Re: [LegacyUG] Arrrggggh No FAG in the search filed

Ian,

Thanks for pointing that out. I don't think I've ever used the Query by
Example except when following up a query like yours.

I'll check whether an issue has been added for this missing option.

However you'd still need to do two searches or a combined detailed
search while you have FaG numbers both in an Event and in the special
new box.

If you mean you can't see "Find a Grave ID" in the detailed search drop
down list of where to search, it is there.

Thank you, I will try that for now.

You can use Detailed Search to search by FAG ID.

OLD STYLE & NEW STYLE DATES FOR THE QUAKER CALENDAR

You are probably familiar with the change from the Julian to the Gregorian
calendar in 1752/53. Because of the Quaker custom of not using standard
names for months there is some modern confusion when refering to pre-1752
Quaker records. The following table should be of assistance.

OLD STYLE NEW STYLE
(Before 1753 the QUAKER(After Jan 1, 1753)

in March)

This is not in reply to any particular post, but about the road this thread
has taken. I don't think anyone meant to go against the rules of the forum.
It happens. Simply trying to offer suggestions to make things easier for

good in people, and give them the benefit of doubt in most scenarios
(unless they're an obvious troll). So let's please make this post the last

The original message to the list is in the attachment.

This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy
imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages
without conversion to attachments should use a different email address
for their subscription.

Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require
this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email
providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.--- Begin Message ---
Normally when I enter my source documentation I enter it thus:  Census Record
Upshur Co. 1920then in the next tab space I add: Census # 123-115; age 17or
something similar.
Now when I get to the tab portion the program freezes and requires  hard boot
to restart the whole program.  Does not enter the data.
What happened?  I've been doing this for years without a problem.  My RAM
