I know several were having probelms connecting Legacy Family Search with the website but when they contacted the Church's Support by phone, they were readily helped and able to get connected. https://www.familysearch.org/help/contact Sincerely, Sherry Technical Support Legacy Family Tree On Mon, Oct 1, 2012 at 10:06 AM, Kay Fordham wrote: > I am not LDS. I am not LDS. I registered for the regular Familysearch site in June 2010. That user name and password also get me in to the new FamilySearch program. It appears that their process has some disconnects since some non-LDS are able to access and others are not. I'm sure this will all get worked out in time. I went right to it and I wasn't even signed in. Go the family search site, click on Help, then on Contact us. I contacted them several times about all of this pushing the use of the site and then NOT allowing anyone to really join. I was even getting emails asking to join. I finely told them to either approve my account or stop ALL mailings. Next day I got an email stating that my account had been approved.
