I am not sure if it would be linear or not.? Not sure if the pressure
under so many inches of fuel is the same with a constant area cylinder
or one that gets bigger or smaller as it goes up.? Been too long since I
took physics.

They do sell the sender with or without the fuel computer.? The computer
is used to calibrate the sender at different fuel levels.? I was going
to get it without the computer since my EFIS has calibration built in
for non-linear senders.? You can enter 10 (if I recall correctly) levels
and the system then interpolates between them to give you an accurate
reading over the whole span even without a linear sender.

My plan was to install the sender in a T installed right at the outlet
of the tank which is how the other guy with the Mustang did it.? That is
much easier to do than my other option of installing a capacitative
probe in the tank.? I spoke to Belite and they said a T right in the
fuel outlet is fine.

One of those sensors mounted in a tee fitting low in the fuselage, 
below or equal to, the bottom of the tank might be a simple and 
accurate fix. I'm thinking "weight" might be linear, even in a 
non-linear tank as long as the sensing intervals are not to short and 
it averages out the reads. I wouldn't want gust loads and G loads in 
turns, etc., to cause the gauge to bounce all over the place.

Cedar Key...the "unicom" is really a guy in a taxi
that has a radio mounted in it.  And don't pay
attention to the plaque at the end of the runway
dedicated to all who have died going in and out of
there...it's really a nice airstrip. Just kinda short
and people get a little disoriented when they take off
to the west. :-)

South of there in Hernando county is Pine Island. 
Nothing special, just your run of the mill Florida
beach. 

South of there in Pasco county is the new Boyce-Warner
state park. I has no beach.  It is natural Florida
coastline in all of it's mosquito bitten glory.
However, there are miles of walking trails and several
different entrances spanning a 12 mile range along
US19. It's old Florida, before it was all developed.
Great place for bird watching, if you're into that. 



Anclote Key in Tarpon SPrings has just finished
retoration of the old lighthouse and gaurd house. it
is only accessable by boat, although I believe there
is a shuttle boat that now goes out there from Anclote
River park. Beautiful island. 

Honeymoon island state park in Dunedin is accessable
by car and is absolutely gorgeous. 

Down in the St. Pete area is Ft. Desoto, also
accessable by car. You must see this park.  It is an
old military bombing range, so old ordnance is found
there evertime a big storm comes through and uncovers
it. If ya find any, dont' touch...report it. Most of
them are duds. :-)
Great white sand beaches.

Go south over the Skyway bridge and you'll find
Sanibel island.  A beautiful resort area.  Simply
great, but somewhat pricey. 


Any more Q's, ask...I'm a great tour guide.  I'm a
lifer here in Florida, a true southerner.

Dana,
 Cedar key is an interesting place. They have 3 great sea food
restaurants. There is an old lady with a taxi that watches for
airplanes to show up. She usually gets there by the time you taxi in.
There are 2 or 3 bed and breakfast type joints. Cedar key was once
the straw broom manufacturing center of the U.S from what I
understand
 The runway looks deceiving from the air. It looks short, but there is
plenty of room. I have flown my Mustang II in and out of there for
years. Also the Bellanca Viking has no trouble..
 If you enjoy quaint little fishing villages, it's worth the stop. Bobby

disregard. However I have been having difficulty setting up and sending
messages through the list. Anyways here are my questions.

1) Are there any sample plans or anything similar out there to see before
I purchase the plans?

2) Also are there any KR-2S, KR-2 in Florida under construction or flying?

Brian Kraut in Jacksonville Florida based at Craig Airport.
Steve Jones in Venice Florida based at Venice.
Dean Cooper in Jacksonville as well ( I think).

I have been following the email about many topics on
KR2 then I decided to build one KR2, Found one boat on
 a retracable and tail drager configuration,I live in
Jacksonville area and I would like to get in touch
with every one in Jacksonville. planning to build
Outer Wing Panel, missing  the ribs for the aerifoil
RAF48, is any one have the drawing? the FWD and Aft
Spars are bulit but I do not know how to glass it.and
if any one has fuel wing tankfor sale.
