[jQuery] Re: jQuery Conference for 2009?
Very interesting! What might one find at a jQuery conference? Besides Karl, John, et al, of course?
[jQuery] Re: jQuery Conference for 2009?
+1 for Cleveland, Detroit, or Pittsburgh for the jQuery conference. Really looking forward to join you guys even if I have to take vacation. Absolutely. And I'm really glad you brought it up. Just what we needed to kick planning into gear again. I'm hoping we can give you some concrete info about dates within the next week or so. Is good news that there will be a conference. Looking forward to it. Having the schedule information would be helpful for those of us also attending Ajaxian conference (assuming the two conferences will be adjacent again) from the standpoint of making reservations. But I understand it's not easy to pull that information together. Let me know if there's something I can do to help. There will be a jQuery conference in Boston this year, unless something goes horribly wrong. We don't have any information to provide at this time, but will do so when it becomes available. Sorry, I don't mean to leave anyone in the dark. It's just that specific dates, times, number of days, and location haven't been determined yet. --Karl Karl Swedberg www.englishrules.com www.learningjquery.com On Jun 16, 2009, at 11:09 AM, MorningZ wrote: There wasn't much chatter on the jQuery day here on the group last year either (yet it was packed!) So... is there no interest in a jQuery conference up in Boston this year? Incidentally, this entire post doesn't show up when searching through the group posts. I searched on "conference", on "Boston" and on "Guinness" without pulling up this topic. Weird.
[jQuery] Re: jQuery Conference for 2009?
Hopefully it's up in Boston again, either right before/after AJAX Experience. Makes things simple. And it's Boston, you know; lots of Irish bars serving Guinness on tap. jQuery/AJAX/Guinness, could there be a happier place?
[jQuery] Re: jQuery Conference for 2009?
I sent a tweet to Karl a few weeks ago, he replied "I'm pretty sure you can count on there being a jQuery conf again. Just not sure about any of the details yet." Didn't mention anything about Guinness though, heh heh... oh wait, that's not this conversation On Jun 12, 5:19 pm, ak732 wrote: > Any word on the much-anticipated jQuery conference 2009?
