Wouldn't it be easier to simply remove the .166 build from the server so
that it could not be downloaded rather that plead with users to not

Re: [LegacyUG] Do not download the latest version 9 update

2017-04-27 Thread Bob Austen
Hi Denise & Dean,

Love your analogy Denise.

I am enjoying the new features.

The only one I’ve had issue with is the ‘Bingo cards’. Apparently this is only
a game and can’t figure out why it was even included. I have had no success in
seeing what it does – my computer takes a huge amount of time to digest this
and then the program either crashes or locks up the computer. I have a high
end gaming computer with lots of RAM so the computer is not the problem.
Perhaps the 10,000 pictures doesn’t help!

I also agree with these comments. I downloaded v9 and its updates and have
encountered no problems. Some of the new features, particularly the hints from
other sites, are very useful. I hope other key sites can be added in the
future.

By the way, I am running Windows 10.

Unless you're a techie and just have to have to the latest of everything,
I'd say waiting to upgrade is good advise for *any* software. No matter how
much a company tests, you never know what's going to crop up in a
large-scale roll-out.
