Hey Mandy,

Try following:

Open Jaws configuration manager, navigate to "User Options" under Set
Options menu. Tab down to "Screen Echo", and select "No Text".

Hope this helps.

Re: [JAWS-Users] upgrading to DSL

2008-09-16 Thread Zaheer Sheikh
Hey Tammy,

I used to work for Verizon DSL as a Technical support agent. Your
computer will run perfect with DSL. Most modem's configuration pages
are accessable with Jaws, and you'll be able to use phone and Internet
at the same time!

Hope this helps

Try running the setup again, and selecting "winamp light" from the
instalation wizard. Winamp light works very smooth with jaws. When the
setup is complete, you can select clasic view.

Hope this helps

Re: [JAWS-Users] can't install viTunes8Setup.exe

2008-09-18 Thread Zaheer Sheikh
Hello,

Do you have Internet explorer 8 beta installed in your computer? I was
having same problem when I had Internet Explorer 8 beta installed. I
couldnt even download it from firefox browser. As soon as I rolled
back to ie 7, I was able to download and run the setup.

Hope this helps.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Winamp playlist editor, help getting started?

2008-09-19 Thread Zaheer Sheikh
Hello Chris,

Yes, there is a way to creat a play list in winamp. Try the following:

1. Without opening winamp, locate the song.

2. Right click the song, (press the applications key).

3. Down arrow to "Enqueue in Winamp", and Press enter. This will save
the song in the winamp's play list.

4. Browse to other songs and repeat steps 2 and 3.

5. When you have selected all the songs, press alt+tab to winamp.

6. Press "x" to play the list.

x= Play the list
c= pause
v= stop
b= move to next track
z= move to previous track

Hope this helps.

Re: [JAWS-Users] accessing balloons

2008-09-28 Thread Zaheer Sheikh
Hello,

Sometimes the system trey icons are hidden, and the icons are not
accessable with jaws. To fix this, try the following.

1. Go to start menu, Settings, and press enter on "Taskbar and Start menu".

2. Press control+tab untill you hear "Notification Area".

3. Press spacebar to uncheck the "Hide inactive icons".

4. Tab down to "OK" and hit enter.

Now try accessing system trey icons by pressing insert+F7.

Hope this helps.
