Re: Backporting for LTS 2.60.1 started

2017-06-14 Thread Olivier Lamy
Hi,
Really??
Reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPDY.
"*SPDY* (pronounced speedy)[1]
 is a
now-deprecated open-specification"
And
"On February 11, 2016, Google announced that Chrome would no longer support
SPDY and NPN after
May 15, 2016"
So not sure if it's really still use.
Well I agree I'm late on providing http2 support :-). I will try to fix
that in the coming weeks.

Such update does not seem to be safe and it also implies breaking
changes (SPDY support has been removed). I would vote against
backporting it.

Yes, I followed your advise and kept it rejected.

JENKINS-40693 fix
requires updating Jetty from 9.2.x to 9.4.x.
Such update does not seem to be safe and it also implies breaking changes
(SPDY support has been removed). I would vote against backporting it.

Sorry that it is not explicit, I have dropped the ball on
