Re: [JAWS-Users] Selecting an entire worksheet in Excel2010
Hello, I am having problems getting it to work in JAWS13. This is what I have found. If your worksheets have all been named something else besides sheet 1 etc... insert plus shift plus s brings up the system menu, just as if you pressed alt plus space. However if you have at least one sheet with the default name, sheet 1, the insert plus shift plus s works as expected. As an example, I have a workbook I created with three sheets. the sheets are named binomial, geometric, and poisson. If I hit the insert plus shift plus s it just brings up the system menu. However, if I add a sheet to it and then use the command, it works just fine. I am using JAWS13 and Excel 2010. Thanks, Greg W. You misread the message from Annette. This is an Excel menu, not a JAWS menu. You do not use the Insert key. It is just Control + Shift + s. Thanks Annette, this is much easier. *Don Marang* Vinux Software Development Coordinator - vinuxproject.org http://www.vinuxproject.org/ There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter. -- Dean Kamen On 12/1/2011 8:49 AM, Icewolf wrote: Hello, For some reason insert plus shift plus s brings up the system menu in Excel 2010 using JAWS13. To select all cells in a worksheet, simply press Control + a. Then you can Press Control +c to copy and go to the next worksheet using Control + PageDown. Finally paste all of the cells with Control + v. It may be easier to move or copy the worksheet, rename the sheet, or other worksheet manipulation rather than cutting and pasting. The worksheet names are located at the bottom of the window. By default, they are simply named sheet 1, sheet 2, sheet 3, and so on. There probably is a better way to do this, but I turn on the JAWS Cursor with the NumPad minus (-). Then press PageDown to get to the bottom of the window. Find the sheet name that you want to manipulate by using the Control +Right Arrow keys several times. Now simulate a right mouse click with the NumPad star (*) keys. This will bring up a context menu of actions you can take on that sheet. *Don Marang* Vinux Software Development Coordinator - vinuxproject.org http://www.vinuxproject.org/ There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter. -- Dean Kamen On 11/30/2011 3:59 PM, Icewolf wrote: Hello all, With JAWS13, how do I select an entire worksheet in Excel2010 to paste it into another sheet?
