username ya?
Padahal waktu itu udah gw remember passwordnya.
satu lagi, gimana cara kita mau ubah sett acses suatu client yg udah terlanjur 
kita sett dg acses administrator ?
bisa nggak kalau solusinya tanpa delete user tersebut dan add kembali user 
tersebut dengan profile yg baru...?
soalnya malas backup profillnya nih hehe.

Buat teman2 yg kantornya pernah didatangi BSA mohon sharringnya, dan juga ada 
beberapa pertanyaan dari saya :
1. Apakah ada surat pemberitahuan dahulu sebelum mereka datang ?
2. Teknis pemeriksaan seperti apa ? (ex: one by one ke setiap PC ?)
3. Apakah ada sanksi langsung yang dikenakan bila ada software unlicensed yg 
terinstall ?

Pls share ya, tapi bila memang sudah pernah dibahas pls beri saya threadnya.

Untuk menghilangkan command prompt pada XP adalah dengan mengetikkan 
gpedit.msc pada kolom Run command.
Setelah muncul window Group Policy -> User Configuration ->Prevent 
Access to the command prompt (Default -> Not Configured)
Pak David kalau ada problem Windows bisa menghubungi saya via Japri. 
(Free -> sambil belajar)

bro mbwirawan, pengalamn dari gw tentang elite adalah dulu pernah saya 
belanjain client gw 4 laptop sekaligus dg merk elite semua.alhasil 
3 dari 4 laptop tersebut cashingnya pecah semua. 
faktor perawatan pemilik sebearnya pengaruh juga sih, namun saya bandingkan 
dengan laptop client saya yg make ASUS ( udah 6th ) masih ok aja. cuman hardisk 
aja kapasitasnya kecil sama ram memory yg emang spechnya udah model lama.
tapi coba ente rajin rajin cari info ke link atau buku...kita nanti bisa 
pelajari dari segi hardware laptop tersebut.
selamat berburu laptop ya hehehhehe

Kalau mau sabar sih sebetulnya ngga terlalu mahal. Saya sekarang pakai CBN
Mobile XL, 350 ribu per bulan unlimited. Pakai modem 3G. Bandwidth yang
digaransi memang hanya setara dial-up. Tetapi kadang-kadang bisa dapat
20-30KB/sec (stabil, bukan beberapa detik) kalau lagi download file dan
dapat BTS 3G.

Lumayanlah, dial-up mobile unlimited :-)

Kalau mau yang cepat memang ada, 500 ribu per bulan, tapi kena kuota.

Memang bisa diganti-ganti ( tidak seperti PC lho... he 3x ) Pak tapi karena

cuma usul aja, kenapa gak colo di IIX aja, paling 1 jutaan, sekalian
bisa utk simpan backup. Lebih bebas euy...
Daripada hosting email di luar kalau ada gempa di Taiwan kemarin bisa

Support Telkom kurang responsif, apalagi kalau lagi down, gak bakal
bisa masuk telpon ke 147. Bandwidth Telkom sering tidak sebanding
dengan perkembangan jmlah usernya.

Jangan berharap banyak dari support 147 krn gak ngerti detail teknis,
krn mereka cuma helpdesk yg ditraining ala kadarnya. Tugas utamanya
cuma input trouble ticket ke system

= Bro The_Eye_In_The_Sky, 
Salah satu alasan saya masih menikmati 1xRTT/EVDO Fren adalah karena 
dia bisa akses VPN ke CBN yang berarti time based. Speed kalo lagi 
bagus dapatlah 10-15 KB/s (awal2 bisa 20KB/s).

Saya sempat merasakan nikmatnya ketika roadshow ke beberapa kota besar 
di Jawa... orang pada pusing nyari Internet, saya sih bisa online 
kapan saja dengan biaya 10rb/jam via Fren+VPN ke CBN... bahkan ketika 
delay di surabaya sampai 6 jam, hampir separuh waktu delay saya 
habiskan dengan browsing dan narik email... tidak terasa delay 6 jam 
hahaha... kebetulan di Surabaya sana Fren-nya secepat kilat 
(dibandingkan Jakarta hehehe)... 1MB/menit kurang lebih traffic saya 
tarik email..

Kalo layanan lain, IIRC, semuanya mengacu kepada volume based, yang 
jelas sangat expensive. HSDPA sendiri saya sudah pernah coba sekitar 2 
tahun lalu ketika masih trial (realnya sekitar akhir 2006 lalu deh 
trial dengan Indosat)... bagus, bagus banget malah... tapi dengan 
traffic secepat itu, kalo sampe2 ada worm di notebook/pc kita, hancur 
deh billing bulan depan hehehe :)

Kalo kenyataannya user yang di cabang pake email yahoo, yakenapa gak dibuatin 
aja POP3 dan internet explorernya di protect, kan jadilebih save komputernya 
thd virus ato spyware.

Saya sih instal YPOPs untuk pake outlook dgn account yahoo.com.

 

Kalo bicara ttg kualitas, Speedy udah “lebih baik dariyang dulu2”, 
Cuma yang minusnya nih masih sering ada gangguan teknis keputustiba2 tanpa tau 
sebabnya karena kita telp 147 susahnya setengah mati, trs kitatelp ke HP 
Petugas Telkom, udah masuk nada sambung trus diputusin tiba2. Petugasitu tau 
pasti dari pelanggan telkom speedy yg mao tanya gak bisa konekinternet, makanya 
putusin telp kita.

Makanya gara2 hal ini antisipasinya Kantor Anda harus adaLine telp nganggur utk 
bisa dial-up.

 

Nah sekarang tergantung Anda deh, mao murah pake Speedy tapimasalahnya spt yg 
saya kasih tau diatas. Dan kalo budgetnya besar, yaKantor Anda bisa pake ADSL 
CBN.

nah, saya masih bingung tentang account POP3 ini pak davis.

maksud bapak, jadi dicabang dibuatkan account POP3 yang bisa narik lewat 
outlook atau email client gitu?

kalo memang itu, memang dengan adanya 100 account diatas, maka cabang, 
akan ikut join dah tinggal setting di accout tersebut. jadi cabang tidak 
ada alasan untuk tidak bisa akses email pop3. (selama ini alasan mereka 
lambat karena memakai dial up).

kalo saya hitung pengeluaran internet HO dan cabang yang sampe 10 juta 
(cabang ada 14 cabang), setelah adanya speedy ini, maka pengeluaran 
internet hanya berkisar 3-4 juta perbulan. cukup drastis sih tapi apa 
worthed dengan kualitasnya?

kalo buat mail server sendiri, spek komputer yang sisa tidak mencukupi 
requirement untuk mail server pak. maklum pc lama semua dengan memori 
128 mb.

jadi mending kita bayar sekitar 800 rb pertahun sudah dpt domain 
perusahaan, hosting sebesar 200 MB, dan hanya nambah 25 rb, sudah dpt 
100 account yang terletak di server google dengan space 2 gb per account 
(quota terpisah dari quota hosting).

saya rasa, 800 rb dengan benefit segitu banyak, cukup worthed pak..

nah, saya masih bingung tentang account POP3 ini pak davis.

maksud bapak, jadi dicabang dibuatkan account POP3 yang bisa narik lewat 
outlook atau email client gitu?

kalo memang itu, memang dengan adanya 100 account diatas, maka cabang, 
akan ikut join dah tinggal setting di accout tersebut. jadi cabang tidak 
ada alasan untuk tidak bisa akses email pop3. (selama ini alasan mereka 
lambat karena memakai dial up).

kalo saya hitung pengeluaran internet HO dan cabang yang sampe 10 juta 
(cabang ada 14 cabang), setelah adanya speedy ini, maka pengeluaran 
internet hanya berkisar 3-4 juta perbulan. cukup drastis sih tapi apa 
worthed dengan kualitasnya?

maklum, masih penganut "ada uang ada kualitas" heheh

Sebetulnya Fren dulu bagus untuk Internetnya, beberapa bulan terakhir ini

Selamat Pagi Pak David Santoso.

Untuk menghilangkan command prompt pada XP adalah dengan mengetikkan 
gpedit.msc pada kolom Run command.
Setelah muncul window Group Policy -> User Configuration ->Prevent 
Access to the command prompt (Default -> Not Configured)
Pak David kalau ada problem Windows bisa menghubungi saya via Japri. 
(Free -> sambil belajar)

beberapa artikel tentang pembuatan compiler yang membutuhkan proses sampai
ke Low Language Process, pertanyaan aku apakah selain membuat beberapa modul
(e.g. Parser, Tokenizer, etc..) harus diperlukan pembuatan modul untuk
Assembly-nya, klo ada yg punya resource mohon di share ya..:).

Saya coba share.
Secara teori, koneksi data via CDMA lebih cepat di banding GSM-GPRS 
(bukan 3G lho ya).
Namun pada kenyataannya, balik lagi ke besarnya bandwitdh yang di punya 
oleh operator untuk jalur internetnya, dan banyaknya trafic yang lewat 
pada jalur tersebut.
Normalnya bila lagi mobile, saya pakai koneksi CDMA Fren via CBN (time 
base), kualitasnya jauh lebih baik di banding hanya via Fren saja 
(walaupun via CBN akhir-akhir ini terasa lambat juga).
GPRS XL atau Telkomsel saya jadikan alternatif (biayanya lebih mahal 
kalo kita banyak browsing/download karena volume base, kecuali layanan 
yang unlimited).
Dari sisi koneksi, antara handphone ataupun card modem sama saja. Hanya 
saja kalo pake handphone, koneksi anda tergantung pada batere handphone 
tsb, kecuali anda pakai kabel data yang sekaligus berfungsi sebagai charger.
Saya pake nokia CDMA seri 6 (6585, 6235), juga Fren Slimo.
Sebelum beli, coba aja browsing spec handphonenya, apakah support untuk 
data, dan juga jenis kabel datanya. Kemarin dulu saya ngubek-ngubek roxi 
cari kabel data Slimo, gak ketemu. (kebetulan hari itu minggu dan gerai 
resmi samsung tutup). Akhirnya dapet di Flexi shop (via http juga).

Kenapa gak bikin MailServer aja Pak, lebihenak Anda maintain sendiri, pake nama 
domain Persh Anda juga, drpd outsourcedari luar.

 

Yang 384KBps itu untuk Downstream nya,Upstreamnya ya 64KBPS Pak.

 

Rencananya cabang pake paket speedypersonal yang terbatas kan, Gimana coba 
andadibikinin POP3 aja utk browsing email Yahoo biar gak makan bandwidth

yang jelas, koneksi ADSL ini (speedy), nantinya akan digunakan untuk 
kegiatan internet baik itu untuk klik Bca Bisnis, maupun browsing email 
yahoo.

Kayanya untuk paket speedy, dia tidak ada account email. langkah ini 
kami antisipasi dengan menggunakan domain baru di salah satu web dimana 
nantinya akan ada account gratis dengan server google dimana masing 
masing quota per email adalah 2 gb dan account yang bisa dibuat maximal 
100 account.

jadi kebutuhan speedy disini adalah mutlak hanya kegiatan internet 
(termasuk diantaranya adalah klik bca bisnis).

nah, mengenai masalah yang sering dialami bro pbabsi (kalo ngak salah 
ejaannya bro, mohon maaf kalo ada salah eja), trus support dari 
telkomnya bagaimana? apakah real time (ngak mengharapkan real time 
seperti CBN / Indonet sih) atau sering diping-pong kaya waktu nanya 
program ini ke 147?

mengenai speednya bagaimana? apakah benar yaitu 384 kbps?

sorry kalo banyak nanya, soalnya masih ragu tentang layanan murmer ini, 
tapi direksi mintanya begitu detail.

Merk SMC lumayan, kantorsaya pake ASTECH dengan 4 port RJ45 juga bagus.

btw, waktu saya nanya ke supplier, kok dibalik tanya ya pak, mau yang 4 
port apa 1 port. itu maksudnya bagaimana ya pak?

soalnya modem yang ada sekarang, cuma ada 1 RJ45, dan RJ45 tersebut 
masuk ke dalam hub.

kalo tergantung routernya, berarti kaya beli kucing dalam karung dong ya 
pak.. hehe

Sampai saat ini pun Speedy sudah lumayanspeednya, Cuma seperti kyk [EMAIL 
PROTECTED] Speedy bisa sering putus, itu bener. Dan terlebih lagi kalo sudah 
putuskita telp 147 nadanya sibuk terus . Pernah saya tungguin nada tunggunya 
sampe ½jam lebih masih belom ada yang respon.

Jadi kesimpulannya ada ditangan Anda saja.

Kalo memang Kantor Anda nuntut biayaoperasional lebih murah, ya mending pake 
Speedy ini tapi Anda musti sedia Linetelp untuk Dialup kalo2 linknya putus.

Untuk monitoring penggunaan dicabang, sebenernya samasaja kan yapak? 
tinggal masukkan username and passwordnya, trus muncul kan?

SMC pemain lama pak.

Kalau dibandingkan dengan merk lain nggak kalah kok.
Malah ditempat saya pakai Rouer dan Switchnya sudah 6 tahun lebih dan bagus.
Untuk fasilitas justru yang ada di SMC belum tentu ada di merk lain pak.
Tapi memang kalau soal kehandalan ya berbeda jika dibandingkan dgn merk sperti 
3com / cisco he 3x...

4 Port atau 1 Port maksudnya begini pak.
1 Router dia memiliki keluaran 1 Port Swith atau 4 Port Switch. Itu aja sih 
pak. ( Dengan Out 4 Port bapak bisa sambungkan ke switch / Hub ke PC langsung 
dll )
Kalau masukannya Port RJ45 cuma ada 1.

Makanya sebelum beli kan bisa lihat di webnya dulu pak fasilitas yang ada di 
dalamnya apa aja.
Kalau saya kadang hbs liat di Wen saya minta trial dulu, cocok baru deh saya 
beli.
Nggak cocok tuker yang lain he 3x...jadi nggak beli kucing dalam karung Kecuali 
merk 2x tertentu yang nggak bisa trial dulu

yang jelas, koneksi ADSL ini (speedy), nantinya akan digunakan untuk 
kegiatan internet baik itu untuk klik Bca Bisnis, maupun browsing email 
yahoo.

Kayanya untuk paket speedy, dia tidak ada account email. langkah ini 
kami antisipasi dengan menggunakan domain baru di salah satu web dimana 
nantinya akan ada account gratis dengan server google dimana masing 
masing quota per email adalah 2 gb dan account yang bisa dibuat maximal 
100 account.

jadi kebutuhan speedy disini adalah mutlak hanya kegiatan internet 
(termasuk diantaranya adalah klik bca bisnis).

nah, mengenai masalah yang sering dialami bro pbabsi (kalo ngak salah 
ejaannya bro, mohon maaf kalo ada salah eja), trus support dari 
telkomnya bagaimana? apakah real time (ngak mengharapkan real time 
seperti CBN / Indonet sih) atau sering diping-pong kaya waktu nanya 
program ini ke 147?

mengenai speednya bagaimana? apakah benar yaitu 384 kbps?

sorry kalo banyak nanya, soalnya masih ragu tentang layanan murmer ini, 
tapi direksi mintanya begitu detail.

Pak Denis,

Saya dulu pakai Router Merk SMC
Nah di dalamnya ada settingan untuk atur bisa koneksi Internetnya jam berapa 
aja.
Ini otomatis. Contoh internet hanya bisa dipakai hanya sampai jam 17.00 begitu 
lewat jam 17.00 internet nggak bisa dipakai.
Dan settingan ini bisa per IP Adress.
Berhubung sekarang udah pakai yang unlimited ya dilepas aja he 3x.

Jadi mungkin bisa pakai ADSL Modem yang disambungkan ke Router SMC ( router 
yang lain harus dilihat dulu apakah ada fasilitas ini )

Untuk Speddy lain tempat bisa lain hasilnya pak.
Karena tergantung dari jalur telkomnya trus router ( Router lama atau baru, 
namanya lupa he 3x...) di telkomnya.
Kalau kita dapat pas yang jalurnya jelek hasilnya jadi jelek juga he 3x.

Semenjak disaster internet int’l yangdiTaiwan itu, Speedy kyknya 
mengalami peningkatan deh disegi speed-nya. KataInformasinya sih Bandwidth link 
internet int’lnya 2,4GBps.  

Saya rasakan lebih cepet, pagi2 aja sayadownload speednya bisa 60Kbps/sec, dan 
kalo siang atau sore bisa 23kbps. Lumayancepet kan.

 

Kalo Anda telp CS Telkom sibuk terus mahitu biasa, Anda telp 147 aja susahnya 
setengah mati, makanya harap maklum deh.

 

Tapi musti hati2 Pak,mungkin Anda bisa monitoring penggunaan Internet dikantor 
Anda, gimana dengandicabang2…. Bisa2 over quotakalo gak dimonitoring. 
Kalo bisa Anda setting utk batesin penggunaannya selamajam kerja aja, belom 
lagi kalo kena virus

unlimted)

paket 200 kita ambil untuk keperluan kantor cabang saja yang notabene 
pemakaian internet dibawah 30 jam perbulan.

1,3 juta betul karena kita memakai provider lain seperti CBN dan lain 
lain. makanya kita tertarik dengan paket ini.

nah, bagaimana dengan kualitasnya? soalnya kayanya program ini sedang

Coba bagi pengalaman yah...
Saya juga pernah nge-format HD, tapi gak sngaja, nyoba beberapa program 
recovery, yang paling berhasil buat saya sih program yang namanya 'scavenger', 
hasil download. Smua file kembali ke normal.
Sebagai tambahan, sebaiknya HD yang di/ter-format, jangan di isi apapun, supaya 
data/file2 tetep utuh, gak ada yang ketimpa.

file phpnya ngeback up jadi 2.Yang satu Folder Apache(c:/apache) dan yang
satunya lagi Folder PHPTriad(c:/PHPTriad).Kamu jangan takut pada seluruh
file baik itu di folder htdoc maupun folder data pada my sql.Karena seluruh
data akan ter Backup secara otomatis saat kita menguninstall pd folder
PHPTriad.Semoga berhasil.>!!!

SEATTLE - Microsoft Corp. released an emergency security patch 
Tuesday to plug a hole in several versions of Windows - including 
Vista, which the software maker has touted as its most secure 
operating system ever.

Microsoft was so worried about the hole - which allowed hackers to 
break into personal computers and install malicious software - that 
it pushed out the critical security fix a week ahead of a regularly 
scheduled update.

The Redmond-based software company told customers last Thursday about 
a vulnerability in ".ani" files, which are used to change the cursor 
into an hourglass while a program works, or into a dancing animal or 
other animation on specially designed Web sites. Security experts 
said the hole was actively being exploited by hackers to install 
keystroke-logging programs.

Ken Dunham, director of the rapid response team at iDefense, the 
research division of VeriSign Inc., said a group of Chinese hackers 
was using the security hole to steal and sell log-ins to the 
popular "World of Warcraft" multiplayer computer game.

Microsoft said it has known about the vulnerability since December.

Users surfing the Web were the first targets, security experts said.

The Microsoft patch "will be a significant milestone in this attack," 
Dunham said. However, as businesses take time to test and implement 
the patch, and consumers delay downloading it, hackers will still be 
at work.

Customers whose Windows computers aren't set to automatically install 
critical patches can download the security update, MS07-017, from 
Microsoft's Web site.

Lha kok notebook dibanding desktop all in one?
Mungkin ibook kali. Retak? mungkin cara pake yg gak benar2.
Saya juga make ibook, sampe saat ini baik2 saja. Bahkan powebook thn
2000 juga masih ada, walaupun kondisi kesing udah gak karuan. Tapi masih
berfungsi dengan baik.

kebetulan saya beli ECS juga karena rekanan saya beli desknote dengan  merk 
yang sama. dia puas2 aja makek nya, cuma emg agak repot karena hrs  dicolokin 
ke listrik terus... info tambahan, dia beli nya thn 2005.
  
  mgk saya ga survey atau apa mengenai beli laptop kemaren, karena saya  cuma 
beli utk keperluan istri yg mobile dan hanya perlu aplikasi office  nya. paling 
ditambah aplikasi media utk denger lagu ma nonton dvd plus  wifi internet. itu 
yg paling sering dikutak-katik.
  
  utk garansi, saya cuma dapet 3 thn tuh, pak...  1 thn utk spare part, 2 thn 
utk free-service.
  
  well,, mgk karena cewek makek nya jg ati2,, jadi terawat kali ya hahaha...
  jadi saya ga tau deh kl ternyata ada bbrp hal yg perlu diperhatikan utk  merk 
ini. saya ga tau mengenai perbaikan (improvement) dr thn2 sblmnya,  pak.
  
  saya sendiri menggunakan toshiba satelite. jadi yg saya tau ttg barang yg

Berdasarkan pengalaman 5 tahun pakai ADSL :
Kualitas Speedy gak bisa dipegang, bisa aja 1 tahun bagus mendadak
bisa ngambek sampai 3 hari.
Selain itu port juga banyak yg ditutup trus sempet juga pakai user dan
  password lain eh.. masuk, jadi ragu ama securitynya.
Selain itu IP Telkom sering masuk black list jadi kalau kirim email
sering bouncing.
Jadi kalau koneksi internet menjadi kebutuhan vital pikir 2 kali utk
pakai speedy.

Bukannya promosiin ECS tapi kebetulan kantor beli 10 laptop ECS (spek
paling rendah) semuanya masih operasional, sparepart murah sekali dan
jarang rusak padahal semuanya dipakai 7 hari seminggu.
Kerusakan biasanya di IC display, keyboard, touchpad (maklum udah
hampir 5 tahun) dan utk perbaiki hanya max 125 ribu, sedangkan
notebook Compaq utk kerusakan yg sama habis hampir 2 juta.
Hampir semua laptop sekarang OEM parts, jadi kualitas hampir2 mirip.
Jangan terpengaruh omongan penjual.
