Yang namanya seorang programmer harus selalu berkembang baik Ide maupun 
kemampuan dlm membuat programnya... saingan anda bukan hanya tetangga 
belakang... tetapi global..
 kalo teknologinya ketinggalan jaman.. gimana seorang programmer bisa 
berkembang untuk tetp bersaing..
 saran gue.. ga perlu pusing pelajarin teknologi lama dan kuno yang nanti 
bakal ilang dari dunia pemrograman..
coba belajar pake teknologi baru dari awal teknologi itu berkembang... jgn 
ketinggalan..
 untuk web programming.. di keluarga Microsoft yang terbaru di kita ya cuma 
ASP.net .

baru belajar asp atau php, asp dasarnya Visual Basic

Klo liat2 sih emang jarang pake mambo,
lebih banyak pake phpnuke, postnuke, pmachine, greymater.
dan wordpress :)

klo emang mau secure dan cepat, coba wordpress relatif lebih secure

Maaf, mungkin pertanyaaan saya sebelumnya kurang lengkap. Saya ingin
web portal yang kata kuncinya "lebih secure" saja. Mungkin ada yang
tau selain mamboserver? karena tahun lalu saya pernah membaca di
majalah info linux, bahwa web script ini bagus keamanananya dan
kayaknya web script nomor 1 (untuk versi PHP+MySQL) tapi ketika
menggunakannya sekarang loadingnya agak berat...jadi banyak user yang

Yang Bagus yah .. sesuai dengan kebutuhan :)

Kebiasaan kita pada umumnya, tidak mendefinisikan dahulu apa yang di butuhkan
jadinya, kebanyakan langsung tanya produk yg bagus apa :)
padahal belom tentu bagus buat saya bagus juga buat orang lain.

so, kira2 kebutuhannya apa nih ? ato minimal .. goal nya mau buat portal 
seperti punya siapa ?

Yahoo Messenger (YIM) bisa digunakan untuk mengirimkan SMS secara free.
Tapi, ada keterbatasannya. Misal, A (sedang menggunakan YIM) mengirimkan
SMS ke B (menggunakan HP). Bila B tidak mereply SMS kiriman A tadi, maka
kiriman SMS berikutnya dari A ke B, akan di-reject oleh sistem-nya YIM.
SMS dari A tidak akan dikirimkan ke B, hingga B me-reply SMS kiriman A
tadi. Coba aja di YIM, apakah masih seperti itu "perlakuan" sistem YIM,
ataukah sudah berubah. CMIIW.
