Thank you so much. I will follow your directions with the bcc. I did everything suggested by several of you relative to the folders already and I am afraid the IT people must not have imported my outlook subfolders. Great. Thanks for the help. [JAWS-Users] Maximizing Windows Keystroke for Windows7
Hi All, I was reading a tutorial by David Bales at; http://goo.gl/uu3XW In this tutorial he talks about using the, Windows Key + Up Arrow keystroke for maximizing windows. Apparently in Windows7 you can invoke this keystroke on any window you want to maximize & Windows7 will maximize the window & remember the setting so you don't have to maximize it again. I haven't had a chance to try this keystroke as of yet to see if Windows7 will retain the settings even after a reboot. Hopefully someone will have more knowledge to add about using this keystroke. Hi Unless FS changed the definition as well as the location of Personalized Web Settings in JAWS 13, I believe that you should have seen the results you wanted as long as you were on the specific web page when you opened Quick Settings. Re: [JAWS-Users] Balloon Messages in Windows7, Changing the amount of time they show
Hi Vicky & Kathy, This is where I was a bit confused myself but, what you do is when you hear whatever sound you have assigned for System Notification, indicating the Balloon message, you left mouse click right there! When this balloon message pops up, this balloon message has the focus of the screen. So, you don't have to, Alt + Tab, to find it, it's right there, just press the left mouse click button! Or, from what I understand anyways, you can sometimes go to the system tray & find it, like Windows Updates, for example. Hope this helps you as much as it did me! LOL Take care. I heard an entire NPR show on radio a while back where Terry Gross interviewed some computer geek on the topic of PC security in terms of Trojans, cookies and other mal/as-ware. You don't have to believe me and what you choose on your system is your choice. What you see on screen at such sites is the least of one's troubles...it's all the sneaky behind the scenes Trojans and other mal/ad-ware that is your problem.: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Friday, March 30, 2012 2:47 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Do not use dictionary.com RE: English Dictionaries with jaws Where's the evidence to back up your assertion that dictionary.com is 'really really notorious'? yes, it is rather ad-full. [JAWS-Users] jaws 13 and form fields
hello list. i have just upgraded from jfw 11 to jfw 13 and am needing some advice on form fields in internet explorer. with jaws 11 when i had to re enter a form field which still had text in it i would position my cursor at the end of the text and start deleting the text with my back space key. the character being deleted would be announced and that was it. with jaws 13 when i go through this process and use my back space key jaws announces not only the character being deleted but also says what is left in the form field. now this is annoying because half the time the words that are left once i start deleting are fairly unrecognisable. how do i get jaws 13 to react the way that jaws 11 did in this respect? all help is greatly appreciated. regards. stephen faill For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Here you go; In Windows 7 it's under "Ease of Access". Type Ease of Access in to the search box in the start prompt. In the Ease of Access Center go to, "Make it easier to focus on tasks", and hit enter. Near the end of the options that come up is a combobox with different time settings to adjust the time that those balloons stay on screen. I adjusted mine to 1 minute which gives me enough time to find them and click on them. Hope this helps. Take care.
