Hello Deb. as of today I also haven’t received my Jaws 15 disk. I called FS this morning and they are going to drop another one in the mail. Anyway, by what date did Eric say one should have received their JAWS 15 CD? I had thought I had sent in money for an upgrade, but my JAWS 14 says there are none left. Am trying to find out if I still have an upgrade. If I can't find out will have to look through my canceled checks. Acupuncture is a jab well done. If you are using Word as the editor in Outlook 2003 then you might try using F11 to move to the hyperlink field and press enter key. Focus should be right on the field if you move to it that way. You can also try listing fields using JAWS key with F5, moving down to the hyperlink field you want to use and pressing enter key. Focus should be placed directly on the field and you can try pressing enter key. Try moving the cursor a character to the left of the link and then use right arrow to move on to the link. If JAWS reads the entire link when you move back to the cursor then the field might actually be in focus and you can try pressing enter key. I just noticed in your message that you said that you are able to activate the links using the application key, so perhaps these possible workarounds are not what you are wanting. I am not sure why JAWS wouldn't be working like it should in a HTML message. You are obviously viewing the message in HTML format as the hyperlinks work using Windows keyboard and mouse functions. When in a spell checking dialog box, the JAWS key with f7 is used for having JAWS speak the misspelled word and suggestion. Take care. Hello David, I don't know for sure but I'd hardly think that FS would do that. - Original Message - From: "David Griffith" To: Sent: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 4:25 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 9 to 10 Dear List I have just returned from a local Low vision forum where a jaws 9 user was adamant that freedom scientific were now allowing free upgrades for Jaws 9 users to install Jaws 10. Indeed he claimed that he had been able to do this last week . I thought he was a SMA holder but he said he was a standard Jaws 9 user. I was sceptical about this and I could see no indication of this on the FS download page. I suspect he purchased an SMA last year without realising. It. Whilst this does not personally affect me as I am moving from Jaws 10 to 11 this week I am interested in whether in fact there is any truth at all in this statement. There may be some arrangement for those who purchased Jaws 9 just before Jaws 10 was released? Re: [JAWS-Users] sound for end of download
Somewhere there must be a list that explains just what some of those items are that one can set a sound for. Many of them are self explanatory such as new mail notification windows maximize and so on.On the other hand some items one can assign a sound to is almost like hit and miss. Re: [JAWS-Users] changing unread message in OE.
Hello Mike , when in OE and you bring your new email in you simply can do a control A to select all and then do a control Q and you then will not hear the little un read message before your emails. - Original Message - From: "Mike & Barbara" To: Sent: Friday, July 24, 2009 11:51 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] changing unread message in OE.
