Re: [JAWS-Users] ripping CD's

2014-04-22 Thread david
Hello;

Okay,
Here's the steps I take to rip a cd, or, to rip just 1, or, 3 or, whatever
your wanting to do.

1, place cd into drive close drawer,
Music should start to play, if windows media is your default player.

2, ctrl+s=stop,

3, ctrl+1=library,
Now I up arrow until I hear;
Playlist opened,

4, I now tab until I hear;
The name of the cd, and the tracks,
So, I make sure that all the track are not selected, Now, I arrow and check
the track or tracks I wish to rip, Note if you want to rip the whole CD, do
nothing, Go to next step

5, I now press ctrl+3, and tab and enter on the rip button.

Hope this helps.

you please advise me on a good hosting site that is accessible to JAWS

[JAWS-Users] The Jewish Genie

2014-04-22 Thread Mike B.
An Arab had spent many days crossing the desert without finding a source of
water. It got so bad that even his camel died

of thirst.

He crawled through the sands, certain that he was breathing his last breath,
when suddenly, he saw a shiny object sticking out of the sand several yards
ahead of him.

He crawled to the object, pulled it out of the sand, and discovered that he
had a Manischewitz wine bottle.

It appeared that there may be a drop or two left in the bottle, so he
unscrewed the top, and out popped a genie.

BUT this was no ordinary Genie. This genie appeared to be a Chasidic Rabbi,
complete with black alpaca coat, black hat, side curls, and tzitzis.

'Vell kid,' said the genie, 'you know how it voiks. You got tree vishes.'

'I'm not going to trust you,' says the Arab. 'I'm not going to trust a
Jewish genie!'

'Vott you got to lose? Looks ta me - you're a goner anyvay!'

The Arab thought about this for a minute, and decided that the genie was
right. 'Okay, I wish I were in a lush oasis, with plentiful food and drink.'

* * * * * * * P O O F! * * * * * * * * *

The Arab found himself in the most beautiful oasis he had ever seen and he
was surrounded with jugs of wine and platters of delicacies.

'Okee-dokee kiddo, vat's your second vish?'

'My second wish is that I were rich beyond my wildest dreams.'

* * * * * * * P O O F !!* * * * * * * * *

The Arab found himself surrounded by treasure chests filled with rare old
coins and precious gems.

'Okay kid, you got just vone more vish. Best you should make it a good
vone!'

After thinking for a few minutes, the Arab says, 'I wish that no matter
where I go, beautiful women will always need and want me!'

* * * * * * * P O O F!!! * * * * * * * * *

He was turned into a tampon.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY:
If you're an Arab doing business with a Jewish genie, there's going to be a
string attached.

Take care.
Mike

David:

Thank you.

Although I have converted to another faith, I was brought up in the Jewish
faith and I did find this offensive but thought it best to not protest and
just ignore something supposed to be funny but somewhat offensive.

Thanks again.

[JAWS-Users] Question about creating playlists in itunes using JAWS

2014-04-22 Thread Dujari, Prateek
Hello gang.

If I install itunes on my Windows computer, does it let me create my own
playlist, search for and add music from itunes song collection to this playlist
and then play the playlist whenever I am connected to the internet, at no cost?
by no cost I mean not having to buy music from itunes and only then be able to
add it to my created playlist. Essentially this would be like creating a
playlist, looking up songs in the program and adding them to my playlist and
then playing it whenever I want like in Spotify. Or does itunes allow a
Spotify like subscription that allows me to add their songs to playlists I
create there?

Thanks much
