JNM - Sumber Islam yang sebenarnya & Tentang Kurban Abraham

Dear all

menjadi sebuah "Kitab". Muslim menyatakan bahwa Allah mengungkapkan diri-Nya dengan
begitu jelas didalam sebuah kitab, bukan didalam pribadi Muhammad.

sering berputar balik sehingga membingungkan.
pemeluk bagian sekte Kristen.

Morning: Established Through Suffering
"After that ye have suffered awhile, make you
perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." --1 Peter 5:10

You have seen the arch of heaven as it spans the
plain: glorious are its colours, and rare its
hues. It is beautiful, but, alas, it passes away,
and lo, it is not. The fair colours give way to
the fleecy clouds, and the sky is no longer
brilliant with the tints of heaven. It is not
established. How can it be? A glorious show made
up of transitory sun-beams and passing
rain-drops, how can it abide? The graces of the
Christian character must not resemble the rainbow
in its transitory beauty, but, on the contrary,
must be stablished, settled, abiding.

Seek, O believer, that every good thing you have
may be an abiding thing. May your character not
be a writing upon the sand, but an inscription
upon the rock! May your faith be no "baseless
fabric of a vision," but may it be builded of
material able to endure that awful fire which
shall consume the wood, hay, and stubble of the
hypocrite. May you be rooted and grounded in
love. May your convictions be deep, your love
real, your desires earnest. May your whole life
be so settled and established, that all the
blasts of hell, and all the storms of earth shall
never be able to remove you.

But notice how this blessing of being "stablished
in the faith" is gained. The apostle's words
point us to suffering as the means
employed--"After that ye have suffered awhile."
It is of no use to hope that we shall be well
rooted if no rough winds pass over us. Those old
gnarlings on the root of the oak tree, and those
strange twistings of the branches, all tell of
the many storms that have swept over it, and they
are also indicators of the depth into which the
roots have forced their way. So the Christian is
made strong, and firmly rooted by all the trials
and storms of life. Shrink not then from the
tempestuous winds of trial, but take comfort,
believing that by their rough discipline God is
fulfilling this benediction to you.

Evening: Instruction in the Family
"Tell ye your children of it, and let your
children tell their children, and their children another generation."
  --Joel 1:3

In this simple way, by God's grace, a living
testimony for truth is always to be kept alive in
the land--the beloved of the Lord are to hand
down their witness for the gospel, and the
covenant to their heirs, and these again to their
next descendants. This is our first duty, we are
to begin at the family hearth: he is a bad
preacher who does not commence his ministry at
home. The heathen are to be sought by all means,
and the highways and hedges are to be searched,
but home has a prior claim, and woe unto those
who reverse the order of the Lord's arrangements.

To teach our children is a personal duty; we
cannot delegate it to Sunday School Teachers, or
other friendly aids, these can assist us, but
cannot deliver us from the sacred obligation;
proxies and sponsors are wicked devices in this
case: mothers and fathers must, like Abraham,
command their households in the fear of God, and
talk with their offspring concerning the wondrous
works of the Most High.

Parental teaching is a natural duty--who so fit
to look to the child's well-being as those who
are the authors of his actual being? To neglect
the instruction of our offspring is worse than
brutish. Family religion is necessary for the
nation, for the family itself, and for the church
of God. By a thousand plots Popery is covertly
advancing in our land, and one of the most
effectual means for resisting its inroads is left
almost neglected, namely, the instruction of children in the faith.

Would that parents would awaken to a sense of the
importance of this matter. It is a pleasant duty
to talk of Jesus to our sons and daughters, and
the more so because it has often proved to be an
accepted work, for God has saved the children
through the parents' prayers and admonitions. May
every house into which this volume shall come
honour the Lord and receive His smile.

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

As believers in the Lord, it is important that we always keep focused in
leading our life by God's example of love. It is easy for us to love those
who love us, but God's commandment tells us to love your enemy and pray for
them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. We are to show the
same compassion to our enemy as we would to our friend. Showing God's love
to a hurting and dying world is the believer's way of showing them Who
rules our hearts. Be encouraged to be an example of God's love to everyone
you come into contact with especially towards that one who has done
something wrong against you. Returning love for hate is sure to make an
impact that can never be erased. (Matthew 5:43-45) (Matthew 5:13-16)

I hope you are encouraged by today's message to be an example of God's love
and forgiveness.

TAMATOE

Tamatoe (Ta-ma-TOE-eh), king of Huahine, an island about 80 miles west
northwest of Tahiti, became a Christian in 1818 as a result of the labors
of missionaries from the London Missionary Society. Some of Tamatoe's
heathen neighbors on a nearby island hated Christianity and determined to
burn Tamatoe to death, along with those who had become Christians with him.

However, the plot was discovered by the Christians, and a band of them hid
near the landing site. As their enemies leaped from their canoes in the
dark, they were disarmed without receiving any physical harm. Now
weaponless, the heathen's were sure they were going to be put to a cruel
death. We can imagine their surprise when Tamatoe and his fellow
Christians treated them kindly because, as they explained, Jesus taught His
followers to be kind to their enemies.

But the Christians went further. They prepared a sumptuous feast and invited their
former enemies to partake of it with them. At the end of the repast one of the
heathen chiefs stood up and said that because of this unexpected kindness, he had
decided to become a follower of Christ. Others joined him, and within days every
heathen idol on their island was destroyed and the people became Christians.

I encourage you to Forgive. Even if the person who wronged you never admits
it, or seems to suffer for what they've done. Forgiving will set you free
and enable you to move forward, and that is what's important! Never
underestimate the power of forgiveness. It's the one power you always have
over the person who hurt you. Lincoln said, The best way to destroy an
enemy is to make him a friend. Forgiveness will put a spring in your
spiritual step, and give you a second wind for the race of life. Go ahead,
forgive, and see what happens!

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

1 John 4:10-12 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved
us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God
so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at
any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is
perfected in us.

Matthew 6:14-15 Jesus declares For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Romans 12:17-21 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest
in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live
peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather
give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay,
saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst,
give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Peter 3:8-11 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of
another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil
for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that
ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that
will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil,
and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good;
let him seek peace, and ensue it.

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

JNM - ACTIVATING PROPHETIC MINISTRY BY BREAKING THE POWER OFFEAR

ACTIVATING PROPHETIC MINISTRY BY BREAKING THE POWER OF FEAR

By Dr Bill Hamon

1. FEAR IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST OBSTACLES

1.. Jer 1:7,8 "Do not say I am a youth, for you shall go to all whom I send you, and
whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am
with you to deliver you, says the Lord.
2.. 2 Tim 1:6,7 "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you
through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of
power, and of love, and a sound mind.
1) Fear in the Greek is "deos", meaning cowardice, timidity, or fright.

3.. Romans 14:23 ". for whatever is not of faith, it is sin."
4.. Rev 21:8 "But the cowardly (fearful) unbelieving, abominable, murderers,
sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the
lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
5.. Prov 29:25 "The fear of men brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall
be safe".
1) Snare defined in Hebrew is a noose, by implication a hook for the nose.

2. The scriptural antidote to fear

A. 2 Tim 1:7 "God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power . "

1.. Power in Greek is dunamis, or miraculous power.
2.. Romans 15:19 "in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so
that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of
Christ."
3.. Fully preaching involves declaring and demonstrating.
B. 2 Tim 1:7 "God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, love . "

1.. Love = agape "an unselfish commitment to the welfare of another based on God's
sense of value and worth for each person."
2.. 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because
fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love."
3.. When we love as God loves, want to give. Be unselfish !
C. 2 Tim 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, love and
of a sound mind."

1.. Two Greek words which literally mean "to save the mind".
2.. Being free from fear requires discipline and self-control of our thoughts
process.
3.. The mind is one of the biggest battlegrounds where spiritual warfare is waged.
3. Breaking agreements with spirits of fear

A. Fear of man, fear of failure, fear of public humiliation, fear of exposure,
fear of making a mistake, fear of being wrong; fear of retribution, etc.

B. Process of freedom from demonic oppression: forgive, renounce, cast off.

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

There are many people in this world who are down and depressed because of
the trials of life and need to be supported to get back up and continue on.
Whether we realize it or not, we each have the ability to lend support by
our positive words and actions to help lift up and strengthen those who are
discouraged. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one
to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. As children of the
Lord, we are to be an example of Christ's love and are called to intervene and take
the initiative to be helpful and supportive even if it's in the simplest way. Showing
a simple act of love may only take us a few moments, but the impact towards the
recipient is sure to leave a mark that can never be erased. (Acts 20:35) (1
Thessalonians 5:11-15)

I hope you are blessed and inspired by today's message.

A KIND WORD

A successful businessman, addressing the commercial club of his city, told
a story in his after-dinner speech. It was the story of a boy named Jim,
who was an orphan and the laughing stock of the whole town. He was twelve
years old, slim and undersized. He never remembered having a kind word
spoken to him in his whole life. He was accustomed to harsh words, suspicion, and
rebuffs, and as a result became a shrinking, pitiful little figure, dodging people.
And the more he dodged people, the more suspicious they became.

The only earthly possession of which Jim could boast was a dog that cringed
and shrank almost as much as his master and was as much hated. Jim was not
cruel to his dog except in words - and that is really the worst form of cruelty, even
to a dog. A harsh, unkind word can cause more misery, heartache, and anguish than
actual physical cruelty. A cruel, unkind tongue cuts like a sword.

One day as Jim walked down the street, he saw a bundle slip from the overloaded arms
of a little lady just in front of him. As she stooped to pick it up, the others
rolled down. Jim sprang to her assistance, gathering up the bundles and replacing them
in her arms. Thank you, dear; you are a nice little boy, she said kindly, and went on
her way after giving him a bright smile.

Jim was amazed; a queer choky feeling passed over him. These were the first
kind words he had ever heard in his whole twelve years of existence. He
stood and stared after her. He knew that she was the busy little dressmaker
who lived in a small cottage on the outskirts of town. He watched her until
she was out of sight, then he whistled to Tige and made straight for the
woods and a stream that wound around the town.

He sat down on the bank of the stream and did some thinking. Thank you,
dear; you are a nice little boy, he pondered.

Come here, Tige, he commanded, and Tige slunk to his feet. Then Jim lowered his voice
in imitation of the little faded lady and said, You are a nice little dog. The effect
on Tige was electrical. He pricked up his ears, and if a dog could stand at
attention, Tige did. Uhum! Even a dog likes it, said Jim. Well, Tige, I don't blame
you; it is nice. I won't holler at you anymore. Tige wagged his tail joyously.

The boy continued to think, and the dog sat and watched him. Finally the
boy pulled from the odds and ends in his pockets a piece of broken mirror
and looked at himself. He saw nothing but grime and dirt, the accumulation
of many days. He went down to the water's edge and scrubbed it off
carefully, almost painfully. Then he looked again. He scarcely recognized
himself. He was surprised. He stood erect and looked up instead of down for
the first time since he could remember. He distinctly liked the sensation.
A feeling of self-respect awoke within his being. Ambition sprang full-grown into
life. At that moment the course of his life was changed; a determination to be worthy
of the kind words spoken to him by the little dress maker, and to pass them on, took
possession of his soul.

After telling this story of Jim, the orphan boy, the speaker paused; and then he
electrified the audience by saying, Gentlemen, I was that boy.
This city--your city, my city--was that little town of forty years ago. Our plant
stands upon the spot where that gentle woman stood when she implanted in my life the
first seed of kindness. She sleeps out yonder in what was then the cemetery of a
country church. As a tribute to her memory I have told you this story.

Oh, that all of us would learn the lesson: Be ye kind. What transforming power it has!

I postulated that there are four essential links in the chain of

The major holdup, in my analysis of the situation, is that second

David & Deliverance
by Doris Wagner

As I work along in the field of deliverance, I find that over and
over again there are Christian brothers and sisters who fall into sin and feel totally
stuck there. I have also observed that these folks seem to fi t into two categories -
those who are very sorry and who want to get things right, and those who don't seem to
care or feel that they are beyond help.
A couple of years ago I was teaching at a week long seminar in the
Heartland and because I was teaching only in the evenings, I had some time on my hands
(a rare occurrence, indeed). As I was preparing for some teaching, the Lord took me to
a number of passages concerning David and I found myself in a fascinating study.

Praying Like Daniel
by Chuck D. Pierce

We are entering into a season of Harvest praying! This is the time
that we are to be watching NEW DOORS FORM. To "form" means to develop or mold the
shape or outline of something, or to give meaning, character or nature to something.
Another way of thinking about a season of formation is to see something (including the
conditioning of our mind and body in regard to their mental performance) as it will be
in days ahead. A forming season includes conceivi

JNM - Memuliakan Tuhan dgn kehidupan SEX yang benar & CHILREND's FAITH

Deal all beloved,
Ulangan 22:13-30

" Mama..Mama..Tuhan mendengar doaku!!! Tuhan menjawab doa ku!! "

dia berdoa sama Tuhan. Dia bilang : "Tuhan Yesus, Bapaku, aku kepengen punya sepatu
nggak? ukuran sepatunya berapa?
PUJI TUHAN, TUhan kita memang TUHAN YANG HIDUP & DAHSYAT!!!

cuman kawan2 sekolahnya yan

Morning: Faith in a Promise
"Tell me I pray thee wherein thy great strength lieth."

--Judges 16:6

Where lies the secret strength of faith? It lies
in the food it feeds on; for faith studies what
the promise is--an emanation of divine grace, an
overflowing of the great heart of God; and faith
says, "My God could not have given this promise,
except from love and grace; therefore it is quite
certain His Word will be fulfilled."

Then faith thinketh, "Who gave this promise?" It
considereth not so much its greatness, as, "Who
is the author of it?" She remembers that it is
God who cannot lie--God omnipotent, God
immutable; and therefore concludeth that the
promise must be fulfilled; and forward she
advances in this firm conviction. She
remembereth, why the promise was given,--namely,
for God's glory, and she feels perfectly sure
that God's glory is safe, that He will never
stain His own escutcheon, nor mar the lustre of
His own crown; and therefore the promise must and will stand.

Then faith also considereth the amazing work of
Christ as being a clear proof of the Father's
intention to fulfil His word. "He that spared not
His own Son, but freely delivered Him up for us
all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

Moreover faith looks back upon the past, for her
battles have strengthened her, and her victories
have given her courage. She remembers that God
never has failed her; nay, that He never did once
fail any of His children. She recollecteth times
of great peril, when deliverance came; hours of
awful need, when as her day her strength was
found, and she cries, "No, I never will be led to
think that He can change and leave His servant now.

Hitherto the Lord hath helped me, and He will
help me still." Thus faith views each promise in
its connection with the promise-giver, and,
because she does so, can with assurance say,
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life!"

Evening: College of Grace
"Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me: for Thou art
the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day." --Psalm 25:5

When the believer has begun with trembling feet
to walk in the way of the Lord, he asks to be
still led onward like a little child upheld by
its parent's helping hand, and he craves to be
further instructed in the alphabet of truth.

Experimental teaching is the burden of this
prayer. David knew much, but he felt his
ignorance, and desired to be still in the Lord's
school: four times over in two verses he applies
for a scholarship in the college of grace. It
were well for many professors if instead of
following their own devices, and cutting out new
paths of thought for themselves, they would
enquire for the good old ways of God's own truth,
and beseech the Holy Ghost to give them
sanctified understandings and teachable spirits.

"For thou art the God of my salvation." The
Three-One Jehovah is the Author and Perfecter of
salvation to His people. Reader, is He the God of
your salvation? Do you find in the Father's
election, in the Son's atonement, and in the
Spirit's quickening, all the grounds of your
eternal hopes? If so, you may use this as an
argument for obtaining further blessings; if the
Lord has ordained to save you, surely He will not
refuse to instruct you in His ways.

It is a happy thing when we can address the Lord
with the confidence which David here manifests,
it gives us great power in prayer, and comfort in
trial. "On Thee do I wait all the day." Patience
is the fair handmaid and daughter of faith; we
cheerfully wait when we are certain that we shall
not wait in vain. It is our duty and our
privilege to wait upon the Lord in service, in
worship, in expectancy, in trust all the days of
our life. Our faith will be tried faith, and if
it be of the true kind, it will bear continued
trial without yielding. We shall not grow weary
of waiting upon God if we remember how long and
how graciously He once waited for us.

"Forget not all His benefits." --Psalm 103:2

It is a delightful and profitable occupation to
mark the hand of God in the lives of ancient
saints, and to observe His goodness in delivering
them, His mercy in pardoning them, and His
faithfulness in keeping His covenant with them.
But would it not be even more interesting and
profitable for us to remark the hand of God in

of His goodness and of His truth, as much a proof

Dear Beloved,
Calvary greetings to you in Jesus' name!
My visa interview yesterday was not successful. I was refused the US entry visa again
for the third consecutive time in less than two years.
In spite of this, I still thank God for He is still worthy of my praise and worship. I
thank all of you that sent words of encouragement and prophecy to me when I solicited
for your prayers toward the interview. I thank you all for joining me in prayer.
Although I was not given the visa, yet, I believe that God really granted me His
divine favor. The fact that my wife, our two children, and especially I are alive
today is a dine favor of God!
Continue to pray that the grace - the unmerited favor - of God will be sufficient for
me in my life and ministry. Pray that I will have a long and meaningful life. Pray
that God will use me more especially in this email (writing) ministry. My key verses
of the Bible is still Philippians 1:20-21, "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in
no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will
be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. FOR TO ME, TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND
TO DIE IS GAIN" (NIV).
I have decided to use one of my poems to celebrate the perceived granted visa as my
message for next week to assure people that victory is sure. Let me send the poem
today. I know certainly that victory is sure!

VICTORY IS SURE!
Do not accept defeat,
Do not be downcast,
Do not let your heart be depressed.
Perhaps it is not well today,
But it will be better tomorrow;
Perhaps you do not have what you want now,
But soonest you will have it;
Perhaps you find it difficult to actualize your goals,
Do not abandon such goals.
Continue to encourage yourself,
That you will certainly succeed.
Perhaps you were defeated in one battle,
Yet your victory is sure.
Despite all obstacles,
If you do not become weary;
If you do not become discouraged;
If you do not accept defeat;
If you continue to struggle,
It shall be well with you.
Victory is sure!
In His service,
Bayo Afolaranmi (Pastor).

Ketaatan Mendatangkan Berkat

berkat bukan hanya sekedar hal materi saja.

Salam sejahtera,

Tuhan Mempunyai 1001 Jalan Menjawab Doa Kita

anak-anak kami bersekolah, yaitu Wahroonga Adventist Primary School.
Dua tahun kemudian setelah saya menyelesaikan kuliah, istri saya mengambil cuti

Morning: Beginning Education
"The earnest of our inheritance." --Ephesians 1:14

Oh! what enlightenment, what joys, what
consolation, what delight of heart is experienced
by that man who has learned to feed on Jesus, and
on Jesus alone. Yet the realization which we have
of Christ's preciousness is, in this life,
imperfect at the best. As an old writer says,
"'Tis but a taste!" We have tasted "that the Lord
is gracious," but we do not yet know how good and
gracious He is, although what we know of His
sweetness makes us long for more.

We have enjoyed the firstfruits of the Spirit,
and they have set us hungering and thirsting for
the fulness of the heavenly vintage. We groan
within ourselves, waiting for the adoption. Here
we are like Israel in the wilderness, who had but
one cluster from Eshcol, there we shall be in the
vineyard. Here we see the manna falling small,
like coriander seed, but there shall we eat the
bread of heaven and the old corn of the kingdom.
We are but beginners now in spiritual education;
for although we have learned the first letters of
the alphabet, we cannot read words yet, much less
can we put sentences together; but as one says,
"He that has been in heaven but five minutes,
knows more than the general assembly of divines
on earth." We have many ungratified desires at
present, but soon every wish shall be satisfied;
and all our powers shall find the sweetest
employment in that eternal world of joy.

O Christian, antedate heaven for a few years.
Within a very little time thou shalt be rid of
all thy trials and thy troubles. Thine eyes now
suffused with tears shall weep no longer. Thou
shalt gaze in ineffable rapture upon the
splendour of Him who sits upon the throne. Nay,
more, upon His throne shalt thou sit. The triumph
of His glory shall be shared by thee; His crown,
His joy, His paradise, these shall be thine, and
thou shalt be co-heir with Him who is the heir of all things.

Evening: Waters of the World
"And now what hast thou to do in the way of
Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor?" --Jeremiah 2:18

By sundry miracles, by divers mercies, by strange
deliverances Jehovah had proved Himself to be
worthy of Israel's trust. Yet they broke down the
hedges with which God had enclosed them as a
sacred garden; they forsook their own true and
living God, and followed after false gods.
Constantly did the Lord reprove them for this
infatuation, and our text contains one instance
of God's expostulating with them, "What hast thou
to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of
the muddy river?"--for so it may be translated.
"Why dost thou wander afar and leave thine own
cool stream from Lebanon? Why dost thou forsake
Jerusalem to turn aside to Noph and to Tahapanes?
Why art thou so strangely set on mischief, that
thou canst not be content with the good and
healthful, but wouldst follow after that which is evil and deceitful?"

Is there not here a word of expostulation and
warning to the Christian? O true believer, called
by grace and washed in the precious blood of
Jesus, thou hast tasted of better drink than the
muddy river of this world's pleasure can give
thee; thou hast had fellowship with Christ; thou
hast obtained the joy of seeing Jesus, and
leaning thine head upon His bosom. Do the
trifles, the songs, the honours, the merriment of
this earth content thee after that? Hast thou
eaten the bread of angels, and canst thou live on
husks? Good Rutherford once said, "I have tasted
of Christ's own manna, and it hath put my mouth
out of taste for the brown bread of this world's
joys." Methinks it should be so with thee.

If thou art wandering after the waters of Egypt,
O return quickly to the one living fountain: the
waters of Sihor may be sweet to the Egyptians,
but they will prove only bitterness to thee. What
hast thou to do with them? Jesus asks thee this
question this evening--what wilt thou answer Him?

DUNIA WANITA: Menjadi Kartini Rohani Masa Kini

 menelantarkan urusan rumah tangga.

Tanggung jawab rumah tangga: Ia pandai mengatur pekerjaan rumah tangganya.

Kemampuan membuat rencana: Seperti pepatah ia tahu 'Sedia payung sebelum
hujan.'

Kekuatan fisik: Ia selalu menjaga kesehatannya, memperhatikan kebugaran dirinya.

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

The power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ is extended to all those
who believe and trust in His Name. The Lord Jesus declares in Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over
all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. We
have been given authority over the devil and all his evil devices and must
make a conscious effort to stand in our ability through Christ. There are
many Bible believing Christians who do not take hold of their authority
when the enemy comes with his temptations, but rather they get discouraged
and forget of the power that stands ready behind them. We have been given
a weapon that is promised to defeat even the greatest adversary and that
weapon is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:19) (John 10:10-11)

At the mention of His name all devils must bow and surrender their attacks.
The Bible declares in Philippians 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under
the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. In Him is power, beauty and glory that
is unsurpassed. His authority is to be made manifest through our lives so
that all may know who we belong to. (Hebrews 2:14-15) (Ephesians 6:10-18)

I hope you are encouraged and strengthened by today's message to take hold
of your authority as a believer and know that you do have power over all
the principalities of the enemy.

THE BIBLE SALESMAN

An old man, selling books and Bibles, slumped down in the seat of his
buggy as he rode along through the rain and the sticky mud of the Texas
black land country.

Taking advantage of the dark and gloomy day, the devil whispered to the
aged saint, Look at all the dark and ugly sins of your yesterdays. Think
of all the broken resolutions, the failures, and the foolish things you've
done. You might as well give up. You can never make heaven.

The old man sat bolt upright. Half aloud he said, Devil, be gone! Go talk
to Jesus Christ about me. He is my representative. I've turned my life
completely over to Him. The devil left and the old saint rode triumphantly
on through the rain.
By Arthur E. Lickey

Be encouraged and know that you are a mighty warrior through Christ. The
same power that Jesus displayed throughout His life is promised to all
those who trust in Him. The Lord Jesus says in John 14:12, "Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall
he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my
Father." Let God's word resonate within your spirit and realize who you
are because of the Lord Jesus Christ. Stand in your authority and know
that God is proudest when we realize who we are because of the sacrifice
of His beloved Son. (1 Timothy 6:16-18) (1 Peter 4:11) (Revelation 1:6-8)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given
Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the
earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father.

Ephesians 3:10-13 To the intent that now unto the principalities and
powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom
of God, According to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus
our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith
of Him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you,
which is your glory.

Matthew 16:19 Jesus says, And I will give unto thee the keys of the
kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound
in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the
power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

I hope you are doing well and are in the best of health. I am doing very well and am
thankful for another day that God has given us. I have been thinking about the
majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ and I felt led to write a message on how steadfast
and humble the Apostles that served the Lord were before mankind and the Lord Himself.
Many times we get caught up with the daily routines of life and forget to lift up the
Lord and magnify Him above all else that is around us. I hope this message on
honoring the Lord and living purely before Him ministers to your heart and encourages
you to keep God first in your life and reminds you to give thanks to Him no matter the
circumstances.

As Bible believing Christians, we are to remember the Lord's sacrifice for
mankind and keep in mind that His sufferings do not compare to the
temporary trials and tribulations that come our way. Many times a problem
comes our way and we forget that God is still in control and think that it
is the end of the world. We should never lose focus of our wonderful Lord
and His sacrifice for us. Keeping this in mind helps put into perspective
every trial and tribulation that the enemy tries to bring before us. His
Majesty and Supremacy should be our focus and not the problem that comes
before us. The Bible says He will never leave us nor forsake us so you be
encouraged and know that He is near. (Isaiah 53:1-12) (Hebrews 13:5)

When times of discouragement come our way, we are to remember what the
Apostles went through when they were sharing the gospel message to all the
world. The Apostle Paul who is known as one of the greatest Apostles
suffered greatly for the cause of the Lord Jesus Christ, but without
complaint. The Bible says that Paul was beaten for preaching the gospel of
the Lord and placed in the depths of the jails in Philippi and yet victory
was still in his mind while he sang praises to the Lord in the midst of
being in jail. Paul was also whipped three separate times with rods, once
was stoned, he was shipwrecked three times; once being adrift at sea for
one whole day and night and the list goes on and on. (2 Corinthians 11:23-31)

All of these tribulations that Paul went through is enough to cause anyone
to say I give up and yet the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:17 For
our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more
exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Paul called his great sufferings
a light affliction. Imagine his complete faithfulness to the Lord knowing
that his reward will greatly overshadow every insult and persecution that
came his way. How much more should we show our faithfulness to the Lord
who havenâ?Tt suffered anywhere near Paul's adversities? (Acts 16:25-34)

The faithfulness and adoration of Peter also comes to mind. It is a well
known historical fact that the Apostle Peter who was condemned to death by
crucifixion for his stance and belief on the Lord Jesus Christ asked to be
crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die the physical death in
the same manner as His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Can you imagine the
adoration that Peter had for the Lord that he would ask to be crucified
upside-down and suffer an even greater death? Such love can not be
understood by today's society because we have become quick in coming to God
with our requests rather than coming to God with our praise and worship.
(John 21:18-19) (Isaiah 6:1-5) (Psalm 100:1-5) (Matthew 28:16-20)

Many of us that are living in this day have become lackadaisical and
complacent in our living for the Lord and do not realize how lifted up and
Glorious the Lord Jesus Christ really is. He is magnificent and Holy and
is exalted above all things in Heaven and in Earth. We are to honor the
Lord with our praises, we are to give thanks to Him for dying in our stead
so that we might have eternal life, and we are to live a pure life in
adoration of His sinless life. Yes it is true that we are saved by Grace
and not because of anything that we have done, but still we must remember
the Lord's sacrifice and honour Him with our life. (Philippians 2:9-11)

I encourage you to repent if you have not lived according to God's
standards and ask for a new heart to praise and worship Him in spirit and
in truth. God is faithful to forgive and overlook our short falls when we
ask for His forgiveness. Be encouraged to continue on without complaint
but rather with thankfulness and singing in your heart. Live for the Lord
and let His marvellous works be made manifest through your life to impact
others for His Glory and eternal purposes. (Isaiah 55:6-7) (Psalm 95:1-8)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast
down,

Devotion: Morning and Evening

Morning: Called to Be Saints
"Called to be saints." --Romans 1:7

We are very apt to regard the apostolic saints as
if they were "saints" in a more especial manner
than the other children of God. All are "saints"
whom God has called by His grace, and sanctified
by His Spirit; but we are apt to look upon the
apostles as extraordinary beings, scarcely
subject to the same weaknesses and temptations as
ourselves. Yet in so doing we are forgetful of
this truth, that the nearer a man lives to God
the more intensely has he to mourn over his own
evil heart; and the more his Master honours him
in His service, the more also doth the evil of
the flesh vex and tease him day by day.

The fact is, if we had seen the apostle Paul, we
should have thought him remarkably like the rest
of the chosen family: and if we had talked with
him, we should have said, "We find that his
experience and ours are much the same. He is more
faithful, more holy, and more deeply taught than
we are, but he has the selfsame trials to endure.
Nay, in some respects he is more sorely tried
than ourselves." Do not, then, look upon the
ancient saints as being exempt either from
infirmities or sins; and do not regard them with
that mystic reverence which will almost make us
idolators. Their holiness is attainable even by
us. We are "called to be saints" by that same
voice which constrained them to their high vocation.

It is a Christian's duty to force his way into
the inner circle of saintship; and if these
saints were superior to us in their attainments,
as they certainly were, let us follow them; let
us emulate their ardour and holiness. We have the
same light that they had, the same grace is
accessible to us, and why should we rest
satisfied until we have equalled them in heavenly
character? They lived with Jesus, they lived for
Jesus, therefore they grew like Jesus. Let us
live by the same Spirit as they did, "looking
unto Jesus," and our saintship will soon be apparent.

Evening: Sin of Fear
"Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord
Jehovah is everlasting strength." --Isaiah 26:4

Seeing that we have such a God to trust to, let us rest upon Him with all our weight;
let us resolutely drive out all unbelief, and endeavour to get rid of doubts and
fears, which so much mar our comfort; since there is no excuse for fear where God is
the foundation of our trust.

A loving parent would be sorely grieved if his
child could not trust him; and how ungenerous,
how unkind is our conduct when we put so little
confidence in our heavenly Father who has never
failed us, and who never will. It were well if
doubting were banished from the household of God;
but it is to be feared that old Unbelief is as
nimble nowadays as when the psalmist asked, "Is
His mercy clean gone for ever? Will He be
favourable no more?" David had not made any very
lengthy trial of the mighty sword of the giant
Goliath, and yet he said, "There is none like
it." He had tried it once in the hour of his
youthful victory, and it had proved itself to be
of the right metal, and therefore he praised it
ever afterwards; even so should we speak well of
our God, there is none like unto Him in the
heaven above or the earth beneath; "To whom then
will ye liken Me, or shall I be equal? saith the
Holy One." There is no rock like unto the rock of
Jacob, our enemies themselves being judges.

So far from suffering doubts to live in our
hearts, we will take the whole detestable crew,
as Elijah did the prophets of Baal, and slay them
over the brook; and for a stream to kill them at,
we will select the sacred torrent which wells
forth from our Saviour's wounded side. We have
been in many trials, but we have never yet been
cast where we could not find in our God all that
we needed. Let us then be encouraged to trust in
the Lord for ever, assured that His ever lasting
strength will be, as it has been, our succour and stay.

Morning: God's People Are Safe
"Whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and
shall be quiet from fear of evil." --Proverbs 1:33

Divine love is rendered conspicuous when it I
shines in the midst of judgments. Fair is that
lone star which smiles through the rifts of the
thunder clouds; bright is the oasis which blooms
in the wilderness of sand; so fair and so bright
is love in the midst of wrath. When the
Israelites provoked the Most High by their
continued idolatry, He punished them by
withholding both dew and rain, so that their land

JNM - God is Good & My Prayer & MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB

2004-07-28 Terurut Topik pttwr
From: Harold Lumangkun

God is Good

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he
will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he
will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" I Corinthians 10:13
Terrorists had kidnapped Gracia Burnham and her husband in the Philippines. In the
battle to free these missionaries, Gracia's husband was killed. When asked what she
learned through the tragedy, Gracia said, "I've learned during my year in the jungle
that...God is good. I've decided God is good no matter what we go through or how we
feel. That doesn't change the fact that God is good." Gracia is right! God IS good.
The circumstances you face right now don't change that fact. Your marriage may be in
trouble...or someone at work is impossible to deal with... or maybe you're concerned
about one of your children. Friend, whatever trial you're going through, God is still
good. He loves you and never changes, and can be trusted.
Put your whole faith in Him today!
By: Vonette Bright

My Prayer

Lord, little by little You are getting through my befuddled mind to teach me another
practical concept about living a life pleasing to You. Lord Jesus, I know You said
that in this world we would have troubles, but for some reason, I really thought there
would be fewer problems as I aged. That I would become wiser. But life becomes more
complicated. I wonder, Lord, is it because You need to constantly remind us that this
earth is not our home...that we are heaven bound? So many times I forget that people,
circumstances or things cannot give me happiness; only You can. I realize now that my
discouragement can be because of the lack of trusting You. This day, Lord, I pray that
You will enable me to trust You each time a problem arises. Whenever I get stressed,
remind me to turn my eyes on You and Your sufficiency. My help comes from You, Lord.
Amen.

MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB

Mary had a little Lamb, His fleese was white as snow And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go. He followed her to school each day, when it was NOT against
the rules. He made the children laugh and play to have a Lamb at school. And then the
rules changed one day, against the law it became. To bring the Lamb of God to school,
or even speak His name. Every day it got worse and worse and the days turned into
years. Instead of hearing children laugh and play, you heard them crying tears What
must we do to stop the crime, that is in our schools today? Let the Lamb come back to
school and teach our kids to pray.

Setelah Dua Kali Hamil Diluar Nikah

hamil".

Pacar Irene terus mendesak Irene untuk menggugurkan kandungannya. Walau Irene
menolak, dia tetap memaksa.

Lama
kelamaan merekapun mulai dekat.

"Saya mulai ngobrol sama dia, curhat sama dia, dan lama kelamaan saya mulai
merasakan kenyamanan sama dia".

Wandra: "Disitu saya mulai percaya. Walau saya pernah melakukan seks bebas, tapi
ternyata Tuhan masih mengasihi saya dan menolong saya".

  Irene sendiri melih

RAHASIA GAYA HIDUP SEHAT

baik-baik saja".

Injil mencakupkan pemulihan rohani sekaligus jasmani.

JNM - Kisah nyata ** Bagaimana Mungkin Saya Bisa Mengampuni?

Bagaimana Mungkin Saya Bisa Mengampuni?
by Kisah Nyata (http://www.jawaban.com)

Sumber Kesaksian : Lisandrea Wentland

saya berusia delapan tahun. Itu begitu mengerikan. Ayah saya begitu
mengerikan.

Tahun demi tahun ayah saya terus mengecewakan saya. Dia menggagalkan saya,
melewatkan nilai-nilai saya.

Saya membenci ayah saya. Saya membenci diri saya karena menjadi serupa
seperti dirinya.

dirinya?. Tidakkah seharusnya kami merubah dulu pola pengasuhan dalam
keluarga sebelum saya mengampuni ayah saya itu?. Tidakkah seharusnya saya

Saya mulai
berdoa agar hati saya ini dibuat menjadi lembut. Saya berdoa supaya semua
prasangka pikiran saya dibuang jauh.

From: Ferry Lisjamsu

Kata Bijak Hari Ini

menghilangkan jatah waktu tidurmu.
Beristirahatlah anakku.

2004-07-28 Terurut Topik pttwr
From: Mona Pasaribu

IMAN YANG BELUM MELIHAT

Ibrani 11:7

I. Pendahuluan

lagu, lagu yang sederhana, twinkle2 little star.
pianis, tapi hanyalah seorang anak kecil. Sang pianis pun

Gods Work Ministry Inspirational and Encouragement E-Mail

Dear Friend,

With the many pressures of life, it's important that we have a lighthearted
attitude towards any situation that tries to steal our Joy. We must
remember to be humble and lowly in heart and not allow this world to make
us lose focus of the One who has called us out of darkness and into His
marvellous light. Having a lighthearted and cheerful attitude not only
helps to keep our peace, but it also helps to restore our health. The
Bible declares in Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Have a merry heart and do not
allow the pressures of the enemy to steal your Joy and make you question
your peace. Stand steadfast in your faith and make up your mind that your
Peace, Cheerfulness and Joy will continue all the days of your life.
(Matthew 11:28-30) (1 Peter 2:9) (1 Peter 5:5-9) (Nehemiah 8:10)

I hope you are encouraged and blessed by today's message.

THE VISION OF CHILDREN

When I look at a patch of dandelions, I see a bunch of weeds that are
going to take over my yard. My kids see flowers for Mom and blowing white
fluff you can wish on.

When I look at an old drunk and he smiles at me, I see a smelly, dirty
person who probably wants money and I look away. My kids see someone
smiling at them and they smile back.

When I hear music I love, I know I can't carry a tune and don't have much
rhythm so I sit self consciously and listen. My kids feel the beat and
move to it. They sing out the words. If they don't know them, they make
up their own.

When I feel wind on my face, I brace myself against it. I feel it messing
up my hair and pulling me back when I walk. My kids close their eyes,
spread their arms and fly with it until they fall to the ground laughing.

When I pray I say Thee and Thou and grant me this, give me that. My kids
say, Hi God! Thanks for my toys and my friends. Please keep the bad
dreams away tonight. Sorry, I don't want to go to Heaven yet. I would miss
my Mommy and Daddy.

When I see a mud puddle, I step around it. I see muddy shoes and clothes
and dirty carpets. My kids sit in it. They see dams to build, rivers to
cross and worms to play with.

I wonder if we are given kids to teach or to learn from?
No wonder God loves the little children!!

Be encouraged to not be so serious all the time. If you are finding
yourself having a bad day, stop yourself and think on something good or
funny. Have a merry heart and keep it in your mind that it is for your own
best interest to take it easy and enjoy right now. The Bible declares in
Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow
of the heart the spirit is broken. It is our choice whether we have peace
and joy or heartbreak and disappointment. The Lord has done all the work
that needed to be done and now it is up to us whether we accept it or
reject it. (Colossians 3:1-2) (Isaiah 53:4-5) (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

I encourage you to see the good in all things and do not allow the voice
of discouragement to penetrate your heart. Have a merry heart and allow
God's peace to infiltrate every area of your life. You will find very soon
if you choose to have a merry heart that your health, joy, contentment and
peace will be elevated to heights never before imagined.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Romans 12:15-17 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that
weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but
condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

1 Peter 5:5-7 Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed
with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt
you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things
are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good
report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these
things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard,
and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

Daily devotions for 07-22-2004:
Devotion: Morning and Evening
Morning Title: Marriage to Christ
Evening Title: The Agony of the Lord
Do you enjoy this devotional? Send it on to a friend!

Morning: Marriage to Christ
"I am married unto you." --Jeremiah 3:14

Christ Jesus is joined unto His people in marriage-union. In love He espoused His
Church as a chaste virgin, long before she fell under the yoke of bondage. Full of
burning affection He toiled, like Jacob for Rachel, until the whole of her
purchase-money had been paid, and now, having sought her by His Spirit, and brought
her to know and love Him, He awaits the glorious hour when their mutual bliss shall be
consummated at the marriage-supper of the Lamb. Not yet hath the glorious Bridegroom
presented His betrothed, perfected and complete, before the Majesty of heaven; not yet
hath she actually entered upon the enjoyment of her dignities as His wife and queen:
she is as yet a wanderer in a world of woe, a dweller in the tents of Kedar; but she
is even now the bride, the spouse of Jesus, dear to His heart, precious in His sight,
written on His hands, and united with His person. On earth He exercises towards her
all the affectionate offices of Husband. He makes rich provision for her wants, pays
all her debts, allows her to assume His name, and to share in all His wealth.
Nor will He ever act otherwise to her. The word divorce He will never mention, for "He
hateth putting away."

Death must sever the conjugal tie between the most loving mortals, but it cannot
divide the links of this immortal marriage. In heaven they marry not, but are as the
angels of God; yet there is this one marvellous exception to the rule, for in Heaven
Christ and His Church shall celebrate their joyous nuptials. This affinity as it is
more lasting, so is it more near than earthly wedlock.

Let the love of husband be never so pure and fervent, it is but a faint picture of the
flame which burns in the heart of Jesus. Passing all human union is that mystical
cleaving unto the Church, for which Christ left His Father, and became one flesh with
her.

Evening: The Agony of the Lord
"Behold the Man!" --John 19:5

If there be one place where our Lord Jesus most fully becomes the joy and comfort of
His people, it is where He plunged deepest into the depths of woe. Come hither,
gracious souls, and behold the Man in the garden of Gethsemane; behold His heart
so brimming with love that He cannot hold it in--so full of sorrow that it must find a
vent.
Behold the bloody sweat as it distils from every pore of His body, and falls upon the
ground.
Behold the Man as they drive the nails into His hands and feet. Look up, repenting
sinners, and see the sorrowful image of your suffering Lord.
Mark Him, as the ruby drops stand on the thorn-crown, and adorn with priceless gems
the diadem of the King of Misery. Behold the Man when all His bones are out of joint,
and He is poured out like water and brought into the dust of death; God hath forsaken
Him, and hell compasseth Him about.

Behold and see, was there ever sorrow like unto His sorrow that is done unto Him? All
ye that pass by draw near and look upon this spectacle of grief, unique, unparalleled,
a wonder to men and angels, a prodigy unmatched. Behold the Emperor of Woe who had no
equal or rival in His agonies!
Gaze upon Him, ye mourners, for if there be not consolation in a crucified Christ
there is no joy in earth or heaven. If in the ransom price of His blood there be not
hope, ye harps of heaven, there is no joy in you, and the right hand of God shall know
no pleasures for evermore.

We have only to sit more continually at the cross foot to be less troubled with our
doubts and woes. We have but to see His sorrows, and our sorrows we shall be ashamed
to mention; we have but to gaze into His wounds and heal our own. If
we would live aright it must be by the contemplation of His death; if we would rise to
dignity, it must be by considering His humiliation and His sorrow.
