Are you using windows 7?
I am just wondering cause, window's contacts has several layers of info
pages for entrys on each person, and is saved on your computer.
Whenever I update an entry either via my email client, it's duplicated in
Window's contacts

Window's Contacts can also be synced to other devices outside of Window's.

If you have Windows 7 64-bit or higher, Goldwave 6.10.
If you have 32-bit or Vista or XP, Goldwave 5.70 is the highest version.
The Goldwave folks improved access to their help screen in 6.10 if you see

Did this happen right after the latest (other day) up-grade? Or are you
using the older version? If you are using the newer version and then the
latest up-date. This might be did not settle well? It may not be necessary
but each time the new Skype is installed I reinstall the latest scripts and
even these have been up-graded..

My Skype works fine. Though the search and the person asking to join your
contact it is a little hard to get to the profile so you can see who the
person is before Block, add or..

friends, I'm at my wits end.
yesterday morning all was well with skype.
I decided to do a search. No big deal, right? I was doing a contact search.
I suddenly have two strange things happening.
1. I get an announcement of...these scripts do not match the current
version of skype.
and, while I am in a skype window.or even arrowing up or down. I
get a series of dings, dings, dings, dings.
Now when I even go to tools and options.jaws is reading the
treeviews like this. treeview.1 of 11. Nothing like...treeview
settings 1 of 11. or skype calls.
i've tried to re-install the blasted programme and scripts until the
cows come home!. I still get the same thing.
I'm seriously thinking of getting another messenger..but What
programme will let me use my microsoft account?
I'm using jaws16 and windows 7 home.

a full size keyboard for $300. With the full size keyboard will jaws work as
does my desktop? I really do not want to learn a new keyboard. It will be
used one or two times a month.
Or would the tablet with a full size Bluetooth keyboard be better. I have
office 2010 with one install remaining.
The laptop has win 8, 4gb, 500 gbhd. I like it because it has nothing

I have to fumble through the task manager to turn off skype in order to get

Hello:

Every time I log into skype it says skype has stopped working and windows

If memory serves, I installed an update which caused that issue; however, my
memory fails me to which update that would be. Any possible resolution?

[JAWS-Users] punctuation

2014-08-25 Thread Robert Doc Wright
In earlier versions of Jaws I could open notepad and set how punctuations
are read specifically for this application and not have it affect any other
window. So, if I needed punctuations set to all for notepad and some for
everywhere else it was possible. Now, when I go to setting center for
notepad running jaws 14, the punctuation section states that I can only
change this while in default mode. Why was this changed?

Hi Robert,

I just tried this with FF 29.0 to make sure it works with your problem as
well. Following the steps also allow you to use the Jaws cursor if it's
needed at some point:
You can use the JAWS Cursor & navigate with arrow keys in Firefox after
turning off Firefox's hardware acceleration setting.
1. In Firefox, press ALT+T to open the Tools Menu and then choose Options.
2. From the Advanced options, choose the General tab.
3. Press TAB to move to the Use Hardware Acceleration when Available
checkbox. Press the SPACEBAR to clear it, then press ENTER to close the
dialog box.
4. Close & reopen Firefox.

Take care.

Did this problem start when you updated to Firefox 30? Perhaps the problem
is with the latest version of Firefox and not with JAWS.
