Jadi kalau kepinginnya adalah punya server, tapi dimana business plan-nya belum tahu bakal survive atau growing in the next 3 year, mending beli whitebox server yg dibuat dengan kualitas bagus. Sayangnya mungkin di Indonesia market seperti ini belum ada, kebanyakan either maen di retail buat rumah tangga, atau kalo main besar, cuman jadi principal merek luar. Simplenya begini: Anda kasih ke bos (owner/presdir) 2 pilihan: - Whitebox, harga USD 1500 - Branded, harga USD 2000 Mana yang bos pilih? Dear All, ada yang tahu banyak tentang Starter Pack Indosat 3.G ? Saya sudah punya starter pack nya (dengan nomor pasca bayar Indosat; sepertinya matrix ya; sudah aktif/registered sejak kemarin, dan sudah siap pakai (untuk nelpon sudah bisa) Saya bermaksud ingin coba apakah bisa dipakai untuk akses internet, menggunakan Laptop DELL Inspiron 1420; di mana di bagian bawah batere, sudah ada slot seperti untuk SIM Card. Pertanyaan saya; (1) Apakah betul slot SIM Card di Laptop DELL Inspiron 1420 saya ini memang bisa digunakan untuk kartu SIM Card untuk Internet Broadband, seperti Indosat 3.G ini? Atau itu untuk jenis kartu lainnya? Mohon penjelasannya.. (2) Bila saya ingin menggunakan starter pack Indosat 3.G ini untuk akses internet dengan laptop, selain kartu sim card itu, apalagi yang saya perlukan? Apakah harus dengan modem (yang kalo gak salah, dijual 900 ribuan itu ya) atau bisa dengan cara lain (selain kabel data ke HP); apakah di Laptop DELL Inspiron saya sudah ada driver/modem yang bisa menggantikan modem broadband ? Dear All... Ngasi masukan dikit nih... Gw lum pernah pakai blackberry, tapi di kantor gw dulu pakai indosat, dan lumayan tidak ada keluhan dari kalangan expatriat... Tapi gw bisa kasi perbandingan dikit nih, bukan layanan blackberry, tapi layanan 3G/GPRS dari ketiga operator diatas Kebetulan di kantor kita para engineer dikasi modem, dan dah pernah nyobain ketiganya Kalau XL sih layanan cuma cepat kalau kita pakai di Jakarta, kalau di luar kota udah megap-megap, untuk sinyal GPRS paling lemot, mungkin karena banyak provider internet yang memakai jaringan XL. Kalau Telkomsel jaringannya luas, untuk sinyal GPRS lumayan bagus lah hampir di semua kota ada (termasuk Palu dimana sinyal GPRS satu-satunya yang dapat hanya dari Telkomsel), tapi untuk kestabilan masih kurang terjaga... Kalau Indosat , jaringan 3G/HSDPA lumayan banyak (walau tak sebanyak telkomsel), tapi kualitasnya yang paling bagus, untuk sinyal GPRS biasa aja, karena masih kalah luas dengan Telkomsel, tapi jauh lebih cepat dari telkomsel, Itu pengalaman gw pakai ketiganya... Mungkin ada temen lain yang mau sharing, karena gw yakin pengalaman gw pasti berbeda dengan pengalam temen-temen yang lain... Nah kaitannya pasti ada donk dengan layanan blackberry, yang sangat tergantung kepada layanan GPRS,3G dan HSDPA dari ketiga operator diatas... Kesimpulan gw,,... Kalau hanya dipakai di kota besar seperti Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Makasar pakai XL merupakan pilihan yang bagus, karena menawarkan harga yang lumayan murah... Kalau sering keluar kota Telkomsel menawarkan coverage yang paling luas... Tapi kalau yang paling penting adalah kualitas dan kestabilan dipakai di kota-kota besar dan kota-kota kecil yang sudah ada sinyal GPRSnya, maka Indosat adalah pilihan yang bagus, walau paket penawarannya paling mahal diantar ketiganya untuk pakai unlimited (kalau gak salah 180 rebu, sementara telkomsel dan xl sekitar 100 rebuan, kalau salah mohon dikoreksi ya...) Dear All, mo tanya nih... Ada 4 PC. Katakan saja PC A, B, C, D. Koneksi internet menggunakan SP**DY, disharing menggunakan WIFI, via LinkSys WRH54G. PC B, connect menggunakan Ethernet Cable WRH54G. PC C D, connect menggunakan USB WIFI. Untuk konfigurasi IP menggunakan manual. Saat ini, PC C D... DNS-nya dikosongkan, jadi tidak bisa menggunakan internet. Sebenarnya PC C D ini hanya sekali-kali saja connect ke internet.. Misalnya, pada saat PC C D request atau mencoba akses ke internet Maka PC akan minta password untuk connect ke internet. Dear ITers, Mohon bantuan pencerahan dari ITers, saya ada DVR yang mau diremote via web. dari jaringan lokal (lan) uda bisa ditampilkan hasilnya melalui browser IE saya bermaksud mau meremotenya dari jauh, jadi dipasang koneksi internet ADSL speedy unlimited, dan uda dapat 1 ip public. setting yang udah dilakukan yaitu di DVR , kolom IP Server dikasih IP public, kolom IP gateway dikasih IP modem, IP Remote Host dibiarin kosong, IP Nat dibiarin kosong juga.
