Somehow the size column has become extremely wide, I am talking about many many display widths, I strongly suspect by ifself. In Plasma System Settings, I shut off autologin, reduced the screen brightness, changed the compositor rendering backend to OpenGL 3.1, and shut off the lock screen. I logged out. I switched to a VT and ran sudo dnf upgrade --refresh -x kernel*. The update included Plasma 5.18.5 and KF 5.70.0. I installed kwin-wayland, plasma-workspace-wayland, xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu, and their dependencies. I logged out of the VT and switched to sddm. I logged into Plasma on Wayland. I added the firefox on wayland icon from the menu to the desktop. I sorted the icons into columns using the right-click menu on the desktop. plasmashell crashed with a segmentation fault in QVector::indexOf at /usr/include/qt5/QtCore/qvector.h:1008 in qt 5.14.2. I saw this crash twice before on the previous boot when clicking on a Thundebird on Wayland icon on the desktop in Plasma 5.18.5 on Wayland. I hadn't seen plasmashell crashes with this traces with Plasma 5.18.4.1 and KF 5.69.0 and earlier. - Unusual behavior I noticed: The desktop went black. plasmashell restarted automatically. [krita] [Bug 394199] Frame flipping behaviour is inconsistent in isolate layer mode for invisible layers.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394199 Eoin O'Neill changed: What|Removed |Added CC||eoinoneill1...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Eoin O'Neill --- More notes from dmitry: - afaict, the following should be done: 1) KisProjectionLeaf should override node visibility if the node is exactly the root of the isolation 2) StartIsolatedModeStroke::initStrokeCallback should check if the node->projectionLeaf()->visible() has changed during assignment of the root if it has changed, updates should be issued 3) These updates should be done with blockUIUpdates set to false (like it is done in KisProcessingApplicator) 4) notifyProjectionUpdatedInPatches() and all the final updates stuff should go into a separate StartIsolatedModeStroke::finishStrokeCallback(), which should be barrier this->enableJob(JOB_INIT, true, KisStrokeJobData::BARRIER) 5) It might be that m_node->projectionLeaf()->explicitlyRegeneratePassThroughProjection(); can be replaced with these new updates, but i'm not sure. It should be a separate patch for sure 6) There should also be an optimization, these updates should not be issued for that layers without any internal projections/caches (not listed in my list in the bug). You might want to add some new method to KisBaseNode, like 'hasProjectionsForUpdateWhileHidden()' for normal layers it should return "this->needProjection()", for KisShapeLayer it shoudl always return true --- -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krunner] [Bug 421166] New: KRunner shortcuts duplicated as "Run Command"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421166 Bug ID: 421166 Summary: KRunner shortcuts duplicated as "Run Command" Product: krunner Version: 5.18.4 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: andy...@mail.ru Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In the KDE System Settings, KRunner hotkey shortcuts are duplicated in two categories: "KRunner" and "Run Command". The available actions and default key bindings are the same. However, the key bindings in the "Run Command" category do not work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to KDE System Settings -> Shortcuts -> Global Shortcuts. 2. In the Components column, see the two categories: "KRunner" and "Run Command". 3. Make sure a hotkey for a given action is bound in the "Run Command" category. For example, make "Run Command" -> "Run Command" is bound to Alt+F2. 4. Press Alt+F2. 5. Change Alt+F2 to be used in "KRunner" -> "KRunner" action (this will unbind it from "Run Command" -> "Run Command"). 6. Press Alt+F2 again. OBSERVED RESULT The available actions and default hotkeys in "KRunner" and "Run Command" are the same. At step 4, pressing Alt+F2 doesn't do anything. At step 6, pressing Alt+F2 does invoke KRunner, as expected. EXPECTED RESULT I don't see the reason for this duplication, especially when one of the shortcut categories doesn't work. There should be one place to configure KRunner shortcuts, and the shortcuts configured there should work. [LabPlot2] [Bug 421088] Where are the interpolated data?
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421088 --- Comment #7 from Alexander Semke --- (In reply to RG from comment #6) > > Ok. All analysis functions create (new) > columns in a hidden worksheet. If the data is needed numerically, the > worksheet can be made visible. So even smoothed, filtered, fitted ... data > can be further processed externally. If we hide the data, we need to explain the user how to get it. At the moment the data smoothed, interpolated, etc. data is available internally and is used for the visualization of the curve in the plot. The generated data is "attached" to the curve and we can add maybe a "Copy data" to context menu of the curve. With this you would be able to copy the data and paste it in the spreadsheet. Alternatively, we generate a new column in the source spreadsheet and add the smoothed, interpolated, etc. data into it. Maybe we should enable both ways... > > Can you please attach here your project file so I can validate? > > Sure, file PPrunden_smooth.lml is attached. Thanks for the support. Yes, this is the same issue as in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413401. Please check my last comment there. This problem is fixed in 2.8. We didn't release 2.8 yet but we're already finalizing everything for the release now. We have nightly builds for windows. If you want give it a try, download from https://labplot.kde.org/download/. The new features for 2.8 were described in the last couple of blog posts on our homepage. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420762 --- Comment #4 from Lonnie --- Ah, that makes sense (because they are all dependent on Tap-to-click being enabled). I installed Kubuntu 20.04 over my previous Kubuntu 19.10 installation, where I had previously disabled Tap-to-click. After 20.04 was installed, the Tap-to-click option too was disabled; it was probably mistakenly included into the code block that properly disables all those Tap-dependent sub-features (leaving no opportunity to toggle Tap-to-click itself back on). [dolphin] [Bug 307505] Double click free space to folder up
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307505 --- Comment #14 from george fb --- I don't think this "bug" should be closed. The dolphin maintainer rejected my patch, which adds an option that lets the user decide what action is triggered, but he said "I could accept a patch that triggers the "Go up" action" https://phabricator.kde.org/D20532#539550 So he's ok with a default "Go up" action that doesn't require an option, what's actually requested here. Unless he changed his opinion. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kscreenlocker] [Bug 421066] No password prompt to unlock screen after resume from suspend
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421066 --- Comment #2 from Silvan Calarco --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Are you using the Breeze theme? Seems like maybe an issue with the login > screen theme itself. Can you see any QML errors on the console? Yes it's Breeze. There are some QML errors, but don't know if they are relevant. I'm attaching parts of journal I saved some days ago when the problem happened. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[ark] [Bug 421139] Drag-and-Drop files from list view has solid background, hiding items underneath

That would be a bug/visual issue in Ark though. Perhaps it should make them semi-transparent while dragging?
