Not sure. Maybe the colors are not correctly identified in the dialog
box?

Thanks,
Kurt

the same exact thing happened with me that happened with you, so why
would
it report brown for one red and not the other?

Okay, tried this a couple of different ways and actually ended up with
the brown when I know I selected red. So which 'red' are you using?
When I chose dark red it turned out as red but when I chose one of the
others it turned out brown. I am going off of what JAWS is reporting as
I do not have a sighted person available to confirm the color.
Does this help?

Thanks,
Kurt

Ok, so what if you are wanting the following text to be red, instead of
changing it after the fact? I should try that apps key route I keep
doing it
the long and frustrating way.

Thankyou.

went back and confirmed that it was red with insert F.

Hello:

Does anyone ever change the color of their text using word 07? I am
having
one heck of a time doing this.

The problem I am having is for example, i select red and when I go back
and
check the color it says brown!

For practical reasons, I am trying to create a document with blue, red
and
white text? or green.

If someone can make sense of this I would appreciate it.

Thankyou!

Re: [JAWS-Users] changing color of text using word 07

2011-03-29 Thread Potter, Kurtis
Yes, that is what I noticed as well. I got better results when I chose
standard.
Insert 5 will give you the colors and insert F will give you font style
along with the colors. I guess it just depends on how much information
you want.

Thanks,
Kurt

never mind, I just found my answer...
Its confusing though picking these colors. What does automatic mean?
which
is checked by the way and standard? what is that all about. I am just
trying to understand what these different items mean once I arrow down,
like
I just mentioned, standard, automatic, themes etc.
.
I might as well ask this question since I am already here don't you read
the
color with insert five? or can you also do it using insert f?
Thanks
