Use gdalinfo for seeing the details. email - list message: Hi Ede, Jukka and Michael, I kind of agree with Ede to close the bug, if we have a proper message returned and OJ does not hang. Loading that specific type of tiff or png data is rather a feature request. However, for me important too is what Jukka found: That next time we can suggest to the user to explore & transform with gdal into a different (LZW-free?) format. I actually had problems with lzw tiffs and the old image loader earlier too (= years ago). It looks like the problem is with this particular georeferenced image made by "Geographic Imager" for Photoshop. TIFF images georeferenced with gdal for example, have no problems. Hi, Read also how you can make geospatial PDF maps with layers and attribute data with other open source tools. OpenJUMP has a side role in some screen capture. http://latuviitta.org/documents/Geospatial_PDF_maps_from_OSM_with_GDAL.pdf A sample map http://latuviitta.org/documents/Advanced_geospatial_PDF_made_with_GDAL.pdf I wonder if Inkscape can preserve georeferencing and model tree if it is used for fine tuning this kind of PDF files.
