Thank you for your help. Resetting the report settings did work initially,
but I think I found the source of the problem. After experimenting with the
report options, I found that the problem only occurs when I click Report
Options and then on the sources tab Print source citations as footnotes.
This is a bit disappointing to me since I use footnotes in all my reports.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you,

Eric

RE: [LegacyUG] Problem with Ancestor Report Book

2009-09-13 Thread ronald ferguson

Eric,

I can confirm that this is a bug. If you haven't done so already please report
this as a bug and ensure that you specify the exact circumstances in which it
happens - Brian has to be able to replicate it.

If that doesn't do the job, then try using the Reset button on the bottom

the C:\Legacy\ folder (that is the default directory)

I have an issue with the Ancestor Report Book that I please want some help

Eric,

I thought that the problems with using footnotes had been cured. I cannot check
this until tomorrow (Sunday - GMT +1:00), but meanwhile I suggest that you
raise a bug report giving the full details - Legacy Home tab.

Don't forget that the programmers are sunning themselves at the moment :-)

I hadn't tried that Dennis, so I have just done so using two different people,
one the child of the start person and the other an aunty.

In both cases the invisibles did not appear and the numbers were adjusted

Ronald-

Thank you for your help. Resetting the report settings did work initially,
but I think I found the source of the problem. After experimenting with the
report options, I found that the problem only occurs when I click Report
Options and then on the sources tab Print source citations as footnotes.
This is a bit disappointing to me since I use footnotes in all my reports.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you,

Eric

Then I would ask the OP if he is running the latest version. I vaguely
recall there being some problems with invisibles in the past. Of course,
if the OP doesn't have an invisible in this family...
