[JOYnet] Anniversary thoughts....
Hello Friends, Nice to see many people writing about JOYnet... Inviting others to join Tell us how this JOYnet is helping you in your life. This is the time for us to thank God for all the blessings he has showered on us thru this JOYnet!!! This e-mail fellowship has grown a lot in the last three years When it was started on 22-Oct-1998, there were 58 members... It is nice to see that most of them are still continuing in JOYnet... Then later, a mailing list was created and we moved on to be a part of the JY web site as jyolist In the initial stage, the number increased slowly Then we moved our mailing list to another server We got a new name JOYnet... The new list have many good features... First we had a team called 'cats' to co-ordinate the activities... Then later, a service team and core team is formed.. During the last one year the member strength has increased from about 300+ to 600+ Then we have prayernet, parablenet etc as part of this great ministry Many people are receiving God's blessings everyday thru this prayernet... Thanks to all the prayer warriors... It is nice to see many more people joining everyday I thank all of you who are working hard behind this JOYnet... Praise God for this beautiful ministry... JOYnet is the connecting link between all of us who live in different countries For me, it has become very much a part of my life I benefited a lot from this group. Hai All Praise the Lord.I am granted leave to attend the October Fest After I prayed a bit and along with the prayrers of my Joynetters I recieved the grace neceassary to go and ask my HR Manager .He told me to meet him in the evening and he granted me leave when I went there. Also please continue to pray for me that there would not be further obstacles for me. Regarding my PG friends they have yet to recieve permission.please pray for them as they were longing even before me to attend the particular function.Their names are Pradeep,Sain and Merina. Here all of us are going through a very hectic - but joyful schedule.. The Pandhal is ready now.. Yesterday the Rexband recorded a 3 minute Title song for Jesus Youth (which will appear in Mp3 format on 25th morning in our site) composed in Malayalam, Hindi and English.. Ranjith Chandi and team ( Professionals' ministry)have prepared a 32 seconds long logo-theme animation... Martin- John Wilfred and team are busy with the final editing of more that 25 video clippings which we are going to use during the programme.. Binu-Shelton and team have started the final practise with a 40 member Music ministry which is going to minister through songs in three languages.. Leo and team have started the preparation of two documentaries - Cultural exchange programme and Jesus Youth. Leo-Tomy -Saju and team are doing the final touches of the 4 theatrical presentations.. Joseph(Film art director)-Sherry and team have started working on the stage - which will reflect our Kerala culture - in the shape of a boat.. Manoj Jons is busy co-ordinating the technical/creative team that does all these things. Babu (a police officer) is working with a big team to make 10,000 paper lanterns for the last day's rosary procession. Jilly - Preetha (fulltimers) are doing the final preparation for the solemn Masses - in 3 languages and two rites-intercession prayers, offertory processions, liturgical dances etc.. Sanal- Shaji have already finished the lay out of a 120 page brochure to be used during the conference. I am sure that this is going to be a turning point...This is the first time in history that Jesus Youth is having such a big coming together..Yes; we will hold all our JOYNET members close to our heart as we enter in to this place of grace.. We will shift to Irinjalakkuda tomorrow and we will come back everyday with news updates from there.. We will update the site everyday with pictures..
