Brad,

I'm sorry you interpreted my suggestion in a negative light.

I am also very sorry to hear that health issues are causing you to have to
downsize and move.

My intent was to Help you get a LOT more attention focused on YOUR Mill.

Yours would not get the attention - comments & questions from Group Members -
if it was tucked away in a posting for an old (very old?) Steely mill.

If you need help getting it posted here - in its own posting, we can and will
help you do that. All you need to do is ask for help. It will cost you
nothing.

If you had a 5 year old Ford F-150 that you wanted to sell - I don't think you
would want to put it in the same ad with a 15 year old Datsun pickup truck.
The two will have appeal to two quite different buyers. Same applies to the
Steely Mill and your Loaded Model 1200 w/drive motor.

Please reconsider your decision to withdraw from The Group - and re-post your
Mill here; or ask for help in getting that accomplished. Let The Group show you
we are here to help members; especially when they need it the most.

Sincerely,

Mac

Re: Fw: Moderators Note

2020-01-04 Thread Tim
Hi Johnny,

I'm glad you approve. I will try harder to eliminate off topic banter. I
just personally think it's wrong to be to harsh in a voluntary group.

This is mostly a self moderated group and when things get slow we get a
little loose with the conversation. Google groups only allows the deletion
of a complete message or thread. This makes it difficult to edit on my
end. So yes, people should think clearly about what they post. On the
other hand, it's like pulling teeth to get anyone to post any messages that
ask questions, show their work, or do a quick write up on a project they
have made. So to me, a little off-topic is okay from the more prolific
posters.

That's my line of thinking.

Tim

I am quite certain Tim, our Group's Moderator, will eventually echo the same

Here in a new decade, I know he wants us all to do what we can to clean up our
