Thank you, Antonio! There is one thing that you should do immediately or
you will miss answers and announcements: subscribe to this mailing list;
to do so, send an empty e-mail to l10n-subscr...@openoffice.apache.org
and respond to the confirmation request you will receive.

We had a few volunteers who showed up for Portuguese PT but the only one
who responded to my last call for updates is Paulo, in CC. Please try to
coordinate with him, at least to make sure you are not duplicating work.

We have a translation deadline next week if you want the pt_PT version
to be released in January. Everything is already available. Basically,
you need the PO files for Portuguese which are available at

http://people.apache.org/~jsc/translation/aoo341_pt_po-files.tar.bz2
and instructions on how to handle them are at
http://www.openoffice.org/l10n/how_to_join.html
and
http://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html

Should you need any more help, just ask.

Regards,
  Andrea.

to starsza wersja naszego produktu. W wersji Apache OpenOffice 3.4 dokonano
wielu poprawek błędów, dodano rozszerzenia funkcjonalności oraz dużo nowych
funkcji.
Z przyjemnością udostępnimy OpenOffice Apache 3.4 w języku polskim, ale
potrzebujemy pomocy w ukończeniu tłumaczenia interfejsu użytkownika. Na dzień
dzisiejszy przetłumaczone jest około 95%. Potrzebujemy wolontariusz, którzy
mogą pomóc nam w dokończeniu tłumaczenia pozostałych 5%.

Welcome! At the latest status update, Mehmet Demir (in CC) said that they
were working on the Turkish translation and that they needed help, so I
recommend that you coordinate with Mehmet.

There is a deadline next week if you want OpenOffice 3.4.1 in Turkish to
be released in January, so the sooner you coordinate the better.

I don't know so much about .po files.

PO files for Turkish are in one big package, at
 http://people.apache.org/~jsc/**translation/aoo341_tr_po-**files.tar.bz2http://people.apache.org/~jsc/translation/aoo341_tr_po-files.tar.bz2
and you will need to coordinate with Mehmet to avoid duplicate work.

Instructions on how to handle them are at
 http://www.openoffice.org/**l10n/how_to_join.htmlhttp://www.openoffice.org/l10n/how_to_join.html
 and
 http://openoffice.apache.org/**translate.htmlhttp://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html
(and we are always available if you need further help).

wondering if I need an account for it or not.

You can ignore the Pootle server for the time being: we are using PO files
 for Turkish at the moment.

   Andrea.

Thanks Christer, the Danish team is already on this mailing list.

If I understand correctly, you are providing an improved translation of
the Danish home page. You sent two versions, but the one to use is the
second, that I've temporarily put at

http://people.apache.org/~pescetti/tmp/openoffice-da.odt
(this mailing list does not normally accept attachments, even though
small files like yours manage to pass). I can put it online after it has
been approved by the Danish team.

Three small observations:

1) Your translation, and the current text at
http://www.openoffice.org/da/ , contain a link to a user survey hosted
at smartsurvey.dk. Danish team: is this something you control? Otherwise
it's better to get rid of it.

2) You ask to explain the difference between OpenOffice and LibreOffice
on the Danish home page. This can be postponed since we will answer it
globally in January as part of the Ask OpenOffice initiative:
http://www.google.com/moderator/#16/e=2033e8

3) If you wish to take a look at the current Danish development version,
you can find it at http://people.apache.org/~jsc/respin_aoo341/ ; please
report any translation bugs you find (even though I'm not sure, and
again I'm asking it to the Danish team here, that this version contains
the latest Pootle updates).

Regards,
  Andrea.
