Re: [JAWS-Users] Itunes and jaws 12
Well with the latest build of Jaws 12 and the latest iTunes, when I search Jaws is still telling me what my last search was two days ago and that is after two days and having restarted the pc several times. Any ideas? Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS License
Thanks to everyone who answered my question about whether a single user license could be used on more than one computer. I thought it could and did know about the 3 activations thing although I confess I hadn't made the mental equation of 3 activations equals up to 3 computers. I'll need to check my count since I was down to one after my sound card had to be replaced a couple weeks ago and the short version is that FS didn't seem to have increased my count after filling out the online form and requesting an increase when I had to talk to an FS tech support person about something else and I'll really need an increase with the new computer coming soon. Thanks again, Margaret - Original Message - From: "Margaret Thomas" To: "jaws-users" Sent: Tuesday, August 16, 2011 11:34 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS License Hi All, Does anyone know if you can run JAWS on two different computers with a single user license? Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS License
Hi. You can have up to 3 pcs activated at once with a single user lisonce. You then have to reset your authorization keys to get more pcs to run a ful copy. Re: [JAWS-Users] Adding a signature in outlook express with win 2003?
Hello there; Give the following a try; To create a signature in outlook express; 1. control shift O and this will put you into options; Or, alt+t=tools, O=options, 2. control tab to the signature page, Or, shift+tab to general, and right arrow to, signature page. 3. Now tab to the new button press enter, this puts you into an edit field where you type your signature. 4. once you have completed the signature, Tab to okay button press enter. You will now be placed back into the inbox, Again you need to go into the signatures page, There's a check box that will automatically add your signature to your email messages. Hope this helps. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Janie Degenshein Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2011 11:01 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adding a signature in outlook express with win 2003? Kathy, Go to Programs and Features. Click on the Windows Update area. Right-click IE9 and you can choose to uninstall it. I'm going from memory but I think those are the correct steps. Re: [JAWS-Users] displaying the developper ribbon in word 2010
Lol, how come that always happens to me? Lol. What I mean is I post the question then I find the answer. I followed these instructions and they worked. To display or remove the Developer tab, click the Office button > Word Options . In Word 2007, the "switch" was in the Popular section, but in Word 2010 you need to click on Customize Ribbon (read more on customizing the ribbon). show-developer-tab-in-word-2010 Ensure that the box next to Developer is checked. As soon as you click OK, the Developer tab will magically appear (there is no need to close and restart. [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
Hi list. In the past. I made use of the option in Jaws. That lets you specify one of the real speak voices. To be used in the say all command in Jaws. Which then automatically switches back to eloquence for normal navigation etc. However, I turned that feature off quite some time ago. I now wish to turn it back on. I followed the steps for doing so. As outlined in the Jaws training tutorial. However, I don't seem to be able to get it to work again. I am using Jaws 12. Are the real speak voices, no longer included as part of the Jaws installation? Is that where I am going wrong? As I only have the one software CD for Jaws 12. That was sent to me. Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
no the settings are still the same as they are with 11. The only thing that's different with 12 is you have to go to your settings center under your utillities menue. I hope this helps. Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
Hello Jason, It may be that you still need to install the additional voices, which you can download from the fs site. They don't install automatically upon installation of jaws. After that, you would have to create profiles for the voices you want to use, before you'd be able to switch to them.
