Hi all, I am using jaws 12 and am trying to use the currency

trying to convert 30 US dollars to Australian dollars. I type 30 USD

have

tried with a few other currencies such as british pounds to australian

Re: [JAWS-Users] Group List for E-mail

2010-11-15 Thread David Ferrin
If I might jump in here an offer a thought. You must understand that the
word JAWS is often in the subject line no matter what list the message is
posted to: Now consider this if you would the passage [JAWS-Users] is in the
subject line of every message posted to this list and unless somebody is
doing some sort of spoof kind of a deal this is the only place where it may
be found written exactly in this manner.

So if you were to set your message rule accordingly then the messages for
this list will always land where they are supposed to go.

Blind Tech also is a good example where there is a constant message in the
subject line which like I said makes life easy for creating reliable message
rules.

Blind Tech also is a good example where there is a constant message in the
subject line which like I said makes life easy for creating reliable message
rules.

I wonder if the popular auto sizer program that has been around it seems
almost for ever would work in Vista or windows 7. Probably not would be my
guess, somebody check it out and let us know what the results turn out to

Re: [JAWS-Users] cannot use currency converter in research it

2010-11-15 Thread Stumpy
I'm beginning to think it is a 32 vs 64 bit issue. Does anyone have a 32
bit machine that this does work on using either Jaws11 or 12? I'd like to
know.

You have to capitalize the abreviation. I've seen a few people with
problems on 32 bit machines, but I'm not sure if all 32 bit Win7 machines
are affected. I only have a 64 bit, or I'd check it out.

Thanks, now I know it's not a 32 vs 64 issue. I was curious. You can never
know too much in my opinion.

2010-11-15 Thread Stumpy
Okay, maybe it still is a Win7 32 vs 64 issue. Does anyone have a 32 bit
Win 7 machine that this works on?

Is this a 64 bit versus 32 bit issue? I'm running Win 7 Home premium 64
bit and it works with either Jaws 11 or 12 on my machine.

Hi all.
I can duplicate this problem. For Andrew yes capitalization matters.
Take care.

currencies such as british pounds to australian dollars and still
nothing. does capitalisation of the currency symbols matter?
