[JAWS-Users] skipe
Hi, So, I just got back into skype after years. I have a couple of basic questions. When there is an incoming call is it possible to click over and answer? If so, how do I do this? How do I ignore a call while I am in a call? I had more questions but forgot them lol. I'm using skipe five point five with the scripts for it and also the gw skipe. Thanks. Thanks. It allows us to use Skype and the program will speak Skype related events, such as incoming or outgoing calls and chats, contact status changes, and so on. The scripts are still nice but Skype Talking replaces, in most cases, the functionality of Skype Watch, which is now broken as of Skype 4.2. SkypeTalking uses the Skype API along with the JAWS API to speak the events. But SkypeTalking doesn't just work with JAWS; other screen readers are also supported. If no screen reader is running or you're using a screen reader that SkypeTalking doesn't support, it will work with your default SAPI5 voice. Hope this helps. Thanks in advance for the upload. Re: [JAWS-Users] skipe
Set it on whatever you use for other recording programs or for-the-people if you use that where you know your mike works. Go into your sound volume control settings and make sure you have your mike selected. Make sure you set the level fairly high to start with, say around 75%. My guess would be to try the first option first, if that doesn't work, then try the integrated microphone array first, do a test call to the echo server and see if you hear yourself. - Original Message - From: Kimsan blindgu...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2010 2:03 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] skipe Steve: It is not set on modem line emulation. OK. follow this just in case. do alt t, go to option, down to audio, tab to check microphone, tab to check sound card, tab to advance setting, press enter, check if your microphone is selected, tab again until you here sound card, select your card, tab to save, and see if it works by calling skipe to test microphone. Re: [JAWS-Users] skipe
Hi David, Please upload this to your programs page. It's free and open source. Are there any advantages over the full version as apposed to the portable offering? It works so far but the portable version does not seem to have any key strokes. Just run the skype scripts again after you have installed JAWS 11 and it will ask you which version of JAWS you want to put the scripts in. Re: [JAWS-Users] skipe and chat
Holger, If you have the scripts, and you've used windows live messanger, the hot keys are the same, IE grov accent key to repeat the last message sent or received, and alt + 1 through 0 to repeat previous messages, press these keys twice to virtualise. Hope this helps, Aiden - Original Message - From: Holger Fiallo [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Sunday, August 31, 2008 2:06 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] skipe and chat Hi, all How do you work chat in skipe?
