But that > package is not installed and not available (any more) in the repository. > If this is the cause and if kaccessible is deprecated can the zoom component > be updated to use another way to follow the focus? Yes, kaccessible is dead. We should use libqaccessibilityclient. The focus tracking had been brought up to the discussion quite a while ago (see bug 362189) and I even wrote a patch to port the zoom effect to libqaccessibilityclient. [plasmashell] [Bug 420635] Apps that autostart do not appear in the system tray, including DiscoverNotifier
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420635 --- Comment #30 from Brian Wright --- AHA :-) It appears that I found the culprit - NoMachine! NoMachine appears to wreak havoc with KDE Plasma when you log in via SDDM. To be fair to NoMachine, I may have configured it incorrectly. The NoMachine server was always running in the background, and only by removing it and rebooting the machine, everything was AOK. I suggest installing NoMachine on your system (local or virtual) and set it to run the server at startup, then reboot. You should see the same thing I experienced. It seems that the NoMachine server and client are intertwined, so more testing will have to be done with the NoMachine server not running on startup. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421376 vanyossi changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ghe...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from vanyossi --- Sounds to me like a normal computer behaviour. CPU does use RAM to mover data in and out. Less free ram, less space to work with. Does this happen in the same conditions with an image smaller, say 250x250? [krita] [Bug 421376] New: Krita hiccups while painting every few seconds
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421376 Bug ID: 421376 Summary: Krita hiccups while painting every few seconds Product: krita Version: 4.3.0-beta1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tamtamy.tym...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When my PC is under a heavy load, usually when my RAM is kinda full (I guess around 80-90%?) even though CPU is free, Krita sometimes has a hiccup. This is not related to autosave since it happens way too often. It seems to be regular. Note: there is a chance it happens under lower load as well but I don't notice it as much? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open programs to take up a lot of RAM. 2. Paint one consistent line for a long time, quite quickly. (It doesn't need to be one stroke, but it helps seeing the problem). EXPECTED RESULT The line is being drawn all the time consistently. OBSERVED RESULT Sometimes the line stops, but then restarts - it is just a visual lag, since the underlying stroke has the same shape as other parts of the stroke. ADDITIONAL INFO The lag happens around every 5 seconds. Also when I tried to use a simple applet, I had a problem recording the video because I had a huge lag all the time - and the stroke shape was different, because, I believe, Krita didn't get enough tablet events because of the heavy performance needs. That suggests that in this case it might be something inside of Krita instead of my system? NOTE: It can of course still be my system... Also Krita 4.3.0 I think has the same issue, and I'm not sure if it's a regression or not. I will check further. I'd like to leave it here so other people (1) can see the video and check if it looks familiar, (2) can tell me it's all because my system is bad and doesn't deserve a cookie, or (3)... maybe someone would guess the reason. I will check other versions to see which has it. [kmymoney] [Bug 421288] Unable to delete some categories
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421288 --- Comment #5 from Jack --- Rather than leave the delete enabled, and then have to block it anyway, I would much prefer to see a better way to inform the use of why the delete (or, in fact any action) is not allowed. Displaying that information in a tool-tip would work, but it might also be reasonable to show it in a status are, such as at the bottom of the main window. I think this is actually a much broader issue than just not being able to delete some object. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421374 Bug ID: 421374 Summary: "Could not find the program ‘konsole’ error" after Plasma 5.18.5 update. Product: kmenuedit Version: 5.18.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: lnx...@westlot.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY After the 5.18.5 update, I get a "Could not find the program ‘konsole’ error" when trying to launch executable scripts directly with 'Run in terminal' checked in Advanced tab in the Menu Editor. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have executable script (python, bash, etc) in Application Menu set to run in terminal with command "[path to script]/hello.sh" 2. Open Application Menu and select script to run. OBSERVED RESULT Error dialog stating "Could not find the program ‘konsole’" is displayed. EXPECTED RESULT Konsole opens with running script. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.18 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Konsole itself runs fine from the Application Menu and a terminal window. This appears to only affect applications set to run in a terminal from within the Application Menu. This is also reported on the Manjaro forums: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/could-not-find-the-program-konsole-error-after-manjaro-update/140484 I realise this is probably not a kmenuedit bug, but there is no Application Menu section and I have no idea where this should go. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
