Hi John,

So did you accomplish your goal? Many times listers ask for help and others
make suggestions, but when the original poster does not convey final results
of all suggestions, this prevents the list from learning and increasing the
overall pool of knowledge. Posting a final outcome is also useful in that
others can save the message for later use which cuts down on the list having

Does Google chrome work well with jaws? I find this interesting. Where my

They may only have an approved antivirus software and firewall on the

Internet Explorer
Step 1

Alt+t=tools, icon to open the Tools menu.

Step 2

Up arrow and Select Manage Add-ons from the Tools menu to display your
add-ons by type.
press enter,
Step 3

Use arrow key and Select Search Providers under the add-on type. If Bing
is the only search provider listed, you'll have to add another one before
you remove Bing. To do this, click Find more search providers. Click your
desired search provider and click Add to Internet Explorer. Select Make
this my default search provider. Restart Internet Explorer and return to
the Manage Add-ons menu.
if there's more than one
Step 4

Select Bing use tab key and enter on remove.
and click Remove.

Re: [JAWS-Users] text cloner pro with jaws

2014-05-15 Thread Karen Schrade
Hi DJ, with the latest TCP, can you scan a document, open it in word and
recognize it so you can read it with jaws? That's what I'm hoping for.
Thanks so much for your response, Karen

Hi Greg,
I have experienced the same with Internet Explorer
and different versions of Jaws, but not on every web page, suggesting to me
that the problem may be in how the page was coded.

Hello,
I have not had very good luck with JAWS and Chrome. The biggest issue
is that once you enter something into an edit field you can not hear
what you typed in so you can edit it. When you hit the backspace key
all you will hear is blank.

Hi,

Firstly, what is Specsy? (Shrug).

Secondly, may I ask what lead you to believe you were running Windows 8
since the startmenu and start screen are so different?

For all such information about your system since XP and beyond simply hold
down the windows key then hit the applications key. Then use your jaws
cursor to review the resulting screen.
