Re: Fw: Fw: [LegacyUG] - 7.5.0.166 - Still Have Screen Font Problem
I do not recall the fonts changing in split view prior to the last update. I guess the moveable fonts are an unintended bonus that Legacy gave us in the last update. I'm surprised that their techies couldn't replicate the problem using your database. Jacob On Fri, Mar 16, 2012 at 1:47 PM, Kay Fordham wrote: > Yes. Yes. When I do split screen the fonts stay at Verdana 10 rather than resizing because I had to set it that way for regular view. It is a pain. Re: Fw: Fw: [LegacyUG] - 7.5.0.166 - Still Have Screen Font Problem
When I open the split-screen view each Legacy session, the font on the "original" file is much lager in Family View. But if I go to Customize-Fonts and adjust, the fonts go back to normal size and stay for the session. In fact, I don't even have to adjust or save, just go to Customize and they change back. Of course, it is a pain in the posterior to have to do this each session. Jacob On Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 11:07 AM, Kay Fordham wrote: > Tim - Thanks! Never new about this feature. Follow-up to Brian's message. Sent my file to Tech Support and they cannot determine the source of the problem. 7.5.0.166 - Still Have Screen Font Problem Downloaded 7.5.0.166 today and still have the problem detailed below. I REALLY would like to get this anomaly resolved. Can I send my file to Brian or someone else in Tech Support? As I subsequently reported the only way to get them to stick is to select "Stretch fonts when resizing" and then set the minimum to the smallest size I selected and maximum to the largest size I selected. I have never messed with the minimum and maximum font choices previously and used the default. I sure don't want to change them every time I change fonts. I have Verdana 10 set for data, Verdana 11 for labels, and Verdana 10 for notes. I have the minimum font set at 10 and the maximum at 11. No problem here. However, if I change the min font size to 6 all three (data, labels, and notes) have now reverted to 6. As stated previously there is no problem with the report fonts sticking.
