Dear Kawan Milis IT-Center, Sebelumnya salam kenal untuk para anggota milis itcenter ini. Perkenalkan saya member baru di milis itcenter, Nama Saya udin. Mohon di koreksi jika saya ada kesalahan dalam pengiriman email. Saya mau tanya, saya kan ada pekerjaan untuk pembuatan jaringan di sebuah pesantren di jawa barat. Nah, disini saya menggunakan Access point EnGenius EOC2611P, tapi ketika saya coba konek-kan laptop saya ke access point tersebut, sinyal-nya menjadi 1 bar, padahal sebelum saya konek-kan ke access point, sinyal masih full bar. Pertanyaanya, apakah EnGenius EOC2611P kurang bagus untuk outdoor? atau jika iya, saya minta rekomendasi dari kawan-kawan di milis ini, access point apa yang bagus. Dugaan saya USB keyboard tetap berfungsi ketika waktu booting (masuk BIOS misalnya). dan hanya terdisable ketika di OS (Windows, semoga sama dgn yg sedang saya coba yaitu Win XP). Untuk enable kembali salah satu cara yg saya pakai adalah melakukan remoting ke komputer tsb (semoga Anda sudah mengenable remote desktop, atau menginstall program remoting apapun (vnc, teamviewer, Radmin, netsupport, dll)). setelah remoting Anda bisa mengedit regristry di bagian yg sebelumnya sudah Anda rubah. sebenarnya memang hanya value start di Key USBSTOR yg harus dirubah 3 jadi 4. yg lainnya biarkan saja. Approval itu acknowledgement untuk start/resume process dalam suatu workflow yang sudah disepakati bersama sebelumnya. Wajar saja approval menggunakan email, karena semua pihak yang terlibat sudah setuju akan segala macam action dan outcome dari workflow tersebut. Hanya saja menggunakan email untuk menjalankan workflow akan susah di-audit. Banyak tools lain buat business process management selain email. Jadi email hanya berfungsi sebagai notifier. Biasanya kalau di lapangan malah gak ngadepin apa2 kok lha wong perush2 gede itu semua pake vendor :) requirement tinggi, dan kadang2 gak nyambung satu sama lainkrn yg posting HH atau HR...kadang2 tanpa dicheck sama IT-nya juga... Saya sendiri gak pernah gentar ngeliat requirement2 yang tinggi tinggi walau kadang2 dalam hati ketawa sendiritapi selama kita bisa meyakinkan kemampuan kita saat interview dan juga mempunyai CV yang pas buat perush tsb, harusnya OK... saya beberapa kali interview by phone saja, trus langsung diterima kerja, gak perlu datang ke kantor, berhadapan dengan users dll (ini malah aku interview saat mau kerja di LN dan juga pengalaman saat pengen balik ke Indonesia hehe). di perush mining sekarang, saya interview 1x aja, ngobrol sama direktur dan CFO, more and less 1 jam, dah gitu ketrima. Barusan masuk disini, dipanggil bosku orang bule US yg notabene sudah 4 tahun lalu dan aku sendiri sudah ganti perush 2x, ditanyain, Win mau gabung? wah gak enak Pak, saya baru masuk disiniberarti yg ini malah gak pake macem2, gak formal2anyowis nanti tunggu bulan July win, mungkin ada bukaan, sekarang JD masih dbuat sama CIO... Pointnya apa? bekerjalah sebaik mungkin dimana kita bekerja, bangun network pertemanan yg bagus dengan semua dan achieve semua target yg diberikan perusahaan, dan buat prestasi dikantor, jangan nanggung2jangan terll ribut masalah requirements juga sih, ntah itu superman atau batman..bahkan gatot kaca ya harusnya gpp kokyg penting dilihat perush-nya apa? dicari tahu lewat teman2, kondisi perush spt apa, financial mereka spt apa, IT-nya siapa...syukur2 mengerti IT disana sebelum dipanggil interviewjadi saat interview bisa menyakinkan audiencerejeki sudah diatur sama Tuhan, kalaupun semuanya bagus, requirement bagus emailnya pake email perush, WAH kesannya, process bagus, kita suka, kita lamar mati2an, kalau memang gak jodoh dan bukan rejekinya, sampai kaki jadi kepala atau kepala jadi kaki, tetep aja gak akan lolos dan bekerja disitu :) Smoga bisa membantu. Saya sendiri gak pernah gentar ngeliat requirement2 yang tinggi tinggi walau kadang2 dalam hati ketawa sendiritapi selama kita bisa meyakinkan kemampuan kita saat interview dan juga mempunyai CV yang pas buat perush tsb, harusnya OK... saya beberapa kali interview by phone saja, trus langsung diterima kerja, gak perlu datang ke kantor, berhadapan dengan users dll (ini malah aku interview saat mau kerja di LN dan juga pengalaman saat pengen balik ke Indonesia hehe). di perush mining sekarang, saya interview 1x aja, ngobrol sama direktur dan CFO, more and less 1 jam, dah gitu ketrima. Barusan masuk disini, dipanggil bosku orang bule US yg notabene sudah 4 tahun lalu dan aku sendiri sudah ganti perush 2x, ditanyain, Win mau gabung? wah gak enak Pak, saya baru masuk disiniberarti yg ini malah gak pake macem2, gak formal2anyowis nanti tunggu bulan July win, mungkin ada bukaan, sekarang JD masih dbuat sama CIO...
