Hi all, I removed from Attribute panel toolbar Savedatasets, Undu, Redo and Layer Statistics plugins (that I added before Christmas) The time limit to January 7th is almost close ( to add OJ to OSGeo-Live 5.5) and Ede and Michael solved many important bugs. Hi Giuseppe, Finally I tested with another computer (with win7) and see this NPE. Oh, I see. Maybe this is a bug related to a specific java version or a specific OS. I observed it on Windows Vista + java 1.6.0_26. Os-dependant bugs are generally more difficult to find and to fix (or to workaround). When I changed the position of the attribute panel toolbar and added these tools here I didn't have any NPE error, honestly I tested only on Ubuntu (I have to reinstall windows). I wonder if I did a mistake not to verify on Window. I'll try to have a look today. Currently, I only use windows. sounds like we should split ViewAttribute and InfoPanel (new subclasses?) to be more flexible in whay tools are in the toolbar. I just come back from vacation and I've not tested all modifications
made on ViewAttribute and InfoPanel but here are some remarks :
New buttons :
*Save datasets* : I see no particular reason to have this button here as
it will save "any" modification, not just attribute modifications and
not just modifications made on active AttributePanel
*Undo/redo* : same remark. Moreover, currently, if you delete features

*Throws NPE* as soon as features from several layers are selected with
the info tool.
InfoFrame : panels on top instead of vertically centered is fine
InfoFrame : the vertical colored band on the left of the panel seems
only visible for layers having a source like a file. Is it an intended
change ?
I did not test persistence of column width yet.
Feature Info Tool can select only features on the selected layers : not
sure I would like to have this behaviour. One can already make layers
selectable or unselectable. It seems to me that adding a rule (selected
and selectable layers) as the default behaviour would be a bit confusing.
Just my 2 cents, open to discussion about all the points of course. Most
important being to fix bugs.
