Re: [JAWS-Users] questions about JAWS Talking Cuckoo Clock Scripts

2016-05-25 Thread Sachin
HI Mario, thanks for your willingness to help. I will talk in detail
about the steps I have taken & the problems I have experienced while
installing them. Following the instructions in the readme file, I
extracted all of the files in the archive to my jfw settings directory &
entered the provided text at the end of the default.jss file. Then, when
I tried to compile the script, there was an error. “Script Load Error

Error: The compiled script file

C:\Users\Sachin\AppData\Roaming\Freedom

Scientific\JAWS\15.0\Settings\enu\cuckoo.JSB is not of the proper

Version

OK”

One cannot proceed further without completing the above mentioned steps,
however I went ahead & opened default.jkm file. Then, I searched for the
following lines, according to the instructions but I couldn’t. [Common
Keys].Without this step one can’t add hotkeys for the talking clock.
Since most of you have done it successfully, here I might have done
something wrong.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Thanks in advance.

It's already posted. Those small files don't take much at all to send up to
the server with web drive.

If anybody is interested, that is the program I use for posting files on the
web. It maps it as if it were a drive on my local system. Just a bit of
background is all.

Hi Kimsan,
You ask a great question. Press CTRL+1 to go to the calendar, and CTRL+2 to
go back to the inbox. To go from one folder to another, you have to tab to
your folders and arrow up and down and enter on the folder you want. I have
not found a short cut command for that yet LOL! As you tab around in the
win10 mail app, you will find a list of accounts and a list of folders for
the account that you are in. If you want to create sub folders, press the
applications key on a folder and go to new folder or something like that and
enter to create the sub folder with in a folder. Take care, Kimsan, and keep
asking questions. I am proud of you for reading my tutorial. You will be
able to use the win10 mail, calendar, and people apps easily, and I am going
to send more tutorials from the MS web site to you privately. If anyone else
wants the extra MS tutorials let me know. These MS tutorials will really get
you going to using these apps. Take care.

I read it quickly during work today, but is there a quick way to jump from
one folder to another, let's say like how we do in outlook with the CTRL y
method? Or, going from inbox to the calendar, or should I just accept it's
apples and oranges with the mail ap and outlook lol.

Right now, I must tab every where haha hate that...

Hi all,
Today, I wrote up a text tutorial on how I figured out how to use the win10
Mail, Calendar, and People apps using JAWS and NVDA, in case anyone uses
NVDA as a back up screen reader. Also, in this tutorial, I discuss how I
figured out how to use the Edge browser by using the NVDA screen reader with
object navigation and using the mouse. NVDA has the ability to navigate with
the mouse. This is the only way that Edge is accessible is by using the NVDA
screen reader and the mouse. You can use JAWS to access the win10 Mail,
Calendar, and People apps easily by reading everything I figured out in the
tutorial. This is a Drop Box link that you can enter on and download the
file right to your computer. Here is the link.

No, are you using IE 11? The link should take you right to the Jaws Users
OneDrive page. Go to the top of the page with control+home. Press the
letter H, for heading four times. Press the letter U, to jump by the link
heading for each tutorial. Press enter on the audio tutorial, This should
prompt the notification bar. Press ALT+n, tab to save, press enter.
Downloading the TXT files is the same way but with an extra step. Press
enter on the TXT file, Arrow down to the download menu, press enter two
times to bring up the notification bar, press ALT+N, tab to save, press
enter.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws Users OneDrive new share download link

2016-05-25 Thread Mario
Patti, when activating the link within the email, the default browser is
launched to go to the webpage, and if the browser has a add-on that
blocks ads, you will get that page asking you to login or create an
account. I know because I experienced the same issue.
you need to select and copy that address enclosed in a < and > symbol,
launch a browser that does not have any ad blocking add-on, paste the
address you copied to the clipboard previously into the browser's
address bar, hit enter, and you should be able to get to the tutorial.

Re: [JAWS-Users] A text tutorial on using the win10 apps

2016-05-25 Thread David Ferrin

Take care.

method? Or, going from inbox to the calendar, or should I just accept it's
apples and oranges with the mail ap and outlook lol.

Right now, I must tab every where haha hate that...

Thank you so much for saying that there is a way.
I really enjoy working with programs that people say are not accessible just
to show that there is some way. Rather it is practical or not, that is
another question. LOL! Thanks a lot David, for looking at it. That means a

drag but obviously it is possible. I have imported a pop email account in
the mail app some weeks ago but haven't continued working with it like you
did becausebecause to me although it is possible like I said before, it is
not practical. Never the less nice job on the tutorial.

Hi all,
Today, I wrote up a text tutorial on how I figured out how to use the win10
