[JAWS-Users] Script Help again
I need some more script help. This time there is no code I can provide as I am not sure how to code what needs to be done. Here is what I need to do: script a email message window to behave like it does in outlook 2003 but I do not know how to do this. [JAWS-Users] jaws lagging and skipping text?
Hello, for the last 2 days jaws has been lagging and skipping over text. Meaning, when I am reading something, or trying to edit something, jaws skips 2 or 3 characters, or 1 or 2 lines, so I will have to arrow back threw it to make sure I am reading it all. I have already done jaws repair, and that hasn't fixed the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! if flash is on the box, Open up the browser and look in tools menu in manage add-ons. Your looking in the list for shockwave, then tab and arrow up or down to enable if not done already. Your laptop should at least be able to detect the presence of a wireless network. Are you sure that they have one? If their wireless network is secure, you won't actually be able to connect without entering their network encryption key, which they would have to give you. Watching the movies in itself may be free, but I think they want you to submit your PayPal account billing information. At least, that's what I got when I clicked on the submit button (which they want you to do in order to prove you're not a robot). Has anyone been able to get Jaws to read the titles of the various epazodes on a DVD. I have 3 generations of Star Trek and I haven't been able to pick and choose. It always starts from the beginning. So far, changing the program playing the DVD hasn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! What program? I find that in Word 2003 in print layout, with Jaws 10, Jaws will skip an entire page when arrowing down through text. This happens if my cursor is on the last line of a page, I press down arrow, and Jaws skips the entire next page. Ug. Then up arrow won't move past the top of the current page. I reported this to FS as I need to do a lot of my work in Print layout. Their response was that they recommend users use Normal layout. Talk about a lame response in my opinion. And while on the topic of Jaws not reading text, same version of Word, also in print layout, Jaws 10 will not read line numbers when you turn line numbering on. Earlier versions read it fine, but Jaws 10 does not. I haven't tried outlines or numbered lists, but I expect they have the same problems with Jaws 10. The FS response was to maximize the screen, ug, which makes no difference.
