[JOYnet] The increasing relevence for the S.S.L.C programms

2002-05-20 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

The increasing relevence for the S.S.L.C programms

It is now 10 years that Jesus Youth have started what is called
S.S.L.C programms . (though the program is for those who finished
S.S.L.C) .In almost all the zones in Kerala such programms are being
conducted in which very often 50-100 students participate. In
Kanjirappally, it was called glazing lives 2002 , and in Palai and
Ernakulam it was called Blooming Roses 2002. Taking the cue from
Jesus Youth , some dioceses also have started to conduct programms for
the S.S.L.C finished students .

Now in Kerala, the importance of these programs
are increasing because of the introduction of the +2 system in which
the academic conditions are much more strict. Jesus youth is facing a
real problemin in entering in to a +2 and start a new Prayer group
there, unless already introduced and commited contact persons are not
there. In the future the problem will be much more.

The solution is that through effectively organized
S.S.L.C programms Zonal/ Subzonal Jesus youth should build useful
contacts with the youngsters, and they should be encouraged and
supported to build prayer groups inside or outside +2's.

Things will be more effective, if such programms
can be conducted in the sub zonal level without missing the quality of
the programms

[JOYnet] News from Hospital ministry

2002-05-14 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Hi friends,
We conducted a leaders training programme from April
30th-May 5th at Emmaus Ernakulam.40 participants attended the programme
who were the students and staff nurses from different institutions.
Initial 3days were of retreat and remaining 2days were of leaders
training. Retreat was mainly based on charisms and its
practical use. It helped them to identify their charisms and to get
basic training to use them. The second part of the programme helped
them to become more aware of the importence of prayer groups, how to
build a prayer group and how can it be strengthened to bear fruits. All
these lead the participans to take dicisions and to make specific plans
to reactivate their prayer groups and to take initiatives to reachout
nearby institutions.

[JOYnet] Please check the book .....

2002-05-14 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Please check the book .
Recently in the Joynet somebody had recommended
a book by
Bobby Jose kattikad. It said that the book is attracting the readers
interest very much,
within a few months the third eddition is being printed etc...

Till now I did not get the opportunity to go through
that book
or read any other articles by the same author . So I am not in a
position to
personally make an observation about that.

Then why I am writing this .
Recently in the Sunday Shalom Weekly, news papper , in
a
monthly colum which analyses the positives and negatives of current
Christian Malayalam Literature ,
Magazine Articles , there was a negative statement about the
ideas of the author .The main point was that it contains unchristian
and mainly Buddhist, ideology / ideas. Eventhough the redability is very

good , it may mislead the readers ,the writer was saying like this.
I request some of you to throw more light in
to this
 matter.

I don't know a Jesus who's crabby and a dull witted. If Jesus was that

you can be sure he won't get me. he can forget having someone like jj to

follow him.

I've heard from the mouths of my father and Jos Mathew, Chicago "always
develop a sense of humor! Don't look as though u've been baptized in
vinegar
and confirmed in sulphuric!" I love to hang around with people who have
a
fine tuned sense of humour. It improves my face value!

The people who have made the biggest impact on my life were mainly
people
who have a fine tuned sense of humour along with integrity.

I've got a gr8 friend of mine whos a priest, a holy priest. Sometimes I
wonder if his middle name is spelt as H-U-M-O-R! He's got a great sense
of
it! For any sentence he can put a chuckle on the face of his hearers. I
remember once I met him after he had a minor accident- he fell from a
height
and dislocated his ankle. I entered his room and he was there with a
cast
on
his leg. I proffered my hand saying " I'm sorry father it seems u had a
bad
fall!" and he retorted in mock disbelief "oh no, don't get me wrong, I
had
a
wonderful fall. only the landing was poor!!"

Another time he had to board a train but due to the traffic jam we
arrived
at the railway station as the train started picking speed. We
frantically
tried to jump into the last compartment but unfortunately missed. He was
a
bit annoyed and he muttered. "these trains should never have last
compartments, and even if they do have it should be somewhere in the
middle!"

After I came to the lord, one of the gifts he's given me is the gift of
Laughter. I've learnt to laugh at myself. I'm a very impetuous person by

nature. And a bit short tempered too. But when I look back at the
follies
I'
ve made. I just sit back and laugh. Even when I remember some incidents
where I was apparently hurt, laughter comes to my heart.

Folks at home and other places have all taken me to be a bafoon. I've
always
been the butt of jokes for people around. Once I was so hurt becoz of
the
way people used to pull my leg. I went to my mom & dad and said "people
are
poking fun at me so much I'm feeling hurt!" and they told me with their
parental wisdom" if you can't beat them, join them!, have fun, laugh
with
them too!" My parents may have been failures in other areas, but in this

area they've been a thumping success!. All the half dozen of us kids
have
learnt how to laugh at ourselves. I've got so used to making a fool of
myself and laughing at my follies that it just doesn't matter these
days.

There's this chorus many of you may know "Our God is an awsome God.."
Well,
i alter it sometimes and i sing

My God is a funny God,
He reigns from heavn above,
with wisdom (humor), power and love
My God is a funny God. (can u see a 100 watt smile across the face
of
Jesus?):):)

Never take life too seriously; you'll never come out of it alive!ok. It
is
my humble opinion that people who don't have a sense of humour will have

time in life only for inner healing retreats and nothing else!. I feel
very
sorry for such poor souls. Just imagine spending about 300 hundred
rupees
every other week for patching up the wounds that they've inflicted on
themselves becoz of an impoverished sense of humor!!. Every Jesus youth
should have a healthy sense of humor, otherwise you may soon be on the
highway to bankruptcy, both financial as well as emotional, and there's
nothing funny about that!

Learn to Laugh! after all our Lord is a funny lord!

I was so glad that my mom had finally come down from Goa ..mainly for 2

reasons firstly my cooking problem would solve & secondly
I was expectantly waiting to get some summer fruits esp.Yummy mangoes &

jackfruits
Yes Been waiting for a year to relish these fruits .
So u can imagine my plight when I saw she got nothing .

The ONLY answer she gave me was "Unseasonal Rains ..no Good Fruits"
SO true isnt it !! these trees rely so very much on the climate for
farming fruits during summer & when the rains want to have its own way
that
leads to a disaster .

God has made time for everything Time for sowing & time for Reaping
Time for summer & time for rains .
Time for mangoes ...time for berries

If you are like The Unseasonal Rains & want to have your own way in your

life
today , know for sure that there are no Yellow Delicious Mangoes in
store
for
you .

God doesn't want to fast forword our desires .He wants us to Learn
Patience &
let us grow slowly & steadily in the same

SO , let God has HIS own way in our lives so that we can have a great
banquet
of fruits day after day .

[JOYnet] MY first visit to Coorg

2002-05-09 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Dear Friends
In the first week of may I had been to Coorg on the southern part of
Karnataka, India for animating a Jesus Youth leadership seminar. There I
got the oppertunity to meet a group of honest and sincere young people,
who are really committed to the Kingdom of God.
Most of them are workers like carpenters, autorikshaw drivers, tailors
and small shop owners. Along with their work they find time to build the
Kingdom of God in that area. The Coorg area belongs to both Belthangadi
diocese and mysore Diocese. Of the 20 parishes in this area they are
able to have prayer groups in 16.

The first person I met there isVicent Babu, an autorikshaw driver ,and
also the Jesus Youth service team member. He is married and is is soon
expecting his second child. He said that in order to earn his livelihood
he will work for 3/4 days in a week and the remaining time is used for
building up the Jesus Youth network in that area.Other youth are also
committed like Vincent.

The JY activities in this area is initiated by the Thalasserry Jy in
the year 1993.
In 1999 they organised a youth convention in which about 750 youth
participated.
Now they are having dreams of building up Jy groups in all the different
parts of karnataka.

Antony is the co ordinatore of the new service team for Coorg JY. For
the last two years Augustine was co ordinating the team. Both of them
are carpenters.

Another interesting person I met there is Seby, the Jy co ordinator for
Mysore. He is working in Mysore as a Medical Transcriptionist. Now a days
he is engaging only night shifts so that he will able to catch men
during day time in the parishes, hospitals and campuses during daytime.
The Jesus Youth groups in the Mysore area are growing because of the
efforts of Sebi and his team.

[JOYnet] A good Book to read

Priciple Centred leadership
By Stephen R Covey

Dear Friends,

These days I was reading this famous book by Stephen R Covey who is also
the author of Seven
habits of highly Effective people. i found these two books very useful..

Throughout the book the author is repeating the theme that only natural
laws of nature will work as
far as self growth- personal growth is concerned. Artificial,
personality development tactics will
work only for a short period of time.if you want long range
effectiveness and success in life, only a
priciple centred will life will assure that. Pretention is not enough,
we have to walk our talk.

most of the personality development books are against the basic
Christian values. but these books
absolutely subscribe to the biblical values and principles. I strongly
recommend you to read these two
books by Stephen R Covey. One of my co worker used to say that this is
nothing but Bible in disguise.

 The result of an expiriment.
Not too Exiting - Not too Dissappointing

There was a special gatherings of the B.SC nursing students of the
Medical collage, School of Medical Educations at Kottayam and
puthuppally, in which about 50 girl prayer group members came.

It was aspecial effort to introduce them to the activities and
ministry building efforts of the Nursus ministry. Genarrally the
gathering went well. Main leaders of the ministry including co-
ordinator Sheema M Jose, Leena(staff nurse), Aji Eapen etc..were present
.

Resource persons for the day included Joemon vargese (kyct)Mr.Joby
cyriac, (Lecturer Marian College) P.U. Thomas (Tomas chettan from
navajeevan) Ms.Celinamma (tutor at SME)and Chackochan Njavallil. Mr.
Sebastian (Kottayam) lead the music sessions.

As these girls were not at all familiar with the ministry functioning
outside their prayer grups, it was not easy to communicate with them
about the diffrent needs in thefunctioning of the ministry. At the end
of the day the girls promised that they are ready to do thier best for
building up the ministry,

Ms. Aji Eapen, one of the central team members will be meeting with
all the 50 participant individually, within two weeks for clarifing
thier doubts etc..
Hope and pray that such an effort will bring out more people and
build up the leadership in the ministry.

Many MBA's and proffessionalsin JY Leadership

At least two JY ministers in Kerala has got proffessionals in their
leadership as co ordinators.. It maybe that god is alowing Jesus youth
to be relevent to this generation and next by bringing people from all
the diffrent fields.
Can any other youth organization in India think of this kind of people
in their leadership?.

It is through those who were active in the proffessionals ministry
that JY is spreding to other countries (including nurses ministry ). So
if we want to spread to more countreis, the area which we have to give
more attention in Kerala is the proffessionals ministry.
Now as more proffessional educational institutions are starting in
Kerala, if we work out properly, we could reap much more benefits in

[JOYnet] Hospital Ministry Programs

2002-04-24 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

 Dear Friends,
Hospital ministry is conducting a leaders' training program for nursing
students,working
nurses& hospital staff from April 30-May 5 at Emmaus. The expected
participants are prayer group
leaders of different nursing schools&hospitals. The central team of
ministy hopes that this program
willbe a step to bring up next level leadership in the ministy. One of
the core team members,Rani
Antony from Kanjirappally is going to take a short term cmmitment of
3months after this program.
Her plan is mainly to follow-up the new leaders after the program.
Pleasepray for hospital ministry & for growth of leadership in the
ministy.
On 28th April, Hospital ministry is conducting a
one day program for the
B.Sc.Nursing students students of Medical College,Kottayam & School of
Medical Education
Kottayam .The peculiarity of these two campuses is that they
aredifferent from the culture of other
institutions. T he students enjoy more freedom than that in other
nursing schools.This is actually the
factor that lead us to think about a seperate gathering of these
students to bring about leadership
among them. If this program is effective,we have a plan to conduct 1 or
2 follow-ups as well as to
conduct the same in some other selected institutions like Holycross
Kottiyam & the other 2 ursing
colleges in TVM & Calicut. Please remember the same in your valuable
prayers

[JOYnet] Kairose and Joynet

2002-04-24 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Kairose and Joynet

Kairose is the only youth magazin in Malayalam. It is
published
by JesusYouth as an outreach to youth. Through this media we want to
influence a large number of youth with the message of the gospel and
the transforming andsaving love of Jesus Christ. Eventhough it is
published by Jesus youth, the reader target is the ordinary general
youth.

Kairos is puerly a youth initiative for the youth. It is
being published from 1977 onwards. It is a group of young people from
Calicut who initiated it. From 1998 onwards, it is being published under
the sponsorship of Kerala Jesus Youth.

Though indirectly Joynet and parablenet are contributing a
lot to the succesfull publication of Kairos.Lot of beautiful and
inspiring stories and experiences are being taken from the above two and
transalated and published in Kairos. With out Joynet and parablenet it
would have been much more difficult to continue publishing Kairos.

It is now being published in A4 size, with 36 pages
including cover. The editorial team is well convinced that this much
reading material is not enough for young people to read for a month.
Some of the popular Malayalam weeklies has got 100 pages and more
reading materials per week. We have some dreams like that . This is a
youth magazine, not only a 'spiritual' one We want to touch all aspects
of life as far as a young person is concerned.

There are diffrent ways in which you can assosiate with
and assist Kairos.

   * Wehave found out that it is inspiring life experiences
which touches young people most. So if you have such experiences, please
share it with as.

   * You can provid us with any other useful materiels too.

   * Are you an intercessor . Kairos needs lot of prayer .
To remain as relevent to this ages youngsters we need lot of prayer
. Also pray that many are able to open thir hearts to share the money
also for the purpose of supporting this special form of outreach to
young people.

The most happy thing to not is that almost 100 %.of the
readers are happy about the material which is given in the maggazin .

More about Kairos later

[JOYnet] Cultural Exchange Program for Youth - Update

2001-08-22 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Dear Joynetters,

After a break for sometime I am writing to you again regarding the One
month Cultural exchange program for youth.
These days we have received several encouraging responses from different
dioceses from different parts of the country.
Participation of atleast 10 youth and an animator from 8 dioceses have
already (almost) confirmed. The dioseses are Chanda (Maharashtra),
Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Jammu and Kashmir, Varanasi (Uttarpradesh),
Bhagalpur (Bihar), Belgam (Karnataka), Krishnagar (West Bengal), Khandwa
(Madhyapradesh).
Sr. vigi Rose is making arrangements to bring youth from the states of
Chattisghat and Jharkand (the newly formed states). Actually it was Sr.
Vigi Rose who started such a kind of movement as far as Jesus Youth is
concerned. We are expecting a rather big group from these places.
Another big group is being expected from Gujarat. The Gujarat JY service
team and the leaders there are making arrangements for that.

The following is from a letter which I have written to you previously.

One major thing planned along with the conferece is one month cultural
exchange program for youth in which rural / tribal youth from all the
states of the country are invited to come to kerala and to live with the

youth in kreala (JY).
Can you do any or all of the following.

  1. Pray for the success of this missionary initiative.
  2. Arrange the coming of youth from the dio's outside Kerala
  3. Influence the people who can arrange the coming of such youth. ( Do

you have some friends or priests, sisters who can arrange the
 coming of youth)
  4. Meet the Bishop , youth director of the diocese, Provincials and
other responsible people and impress them about the importance etc.

  5. Any other thing which is appropriate in this case

The details of the program can be sent to you separately.
All those who are interested in assosiating with this endevour, please
write to me.
Your immediate help is needed.
Already letters and reminder letters and details are sent to all the
Bishops etc.
All the expenses of the participants after reaching kerala will be met
by the organisers.

I request you to pray intensely for this endevour in your groups too.

[JOYnet] Surprising Response-Cultural Exchange program for youth

2001-08-06 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Dear Friends,
These days we were looking for different oppertunities regarding the one
month youth exchange program. Today there was a very surprising
development.

The Chanda diocese in Maharashtra is the adopted diocese of the
Kanjirappally diocese in Kerala. It was the Catechesis department which
was doing the follow up regarding the mission diocese as far as the
Kanjirappally diocese was concerned. So we thought of meeting the
Catechism Department Director and discussing the matter. It was with a
bit of hesitation that we went to his office. We were not very sure
about the type of response we should expect. Also we had some
information that some youth had already come from Chanda a few months
back and it may be difficult to do something for the time being.

We went to the directors office and shared with him our plans about
bringing youth from outside and enquired about the possibility of
contacting the Chanda diocese for this purpose.
The director immediately responded very positively and said that he will
contact the Bishop then itself. But at that moment the Bishop was not
available on the line. He said he will contact the Bishop in that night
itself. At about 10'clock he telephoned me and told that he contacted
the bishop and as the Bishop had asked for more details he himself shall
write to him.

The Lord is moving in mighty ways, is'nt so.
Pray for the One month Cultural Exchange program for youth.

[JOYnet] What Can You Do- One Month Cultural Exchange program for Youth

2001-08-06 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Dear Friends,
For some time now I was writing to you about the One Month Cultural
Exchange Program for Youth. I have already received very favourable
reply from Gujarat and a few others also have replied. The coming of
youth fromJharkand and Chathisghat states are almost confirmed. But
regarding the other statessome other means will have to be
identified.

But a few interesting things have happened these days.
Last week I happened to visit one of the Minor seminaries, nearby. There
I saw a board saying that , that congregation has got houses in the
state of Rajasthan. But at that time I was very busy and I had to leave
that place, but I told the Superior that I have got a serious thing to
discuss with him and I will be coming back again.

Then the next day, together with the Kanjirappally JY co ordinator, I
met the superior and discussed the matter and he agreed to sent letters
to the priests in the state of Rajasthan.
We hope that it will bring some fruits.

The superior told us that, a congregation of the sisters from
Kanjirappally also are having houses in that area. We tried to contact
the provincial of this area, but she was not available. We have decides
to meet her soon and discuss the matter with her and we hope that she
also will agree to write to her convents in Rajasthan.

Also the provincials of a cogregation who are having houses in almost
all the states of the country are meeting in Cochin by the end of this
month. We have already written a letter to the Mother General requesting
to allow us to have an interaction with them during their meeting. We
hope that they will agree to that request.

Thase are some of the developments. Have you started praying for this.
Have you started doing something for the Youth Exchange Program.

With Love,
Chackochan Njavallil, Project Co ordinator.

2001-07-29 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

An Overview
Organised by Jesus Youth in collaboration with Asia 2000 this endeavor
gains relevance in the light of the Holy Fathers expectation that in
the third Christian millennium a great harvest of faith will be reaped
in the continent of Asia. Inspiring experiences in the past also
encourage us to take up the risk of organizing such a project.
Schedule

7-10-2001 Retreat at Divine Center Begins
13-24-10-2001 Retreat Ends Zones(Kerala is devided into 21 zones)

expected)
28-10-2001 Final Get together
29-10-2001 Departure
Finance
All the expenses after reaching here will be met by us by means of
contributions and sponsorships. If the diocese can find sponsors from
there it would be a welcome relief. Nevertheless lack of sponsorship
should not deter participation.

Participation details
An animator and 7-10 youth are expected from a diocese. Boys and girls
(youth) between the ages of 18-30 from rural and tribal backgrounds are
expected. The animators are requested to choose youth with leadership
potential.,,
Accommodation
During the days of the retreat the youth will be staying at Divine
Retreat Center, Muringoor. From 13th 24th, the accommodation for boys
and girls are arranged in households where each one will be taken care
of as another family member. The intention is to acquaint them and the
family members with the culture of their respective places.

Commitment
We are motivated by past successes in similar ventures. In 1997 and 99
youth from Bihar (more than 50) came to Kerala for similar programs.
There are no strings to bind the participants to remain committed or
even associated with Jesus Youth or Asia 2000 after the program.

Contact
For further information, clarification etc., you may write to us. The
address and other information is given below. Please remember that the
program is just 80 days away and prompt action is called for booking of
train tickets sufficiently early in order to avoid last minute hassles.

participants. They can avail the concessions offered by the Railway for

Youth
Organised by the Jesus Youth in collaboration with
Asia 2000.

With profound gratitude to Our Lord who leads us by hand, we announce a
Cultural Exchange Program For Youth which is scheduled to be held in
Kerala , from October 6th to 29th , 2001. The program organised by Jesus
Youth in collaboration with Asia 2000, is envisaged as a coming together
of village/rural youth from various parts of India with a view to
sharing and growing in spiritual life. Similar programs over the past
couple of years have helped participants from various parts of India to
initiate the building of a new youth culture in their regional
environment and to encourage vocations.

Participants will be led through a one week retreat in Hindi, will
attend a ten day encounter programme in different parts of Kerala during
which the participants will stay with families. The entire experience
will culminate in their joining in with the few thousands in the Jesus
Youth National Conference from 24th to 28th October. It would be a
fresh cultural experience for the participants from outside Kerala,
while for the hosts it shall be another unique occasion to experience
the Love of Jesus. This endeavor, we believe is all the more relevant in
the light of the Holy Fathers expectation that in the third Xtian
millennium a great harvest of faith will be reaped in the continent of
Asia.

Please consider this as an official invitation for the participants of
7-10 youth (If possible accompanied by an animator) whose expenses for
the 23 days after arrival will be borne by us. (We are also looking at
possibilities to raise funds for the travel of youth from difficult
financial background).

We seek your prayers and gracious guidance to make this program a
success.

[JOYnet] With referense to what Dr. Anup has written yesterday

2001-07-17 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

My dear friends,
Each zone in Kerala is allotted with a state in the country for
intercession and for taking missionary initiatives. But all the zones
are facing almost the same problem as the Kottayam zone . If any one in
the joynet can do something for the purpose of bringing youth from
outside kerala (rural/tribal X'tian youth), it will be wonderful.

If you are interested in doing something regarding the states other than
punjab, you please write to me. I shall link you with the respective
zones. (punjab people , please write to Dr. Anup directly)
This endeavor, we believe is all the more relevant in the light of the
papal expectation that in the third Xtian millennium a great harvest of
faith will be reaped in the continent of Asia.
With Love,
Chackochan Njavallil, kanjirappally, kerala, india

Hai to all at joynet,
Hope you 've heard about the Jesusyouth 2001 Oct Conference. The
preparations in
each zone has started with a 100 day chain intercession. It is intended
to cover
houses of 100 fellow jy [one house each day] till the program begins.
Wouldn't it be a nice idea to meet fellow youth from all over India
during the
conference. For this an initiative has been launched to bring in youth
from each of
the different states in India. Each of the 22 zones of Kerala had earlier
spiritually
adopted 1 state each as their mission outreach area and had started
working
there. Each of the zones will be trying to bring maximum youth from their
mission
area so as to give them an exposure to the various youth activities
occuring under
the Jesus Youth in Kerala.Apart from attending the OCt Conference they
will be
going to the respective zones meeting the people there and getting first
hand
exposure of the various jy activities there. Thus we intend to prepare
those youth-
through the jesusyouth formation -towards leading a witnessing life.
Efforts have begun for the same and we at the Kottayam Zone had been
given the
charge of the state of Punjab at the NorthWest end of India.Until now we
were not
able to make any concrete step towards this other than starting to pray
for the
state. The lack of contacts over there has been a barrier.Pls let us
know-- any jy
working or studying there/any mission priest working there/any other
contact person
over there/any retreat center there/any charismatic prayergroup over
there/
God bless you all.
Prayerful greetings from all at Kottayam,Kerala,India

[JOYnet] Motivated By Love

2001-07-14 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Dear joynetters,

Thanks for the interest you are showing in the book 'Motivated By Love'.

It seems that many are attracted by the name of the book itself .
As Cukko has written earlier the major article in the book is the edited
version of Priya's
series in the Joynet titled 9th batch final gathering.
The cover page also is appreciated very much which was designed by an
active jy and campus team member from Ernakulam Mr. Sanal C A.(a young
budding designer). Kochu Robin from Palai (another active JY) has done
the inside lay out and that also is being appreciated.
The first 1000 copies printed are already over and now 1000 more copies
are printed. They say that this is the first book on jy in English.

Some joynetters are writing to me for the copies.
But it will be better if you can write to emmaus at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Actually this is the 4th book on jy, but the previous books were in
Malayalam.

Special thanks to a joynetter whose timely help which resulted in
bringing out these books.

With Love
Chackochan Njavallil/ kerala/India

[JOYnet] Finally After such a long waiting, I 'am back

2001-06-16 Thread Chackochen Njavallil

Hullo Friends,

This is Chackochan from Kanjirappally, Kerala, writing after a long
break.
Nice to see that the Joynet is growing and growing.
Because of different reasons I was not able to access the mails for
the
last four months.
And now I had more than 1000 mails in my inbox and that created
problems.
Any way I went through most of the mails up to April 10th . By that
time
my mail box was full and it could not keep anymore. So I don't have
any
idea about what happened in this wonderful community from April 10th
to
June 5th. The problem was finally got corrected on that day but I
checked for the mails only on last night. And I am really feeling
happy
now .

In last februvary I was away attending a refresher course in
Trivandrum
and whenI came back we shifted our residence and then there was the
problem with telephone. It took some three weks for them to shift the
telephone to the new place and the connection was continuiously having
some problems ( they say it is because some money was not given to the
workers) .After that the problem was with the mail box. May be because
of the large no. of mails it got struck. It is only after several
repeated complaints to Vsnl that they corrected it.
Now it seems that everything is working properly.

Once again expresing my delight in being part of this family I
conclude
for the time being.
Chackochan
