Hi Sophie,

There is no header in these files (they are in sdf format not in po).
You can get names from
http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/build/Files/OOO330/update_gsi_files
and maybe you can find their e-mail address somewhere (e.g. on
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Languages). It would be great,
if you mailed them. Thanks!

I used to submit en-GB sdf via issue for l10n integration for OOo
releases. I didn't bother Pavel for en-GB DEV300 builds as I could do
my own test builds as needed.

Once we get LO 3.3 out of the way, I'd like to get en-GB into Pootle and
get rid of the mega-l10n repo. (even though it will involve a bit of
retooling at this end)

[libreoffice-l10n] Some help needed regarding several strings

2011-01-09 Thread Yaron Shahrabani
Hey guys, I'm almost at 100% and ready for tommorow's commit, I can't
promise to deliver but we are at 98/99% already.

Here are some questions we could use a little help with:

Foral-StudioA (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232498
)
What kind of gallery is it? Where can I see those elements? (I saw that in
Korean they only translated the word Studio and the rest is the same)

What are the ODMA DMS dialogs? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232234
)

Where does this Justify string appears? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232247
)

Whats the context of this Align to bottom string? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232255
)
Same for Align to top (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232258
)

Does this string tells us that something is Centered Vertically or is it a
command? And what is this centered item exactly? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232256
)

Ignore isolated pieces of length (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232290),
I have no idea what does that mean...

I don't know what this strings are for, where do they appear?
Calc A1 -
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232423
Excel A1 -
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232424
Excel R1C1 -
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232425

Outplace OLE Object - What is this command doing? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232430
)

Kabyle Latin - Can someone refer me to some info about this pair or explain
a little about it? (
http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232441
)

That's it,
Thanks in advance ☺

The Novell Edition of OpenOffice.org for Windows includes improved
integration with ODMA (Open Document Management Architecture) services, for
example with GroupWise®. If you have the GroupWise client installed on the
machine, OpenOffice.org will offer to open documents from GroupWise, or save
documents in GroupWise. If you want to open or save documents using the
normal Windows file dialog instead, click the "Use Application Dialog"
button when offered to select a document from GroupWise or to save a
document into GroupWise. To avoid the GroupWise dialogs altogether, toggle
the corresponding button in the Tools->Options->General dialog.

Kabyle is a language, Latin is a script -> text in Kabyle written with Latin
script. You can set it as a character property.

OmegaT does not require XLIFF to translate ODF. And you still get a
TMX memory from the process. The TMX can later be used for other
parts of the localization process.

I seem to recall that OmegaT doesn't handle numbering styles very well,
or at least it didn't when I last tried it a few months ago. This was
the real blocker for me with regard to OmegaT , but maybe it is just my
inexperience with using it.

Hi,

Thanks Andras, you've been much faster than me :-) Just a small
precision because I've localized it in French:

http://translations.documentfoundation.org/he/libo33/lo-build-he.po/translate/?unit=232424
Excel R1C1 -

R1C1 means Row 1 Column 1.

As soon as I will manage to find the name of the Koshin (kid) language, the

I think it is when you open a OLE object in a separate window instead of
inside the surrounding document.

For example, if you have a calc spreadsheet inside a text document, you
can open the spreadsheet in a new window to edit its content.

[libreoffice-l10n] Removal of translations from NL English site at libreoffice.org

2011-01-09 Thread David Nelson
Hi, :-)

On libreoffice.org, we have the various international sites of the NL
projects, with content in that particular NL.

On one or two pages of the English main site, there are translations
into a couple of languages for which there is an NL site.

My idea is that this is inconsistent, and that it can cause people to
believe that this is the sum total of localized content on the
libreoffice.org site, causing them to ignore the International Sites
page.

I suggest removing them, because the NL sites already contain any and
all content you want in your NL language.

Thoughts?

David Nelson

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Re: Commit localized strings for LibO-3.3-rc3 release

2011-01-09 Thread Mikel Pascual
Hi,

In "eu", here is the problem:
http://pootle.documentfoundation.org/eu/libo33/lo-build-eu.po/translate/?unit=230100

Had to change WORD for CHAR.

I can only make suggestions, and there's nobody who can commit changes.
Maybe some admin could commit the change?

By the way, it would be great to be able to commit new translations, as
nobody else seems to be interested in contributing in LibO's eu translation.

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Translating ODF files on Pootle

2011-01-09 Thread Rimas Kudelis

Hi Xuacu,

2011.01.10 01:08, Xuacu rašė:

I guess it's time for asturian team to take care of this one :)

Please, Rimas, can you activate ast language for us?

Just did. Bear in mind though that online translation is basically not
working for that project now. You probably should translate this XLIFF
file offline using Virtaal and only upload it to Pootle afterwards
(though I'm not quite sure whether or not it would be kept intact after
uploading).

[libreoffice-l10n] L10n link under contribute page

2011-01-09 Thread Sophie Gautier

Hi all,

Could it be possible to add a link to the l10n list and team on the
website/contribute page.

Localization of the product is somehow important to the extent that one
of its aspects is to allow better penetration and use of the product.

Thanks in advance
Kind regards
Sophie
